quote author=TheGuyFromHR post=113333306] You can look for a zero hours flexitime job. Something like the Royal Mail/NHS Professionals bank kind of thing where you are not bound to work at specific times and book shifts you want which fit your availability (maybe night/twilight shifts in your case, if you have children). Second, if your husband is going to be doing domiciliary care, obviously housing location doesn't really matter because the clients could be anywhere. Roll the dice and look for a house anywhere, preferably as central (or not too out of the way) in your city as you can get in this harsh rental market (for your own future commuting). For example, think somewhere central like Maryland, Gbagada or Surulere in Lagos. Regarding a car, it's entirely up to you what you buy. Fireworks were thrown about quite a few pages back regarding the desirability or not of buying a cheap old banger as a new arrival - you decide what you want to buy, you can either buy something within the loan amount or nothing stops you from adding money on top of the loan amount to buy a preferably better car than what the loan amount could fetch. It's your call.
Thank you. Let me search for those kind of jobs and be busy for now until his job is stable. |
mex551:Alright, would do just that. Thank you |
Good morning everyone. I have been a silent reader. Please I'm a bit confused. My husband came in to uk as a sponsored worker. His boss has his clients far away from the office and wants all his staff to have a car. If you can't afford he gives you a loan which will be deducted only for a few months. Now, people are rushing to buy a car they don't like because you must not exceed a particular amount the boss gave on loan. Also, if you don't have a car you will not be giving a shift. I am helpless because I don't know where we can decide to get an accommodation since he hasn't been given any job until he buys a car. Also I can't work because his work plan is not settled yet. Waking up and not knowing what to do every morning. Please house what can we do on this case? |
winzy:I sent you mail. Please reply |
obitryce:please how much do you have |

Good morning house. I have naira want to change pounds too oo |
For those asking how long it takes to get COS. Just take your mind off it. I advice you channel your time in applying to other organizations until you receive COS then you can stop applying just to keep you busy and not appear desperate to your employer. I got mine in a week. My friend got her in 4 days. I also heard some received in a month or even more. So you will not be depressed just pray more for speed and favour so your organization that offered you employment will attend to yours as urgent. |
Date of Visa application. 28th March Biometrics 29th the next date Got collection mail on 13th of April. quote author=Agatha250 post=112553541]
|
I applied around that period and mine came out two days before Easter. So, maybe visit their office, call or send emails to find out reason for the delay. quote author=santos247 post=112547464]Hello house, Has anyone (or you know anyone who) submitted work/study visa from Mid march and got a visa or waiting for outcome? I want to have idea of the turnaround time. The standard work visa is 15 working days but there has been delays. I just want to have an idea of how long the delays have been.
|
Call their numbers and tell them you would love to work with them. They no longer have time to read thousands of emails sent by millions of people. quote author=CeeCyrils post=112489306]Good day house. Please I'm trying to understand all these 'unfortunately' response. It's demoralizing o! What am I getting wrong? I have been careful not to apply when eligibility is in bold. I have amended my CV after a review by an expert. I have gotten online care certification from Alison. I got an overall band 7.0 score in IELTS UKVI general test. I am doing internship at a care home and at a hospital. Infact, I have over stressed myself. Yet, every morning, I will receive 'unfortunately' for most of my overnight random applications. Please somebody should help my ministry naah! I must go o! |

Used it on Monday and payment was successful. Yettiesbiz: |
Hello dear. My status is now in progress. I hope you got a response too. Rotma: |
My payment was received and receipt acknowledged. I didn't attach the medium of instruction. I wrote a statement that i was thought in English language not knowing it must come from my school. cyberknoz: |
Same here.. Wondering if I didn't do the right thing. Did you add medium of instruction from your school? Rotma: |
