Properties / Re: What Types Of Slab Is These? To The Civil Engineers And Builders In The Forum. by Josephyeseni(m): 8:13am On May 02, 2021
najoe07:
As someone has rightly pointed, it reduces the volume of concrete, it sound proofs, temperature regulation due to the void in the concrete. It is worth to know that this type of slabs are very expensive and they use more reinforcement compared to flat slab. Hollow bricks can be used as well and the result is fantastic! Here is one I supervised. (Waffle slab or I call it insulated ribbed slab)
not advisable to use bricks, because the bricks still adds weight. Unlike the plastic balls that add little or no weight

Ok.....guys..... This is my contribution to the thread on the manifestation of events durin SSC course 47 screenin

Got to Falgore at exactly 11:32 AM, that place is one heck of a forest (no network)....(for d dssc guys, mk photocopies of ur docs -photoforms -school cert<pri, sec, tertiary>, origin, birth cert, bvn. One copy is enough). Documentation n issue of chest no. commenced right away. (You'll be stayin in tents so, kit up to fight cold... Any color of shoe n blue(jersey short) is allowed but, u must wear the stated requirement to face d board). After documentation, verification was carried out,( this will also contribute in elimination), then medicals (blood pressure, physical test <pile, flatfoot, dental, hernia etc>wink. Those with severe BP level were singled out, then, the almighty race commenced. We started with 10 km, then the next day, 20km b4 major gen j-boy suggested 30km (that evening, 5km was introduced). Sm days later, eviction kicked in...those With severe BP and over-aged candidates were sent home(this was saturday morning). Another set of 20km n 5km was carried out...also, somwhr along d line, the second wave of medicals commenced (blood test, ECG, urinalysis, xray)..….On the fateful morning of thursday 28th Jan, the result for that medicals was announced, this sent a lot of guys packing. Later that day, the aptitude test was written (in 3 paragragh, introduce ur family bckgrnd, ur course of study and how ur course can assist the military) (who won d last US election, name of operation carried against insurgency in northeast, official name of the training ground, name of army chief as at the time of exercise commencenent, meaning of AU etc). After that, a psycho exams was written, which we still later went for an oral psyco Exam (jst formalities). Then on friday, being today, we faced d board (i was asked to introduce self by d board chair, then offbook questions by board members, then, how my course can assist the army by the board chair), after that, i was at liberty to pack my kaya, then bade falgore goodbye
you reach see board nice . you are in already

With the info coming from Falgore, they accept University statement of result but that of NECO/WAEC isn't you must present originals.
Pls act accordingly whilst there is time.
. Attestation of result is #50,000 now. Was someone disqualified cos of SSCE statement of result?

I did mine in PH. I went with statement of result (SSCE), the officer was angry with me for not having the certificate. That was the only issue he had with me. Hope that wont disqualify me? Though, he later told me to go get the cert. Anyone with same experience?

Modikko:
Hello Everyone,
Incase people don’t know, this is how Virtual Test/Exams work.
Before you are allowed access to the exams questions, you will be asked to verify yourself using any means of identification that carries your picture and other particulars such as date of birth and so on. Upon doing that, you will be required to turn on your laptop camera and stand for it to capture your face.
Then you will be asked to leave your camera on and mic on.
All these are to curb cheating and every movement is monitored, every background noise is also monitored.
For those that want to cheat and cut corners better be careful not to waste your chances of golden opportunity.
It is better to write and fail than to be disqualified because of cheating.
Those setting this exams are not fools. They know that people will think towards cheating.
A word is enough for the wise.
All the best to everyone writing the exams
NB: For those writing Virtually, it is better to use Laptop or go to a good Cafe and use their services.
Using phones or tablets may not be easy and has it’s own limitations
have you had an experience?
