Bro, how about some offshore locations that treat their waste with bacteria tablet only, the waste is then sent to another chamber before being pumped into the sea, this is a common practise and it meets international environmental regulations. Is that what you term a central sewage system? Cos the same bacteria occur naturally in the soil which I guess it's the reason people don't add it to soakaway at home

@op you can only get these kind of safety improvements initiatives in the oil and gas sector and some few manufacturing firms not indian/lebanese/nigerian companies, those ones don't budget for safety cos applying safety principles is very expensive but of course life becomes more expensive if someone dies while @work with litigation, bad image etc.

Cement strength is usually compromised when it sets faster than normal though good for business a turnover

There is no too much difference between the different brand of ordinary Portland cement in Nigeria. The major reason while dangote is preferred is the fact that it can't be adulterated easily.

You can as well read up on the '' physico-chemical classification of Nigeria cement ''

And why do you think other cement can be adultereated easily; they all operate in the same market/environs so expose to same kind of sharp practices

For now, I prefer the Elephant supaset. (Orange label) I have found it to bond quicker and the compressive strength I get is satisfactory.

Cement strength is determined by the ability to meet its desired compressive strenght measured after 2days, 7days and 42days, within a required setting time, Dangote 32.5 sets a bit faster which means little gypsum was added while grinding the clinker and as such compromises it's strength although in terms of commercial value, the block makers/builders love the reduced setting time cos of turnover.

There's a set time for proper hydration of cement which lafarge doesn't want to compromise that's why the cement sets a little longer but on the long run its stronger

There's something called freelime that also has to be considered in cement strength but won't go into that

Planning is everything, don't be cheap (kidding)
Get a plan, preferably done by your electrical contractor/ whover will be doing the installation. rub minds, and create your unique plan. don't settle for some random copy & paste job.

If your drawings will not be going for approval, I think 50k is okay

Electrical design for a five bedroom flat is not compulsory but the advantage that it gives superseed whatever financial strain it may cause you.

I will advice you to heed to his advance and have an electrical design prepare for the house because it will make his job easier and will help avert any problem in future

For my courtyard-bungalow I have an electrical plan but for my garage-apartment my electrician and I freestyled it to my taste.

Hello house, please am at the decking stage of my build and my engineer is insisting I get an electrical diagram for the 5bed duplex to do the electrical conduit pipe work. Is the drawing compulsory cos that's a separate charge for me. Thanks
