Ligue 1 is often called 'farmers league', where PSG dominates. Brazilian league was worse. Santos were like Man city playing school boys(maybe exaggerated).

This isn't bad actually. It's a pretty decent lineup. Dembouz can be a super sub for trincao, pedri can be for Grizz/fati, MB for Grizz too and then my wish, Puig and Alena for FDJ and Pjanic

I'll rather Start Pedri /Puig ahead of Griezmann.

It'll even be fine if Messi plays AM and Braithwaite starts up front. Our no. 9 is quite strong and decent too.

But it's Real Madrid. And despite their recent poor form, they are still Real Madrid with all of their starting line up top internationals and proffesssionals.

They are not Real Mallorca.

Every of their player in the starting line up played with the team last season and won the league title.
Zidane their coach was also with them last season.


What about us?

We had in our starting line up, Pedri, Fati, Coutinho, Dest, who weren't in the team last season; and we had a new coach.

And like I've said a million times that was only week 5 of the season.

This team will do well; they need some time to gel and become a team.

A 'new' team doesn't just come and beat Real Madrid as if they are Levante; and then when you thought they had a chance, we concede a penalty.

Did you notice what happened after the penalty?
We completely dominated the game for almost the remaining half until they were able to exploit the space that has emerged at the back.

That midfield pairing need players more determined and skilled, IMO alena(shooting, forward play & pressing), Puig(creativity & pressing) and pjanic(deadballs, creativity & shooting) offers 10x than what busquet & dejong offers, and will make Messi’s job far more easier

As for coutinho, he’s only playing every match due to the likeness Clownman has for him, dude missed a simple header from fati’s cross that should have given barce the lead, and ended up offering little to the team.

I'm kinda disappointed in De Jong too. I was expecting a super midfielder, but, he's just a decent player. We don't even know his role. Is a free midfielder? Or what?
That midfield lacks pace and intensity. No pressing. No creativity.

The wings too have been left dormant. Because Koeman is either fielding wrong players there or benching the right players.

Look at those teams. They have super fast wingers, and deadly finishers. And midfielders who are super solid defensively and push forward. They've got full backs who attack like crazy and supply crosses. Their ultra pressing style cracks opponents open.
