am not talking of building a team around messi. I mean messi fitting into there current set up
Oga let's look at it from another angle

Leicester paying 100 million euros to get messi and at the end of the day messi would sit on the bench ??

I laugh in Swahili

Taiye Taiwo was one of our best ever left backs. If he can still cut it then he should be given a chance. After all how old was Maldini before he retired.

For those who have forgotten him the video below should remind you of what we are missing. One thing is clear is that the present crop of new breed are far behind the so called old group.

Ibadan is worse than Abeokuta. Go to places like mapo, Bere, oke ado, popo yemoja, oojo, sabo, you will know what original slum is. I bet you if you stay in Bere for a week you can fall sick and be admitted. Reason been that in the whole of Bere, 95% of the houses don't have toilets and they are so compacted to each other like sardine grin

Tammy Abraham is a good striker even though he scores a lot of scrappy goals. It is a talent to be at the right place all the time. I will like to see him at a higher level before any call-up.
goal na goal

he deserves a call up in our next game

Thanks. With the way Lookman is going, do you see England giving him a call-up. I think I need to go and watch him today. If I do, I will give a detailed feed back.

Talk about realism, Cameroun are 6 times Africa champions, more world cup appearances and a better world resume than us, confederations cup finalists, Olympic gold medalists just like us.
I don't see the reason why Nigerians are too proud and pompous when talking about this Camerounians and the double headers in August.

The bravado and tone in the language I see from people here whenever Cameron is mentioned is what I cannot understand. Its unreal.
hmmmm

so we should be scared of Cameroon ? I don't think so

my happiness is that the first leg is in uyo
once we get the 3 points in uyo the rest will fall in place

keep calm

A welcome addition if the said reports are true. I've watched him closely more than a couple of times.
From my observations, he has a lovely first touch. Infact his first touch is a stuff of dreams. He has decent skills, just enough to get past his marker(s), good close control, surprisingly decent pace for a big man and decent with headers. He reminds me of Kluivert.
However, the down side of his game is his shooting and positioning. His shooting could be a little bit way ward at times, his strength and conditioning needs to improve as well, although that's not a flip side because those little details will improve as he comes of age.
One for the future.
hmmmm

will rohr unleash him against Cameroon?

time will tell

Tega would probably say yes is he ready for Eagles I don't know.

But I think Aino (Chelsea) as a wing back is, there should be consideration for the other Tega at Tottenham in midfield. I am more impressed with Ololomola at Southampton, but saying that Solanke at Chelsea (Striker) is a good prospect too.

Ibe at Bournemouth seems to be non starter he is disengaged from the Nigerian situation.
sorry but I don't think there is space for the Tottenham guy (onomah) and solanke in the super eagles @ the moment we can only afford to cap Abraham, aina and maybe lookman

the rest should prove themselves and wait for their time
