If we have any complaints we should blame our system as an African country a member of African Union we still need visa to visit our member countries like south africa and so on, our system create this problem Nigeria and we Nigerians living in both Nigeria and abroad, I have some Kenyans, Ethiopians, Ugandan friend who don't want to associate themselves with Nigerians because of the crime Nigerians commit on a daily basis abroad. An Uganda lady asked me why are Nigerians so brave like this? A country where our government don't obey the rule of law and you think we have right abroad when a foreigner see Nigerians they see crime and fraud, I remember an European lady I once meet in a train she asked me if I know Nigerian prince that she has a lot of emails from them talking about there forefathers inheritance, she said she hope I am not a Prince from Nigeria Just imagine and truly I am a genuine prince from Nigeria. if we change our ways as a Nigerian and we have a good government so many countries will open there border to us, imagine Ghana passport can visit Hong kong, Bahamas and so many good countries without Visa ask me why? No kidnapping, No terrorism, No fraud, No drugs. ( don't worry everyone will make it to DE Just be patience) God bless Nigeria.

Contrary to your narrow minded and local mentality, Germany, like every developed nation, works with logic and rule of law, and not irrational sentiment like this third world country that you live in. Theh cannot wake up and choose to victimise a country. If there is a problem with their consulate in Nigeria, we as applicants and prospective scholars, who meet the requirements for study visa ( have admission and proof of funding) have EVERY RIGHT TO COMPLAIN and bear our grievance without fear of victimisation. There have been cases of people who even sued the consulate and won, when they met the requirement for Visa but were refused. Dont just open your mouth and start spewing stuff that you know little to nothing about
. (Contrary to your narrow minded and local mentality, Germany, like every developed nation, works with logic and rule of law, and not irrational sentiment like this third world country that you live in) mind you Mr poster everybody has his or her own opinion and Mr poster I don't live in Nigeria you don't know me and you have no right to insult me (arrogant Nigerian), keep your Idea to yourself you can do whatever you like nobody is holding your arms, you are fucking so rude to talk to me like that keep your ideas to your silly mind so you know everything about Germany or I forget you are born and raise in Germany coward!!! What do you want in Germany student visa thread, FYI I don't reside or live in a third world country if you don't know shit about me keep your mouth shut, you meet the requirement for study visa and you think German student visa is your birth right you better go back to sleep and wake up, we have seen so many people that meet the requirement for student visa and get denied, (German Student Visa is not your Right)

They don’t listen until the system spoil completely. Patient is Nigerians weakness. Last last innocent students go suffer.
. But nobody knows what is going on and we should advice our Nigerians to be of good character abroad that's the different between us Nigerians and Ghana. Africans are so afraid of us. that's why USA shot the door at us and other counties, this is not the matter of Visa appointment and block account uploading on embassy web, this is beyond what we are thinking, what I will advice is patience, the consulate knows what's going on they have there reasons to setting dates to 10 to 12months, if it is all about people booking AD in advance without AL they would have impose that new policy of uploading your block account or SL and AL to there website.

This is not true. Nigerian students in Germany do not even have the largest population from Africa. As of winter 2018 we were only about 1,900 , even cameroonian and Ghanaian students are more than twice our population. Thd largest population of foreign students is from China with over 32,000 students, then Russia and Austria. India had about 14,000 students. There is no hidden agenda in place to reduce foreign students. In fact there are new laws set in place to ease immigration for highly educated/skilled workers from 3rd world countries. These laws would take effect from January 1 2020. The laws also make provision for the foreign students as well.

See this link https://www.studying-in-germany.org/germany-international-student-statistics/

The Nigerian German consulate is having some temporary issues that would soon be rectified. One thing we could do is to send a complaint (RESPRCTFULLY) to the Berlin headquarters https://www.auswaertiges-amt.de/en/aamt/zugastimaa/buergerservice.
Lay our concerns about how flawed and inefficient the current online booking system is , and recommend that the system should be modified to make provision for applicants to upload their admission letters as well as sponsorship letters/funded blocked account documents/scholarship before appointment dates can be set. That way it would ensure that only true and eligible applicants can get appointment dates. Also tell them that the embassy seems to be inactive at the moment.
. Guys take it easy don't shot all Nigerians student travelling to Germany in the Leg do you think the ambassador of German embassy in Nigeria is sleeping. We Nigerians like to assume and this will not take us to anywhere, reporting the German consulate in Nigeria to Berlin immigration office is a very bad idea, why don't you report to the ambassador representing Germany in Nigeria if you have any complain you can address them to the ambassador here, Germans don't gain anything in not issuing visas to Nigerians infact they want you in there country, NOTE: ( your own idea is upload their admission letters as well as sponsorship letters/funded blocked account documents/scholarship before appointment dates can be set nobody will buy that) don't teach German embassy their Job that is our Nigerian mentality that is why we are Nigerians we made the system so hard for everyone, you think they care if you miss your interview that's why there is 6month ban. I don't know why people going for summer semester in April are worried now

AVO19:
Hello everyone, I’ve noticed the amount of people worried about getting interview dates and I want to share my view. (NOTE: This is just my observation/opinion and you are free to disregard it)
1. I think the reason why dates have not been free flowing so far is because the embassy has some personnel issues currently. I say this because, I and a friend had interviews in different weeks in November (cat b) and we noticed that the same V.O interviewed both of us. She’s a Nigerian woman, igbo I think. Also on the day of my interview there were only 2 V.O’s working that morning. If you also recall, a couple of weeks back some people stated that they observed that a couple of V.O’s quit or something. Now, I can’t really say wether that’s true but from what I noticed, it seems like the number of people being interviewed this period are very few, we were only 5 students on the day of my interview.
Now, calm down first, even if my observation is correct, this certainly does not mean that nobody will get dates anymore for summer. I’m very sure that the embassy will be actively working on re-staffing and doing everything possible to cater to everyone, so nobody (cat a or b) should be giving up, or loosing sleep over this. Most schools resume march or April and there’s still enough time to process visas before that time.

2. If you are currently waiting for interview date, piece of advice: don’t just wait passively, you have to be active. First, if you’ve gotten admission already, make sure you’re familiarize yourself with your program coordinator or whoever the contact person in your school is. Email them introducing yourself, then also let them know that you have applied for date and importantly, ask them for the possibility of getting an enrollment extension so that in case you get a date late, you can still make it for summer.
Also, (pls note that this is only advise, you don’t have to follow it, and I will not be liable for any damages. Lol) if your program starts in February and you have not gotten a date now, and you fall in category B, I will advise you to cancel and reapply for date using a much later date like March ending or even 1st of April. This is to give embassy enough time for all the processing. But make sure you have contacted your school about enrollment extension first o, or apply to another school that resumes in March/April as back up.

3. While you are waiting, start preparing in faith too. Learn small German, familiarize yourself with your coursework etc.

I wish everyone good luck.
. My sister that went there this December for category b interview only the black dread V.O was there she was the only student everywhere was dry.

Most people don’t listen when you advice them, this school is private institution and the embassy is talking about public institutions.. even if nahh scholarship he still no qualify..maybe too much English nahh make Hamm never understand.
. Abi now I tire oooo, all BSBI students booked category B especially this recent changes in Category A.

That's not an assurance.

My Lagos budget is #100k.

I can't just go on a futile journey. Are u sure about this
. Seriously I am not sure my brother as you can see that rules has changed especially with category A. The BSBI scholarship is just for tuition fee reduction only is not a full scholarship or partial scholarship. I don't want you to get to consulate and get bounced.

Mr coldie..u can go back to part 6 and part 5 of this thread and read interview transcript of scholarship students.. They don't go with block accounts, interview questions are waived and they don't pay visa fees..its as simple as that..
. Well since you have booked category A you have no problem go ahead and prepare.

But u are a student of BSBI.
yes because I did not book for category A I booked for category B in September and got a date. Since we have a scholarship discount you are good to go no fear go ahead.

I heard BSBI students are supposed to be under category A, as a result of the discount issue, which is smhw a scholarship. What do uthink
. I have no information regarding that but you can ask your admission coordinator I know every student that apply to Bsbi have scholarship discount so it is possible.

What if he doesn't get. Is the sum refundable
. That money is refundable, about this date issue people should have patience, most of the university in Germany will start in March and April and it will take German embassy 4 to 6 weeks to process your visa, they will begin to issue dates to category B very soon for sure, if he is highly motivated to go to BSBI he should pay that money and be positive. Just an advice anyway

Hi Everyone,

Please, I need assistance/advice on this school I am applying to in Germany but a bit skeptical because of the part payment of the tuition fee they're requesting before issuing an admission letter and some supporting documents.

The name of the school is Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI), please does anyone have any information about this school cos I'm kinda scared as the requested amount is a bit high (2,000 Euros) and I do not want to be a victim of (you know) which is why I am requesting for support from people that has enough information about the school to kindly assist with information necessary to help.

although, it was written on their website that a part payment of the tuition fee would be made on submission and confirmation of one's application. I did submit all the required documents and I got an email that an education support officer would get in touch either by a phone call or by email. I got an email requesting for some other documents and shortly after I received a call from a Nigerian number telling me he is a representative of the school (this somehow has been bothering my mind) because I never expected to have received a call from a Nigerian (was expecting one of their citizens to be the one to get in touch).

so Fam' please, I need someone to assist with necessary information about the school majorly about the payment of 2,000 Euros and the authenticity of the school. please ill appreciate your support and advice to help with my decision making.

Thanks a lot for the anticipated support.
if you can listen to my advice, I am also a student of BSBI, I have received my admission letter, receipt and accommodation support letter, I will advice you to accept this offer and pay to your admission officer in Germany follow his or her instruction, you have no problem don't waste your time negotiating it is not negotiable, but first of all before you pay any money, make sure you receive your unconditional admission offer with your student ID, because whenever you are sending them payment you will quote your student ID on your bank transfer transaction, ( Regarding interview date if you did not get any date for February intake you will get for may intake

Yes, am using the online form and I actually prefer it because there is a tool that explains every item, but not every explanation is clear and it will tell u the required fields. Both forms online & paper have same info so I won't disregard ur previous message, u were correct.

I observed the paper form don't have the barcode page that u must include in the application. How did u do it.
yes it is your choice you can choose the paper route or online route it depends on which one you prefer just make sure that you print the declaration form as well and sign it with date. What I did for my sister we use the paper application and I keep checking the online route for some details only, the barcode is just for the consulate to see what you filled both are ok it is up to you. Best of luck
