The governor made this on Tuesday evening after the State Executive Council meeting with stakeholders in the educational sector. The governor explained that the decision is necessary in order not to truncate the educational sector.

At the executive council meeting, the government set new guidelines for the reopening of schools and other educational activities in the state.

They canceled the Third Term for 2019/2020 academic calendar and agreed that students will be promoted base on First and Second Terms performance.

The graduating students, Primary Six Pupils, Junior and Senior Secondary Students who are currently going to school would take a short break on July 30 and resume back when the central government announces a new date for WAEC.

The Basic Education Certificate Examination and Competitive Entrance Examination are scheduled to hold in August.

SSS3 students will return for their final examination after the federal government and WAEC reached agreement on the date for the examination.

The first term for the new academic sessions will begin September 21, 2020, and ends December 18, the second term begins January 11 and ends April 9 and the third term begins May 3 and ends July 30.

This is the value of opposition. Thinking well and set the pace for others to follow if they like. If SS3 takes their exams in September this year, WAEC would have forfeited only the stream 2 of its 3 stream cycle. It means it would go back to normalcy and hold next year's school exam by May/June. The only way the schools can align is to start 1st term for next year in September and that is in line with this Oyo state arrangements. Kudos.



However, someone Nigerians are not happy with the governor's decision, this is what they are saying below.

"I'm beginning to unlike this Governor as he is very good at playing to the gallery. Why must he make such a ludicrous decision while the spread of the corona virus keeps increasing? Do you think the federal govt doesn't know what it's going? The safety of lives must come first for any responsible leader."

"wait a minute, is Oyo state a country of its own? why this governor refused to work in tandem with govt. at the center? the state is still among the states with the highest cases of the pandemic. probably the figure from the state is not the true reflection of happenings there."

"For me am not in support of the plan, this man just looking for recognition. believe it or not, COVID 19 is real but out of ignorance and poverty on the ground. but he as a governor knows better. why Open school and can't he follow the Federal government directive. Let him go and conduct the Waec for Oyo State."

Happy Sunday to you all.. wishing you a month of healing to the whole world...i wiil be shelding more lights on Giving Thanks unto God.. the Bible says , in every situation, always give thanks to God..This trying times , the world is battling with pandemic, just give thanks to God , for keeping you and your family saves..
The Bible says in PSALM 100:4 "Enter into his gates with thanks giving and into his courts with praise.
There are two basic reasons for which we can praise God:
1.For who he is - truth about God's nature and character.
2.For what he has done, gift , blessings , protection and answers to prayer, e.t.c
1.i can tell you something right now, brethren , praising God everyday for who He is will change your life for good.. Because, this time around, U don't need to ask for anything ,other than , praising and giving thanks to your God..over your life , your family , and your society, .I want you to increase your Thanksgiving percentage in your prayers... because through the last four months ,God's anger is on the world,..many life's were claimed..but you are alive is worthy of praise..
You can also thank God for being the TRUTH " Lord I praise you for being so Faithful and true. I can always trust of your word..it will never fail..in your truth is freedom, and I can walk in that wonderful liberty today.
*Also praise the Lord for what he has done. There are some past blessings for which we just can't thank the Lord enough..we keep thanking him over and over again.. that is wonderful to do, but also keep up to date.
CONCLUSION: pick out something special that God did in your life yesterday for which to praise him. That will keep our prayer and praise life , bright and fresh...

U can offer your bodies unto the Lord by kneeling down , if you can't , you sit before the Lord in a humble heart..it is good to kneeling down when we can. In this way ,we can show our desire to humbly submit and offer ourselves to God...
There are many ways of offering our bodies to God...By also dancing, before the Lord.. with a heart fill with praise and Joy...
Also , the scripture also tell us by raising our head and lift our hand unto the Lord...clap your hands , all you people, and shout to the Lord, with a voice of victory (Psalm 47:1)..

Good morning brothers and sisters ..
PRAYER is the key this time around, but since this lockdown had started, How many of us have prayed for our Country, Because , This time around , our prayer life supposed to wake up...must of us , can gist fee for almost a day , talk and chat on our mobile phones so hours...but we can't pray for ordinary 4Hours, Praying in the spirit ..but after 30 minutes of Praying , we start complaining, We can't carry power that way... What God's shows me , is that , his anger is on the world , our sins are too much, the blood of the innocent are revenging..., All churches , Mosques are closed, our Economy is diminishing, the Authority is bought down...Hear unless we return back to God...Pray in the spirit , ask for God to intervene .. Because No one can help us out , except For God almighty..
Isaiah 7:7... Let pray in FAITH , together and am sure heaven will answer....We must not loose hope , but Gear our self up in Serious Prayer....
CONCLUSION: I want you to be Faithful to your self , don't deceive your self, as at 10AM Today , Cry unto the Lord , pray, pray , in the spirit, because Your prayer can change things for the country, don't downgrade Your prayer, they can go Far , To save the world, please pray , if Just 30 minutes , please fufill the prayer ...

The cross has won great freedom for us..
1.. FREEDOM FROM SATAN:
And having disarmed the powers and authority, he made a public spectacle of them , triumphing over them by the cross..
2.. FREEDOM FROM PAST SIN:

IF you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, the Lord is listening for your prayer . So before you do anything else , find a place alone with God where you will not be disturbed..Get on your knees and ready to pray to the Lord...ask for forgiveness of sin ..tell him to come to your heart,. Believe that he died on the cross and Rose on the third day...pray with heart ...and you will be saved..

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF FAITH..
"Every one who acknowledge me before men, I also will acknowledge before my father who is in heaven: but whoever denies me before men , I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32,33)..
The New Testament teaches that the First way a new believer is to acknowledge his new found Faith in Christ is by being baptized in water..
We have already seen in the New Testament, examples that baptism was no secret things, but an open , bold testimony before others..This public acknowledgement and testimony strengthen our faith and determination to Follow Christ.. The Lord does not want secret, weak , Fearful disciples..This is one reason why he has commanded believers to " be baptized"....to acknowledge him before men... build your Faith in Christ and look on him through consistent PRAYER , and fasting...

PRIDE: THE ESSENCE OF SIN.
Symptoms of pride..
1. I'M MORE IMPORTANT:: Thinking certain people or Jobs are " beneath your dignity "
Or thinking you are more important than others because you have a place of leadership..
2.I WANT TO BE SERVED: accepting special honor as a leader and being served by others rather than devoting your self to serving them..
3.I'M THE BEST: Paul warn us against thinking more highly of ours than we ought to think...( Roman 12:3).. Pride is beginning to dominate us if we esteeme ourselves more highly than we ought..
These and other similar trait warn us that we have been poisoned by that subtle sin , pride..
God hates pride , because it is essence of sin . Satan fell because of pride.
Your heart was filled with pride , because of all your beauty... Therefore I have cast you down..(Ezekiel 28 :17).
Eve fell because Satan's appeal to her pride ....ye shall be as ELOHIM (GOD).. Genesis 3:5...pride brings our certain downfall ...pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall..(proverb 16: 18)...
PRIDE IS DANGEROUS : pride is dangerous because it is subtle ..pride is like a weed among the crops..it will grow and take over if we don't take a positive action to prevent it...
PRIDE IS A DESTROYER..
CONCLUSION: curb the habit of pride, Because God hates pride a lot..it always lead to Man's downfall..and stay close to God..

A SALVATION PRAYER
Dear lord Jesus , I receive you as my Lord and savior. I open the door of my heart to you , and ask you to come in and live in me I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead . I am sorry for my sins and truly repent. By your help and by your spirit, I will seek. to live a life which is pleasant to you . AMEN.
If you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and if you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, then you will be saved..(Roman 10:9)
Now , go and tell someone , "I have just received Jesus as my Lord and savior"!!!

Accept Jesus today , because tomorrow might be too late...

1.. REALIZE YOU ARE A SINNER.
The Bible says all have sin and come short the glory of God (Roman 3:23)...if we say the we have no sin,we are deceiving our self...hence commit your sin unto God and he will accept you today..
2.TRULY BE SORRY FOR YOUR SIN AND REPENT OF YOUR SIN.....
and the publican , standing afar off , would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven , but smote upon his breast , saying, God is merciful to me ,a sinner.. .(Luke 18:13) ..." For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation"( 2Cor.7:10)..
3.CONFESS YOUR SIN TO GOD..
One who covers sin shall not prosper but whoever confess and forsakes them shall have mercy (prov.28:13)..
IF we confess our sin to God , he is Faithful and just to forgive us our sins , and to cleanse us from all righteous..(1john1:9)
4. FORSAKE YOUR SINS
Let the wicked forsake their way, and the unrighteous their thoughts, and let them return unto the Lord , and he will have mercy upon them for he will abundantly pardon...(Isaiah 55:7).. whoever confess and forsakes sin shall have mercy (prob.28:13)..
5.ASK FOR FORGIVENESS OF SIN..
Who forgives all your iniquities (
Psalm 103:3) and Isaiah 1: 18..
6.BELIVE THAT GOD SAVES YOU BY HIS GRACE..
7.CONCENCRATE your entire life to Christ..

A.words are powerful: words have feeling and meaning, and are very powerful for good or evil. They can hurt or heal .they can bring joy or sadness. They can build up or tear down. They can minister love or fear -life or death.
Sometimes words may have little effect other than to waste time.."but I say unto you , that every idle word that men shall speak , they shall give account, therefore in the day of Judgement"..(. matt.12:36)

Topic: DON'T BE DECEIVED

Deception is believing something is right when it is wrong . 1John 1:7-10 tell us that as long as we walk in the light of God's love and truth, the blood of Jesus keeps on cleansing us from sin...it also says "if we say we have no sin ,we deceive ourselves this same beautiful scripture goes on to say , "But if we confess our sins, he is Faithful to forgive and cleanse us"..

You are not a sinner because you are
a prostitute ,a smoker, a murderer, a liar, ,
a fornicator..
Because EVERY MAN ON EARTH IS BORN AS SINNER... therefore it is your choice to become righteous and not... For no sinner shall dwell with Jesus on the last day ..
All sinners shall perish...is better to change your way today, accept lord as your savior, and stay away from sin... For all men have sin and come short the glory of God....Now brethren,
A. There are three areas for Deception..

1.)we have no sin .: Thinking we have no sin which to be forgiven
2.)We don't need to confess:, Thinking if we sin , God will either overlook it ,or forgive us even if we don't face it or tell him about it..
3.) We won't be Forgiven: Thinking we cannot , or with not be forgiven even when we do not confess our sins..

B. Deception spoils fellowship.
If we are deceive in any one of the three areas our fellowship with God will be spoiled..will would find it hard to pray, praise and worship God...
God's word won't bring the Joy and peace it once did,..it will be hard for us to look full into the face of our Lord..we may try to act everything is alright..but deep inside us..we know something is wrong...
..:Those who believe that they never sin at all , keep on having problem in there ways ..cause c by there sins..but they don't now why they have them...and started looking for false prophets here and there...
Some people love prophecies like sugar, if your pastor never prophecies into your life..he no be sound pastor...if they never prophecies for your church..the church no be your church...why..!!!…if you stay away from sin.. problem is solved..

C.Be sensitive to the Spirit..: in our morning devotion, we can decide to tell God, we have no desire to be decieve during the day..we really want to walk in his light of his love and truth..we want to feel his presence with us all the time...in this way we can obey and Serve him with gladness of heart...

CONCLUSION: don't be decieve any more..try to curb off your sin acts...stay away from sin ...decide to be righteous as from today and your life shall turn New in God...
PRAYER: Father Lord , thanks be to your house name for your words ,you have sent through your servant..I pray the power to stay away from sin and walk in your way ..grant it unto us in Jesus name.. AMEN..

VERSE OF THE DAY: Psalm 37 ,5-7 says commit your way unto the Lord , Trust in him and he will bring it to pass..Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him to act..
