thanks for your responses n encouragement. yes I do back him or rock him to sleep on my arms. pple started passing comments like I av trained him with backing, he should be sleeping on his own etc n I decided to ask whether its normal. I also thought he was too young.

how do you make your baby sleep easily. I don't know if this is normal. my three months baby cries n cries anytime he feels sleepy. I just think he should b able to fall asleep on his own without need for drama n trial whether its back or rocking on the hand.can't remember him falling asleep on his own by putting him on the bed in the past three weeks. is this OK? if not, how do I train him to sleep on his own n easily. I really hope he changes.

at what age or weight do babies use midi size diaper. Pampers mini became too small for him but when I tried Huggies midi it was too big. till I got Huggies mini which is ok . someone told me Huggies stretches well that's why. I am considering changing to Prince n princesses or dry love, wanna ask mamas using them whether they stretch well like Huggies. otherwise maybe I consider midi size.

I don't have answers to all your questions. But for Ela, mix baby tribotan or mycoten cream (basically any clotrimazole or fungal cream) with ori (cos the baby's skin is still very tender and these creams are said to be too strong for them) and apply on it consistently. It should go soonest.

If you are doing exclusive bf I doubt your baby can have jedijedi. even for formula fed babies too I don't think so. I don't know the signs you saw that made you think your baby has that. if it's plenty gas or crying while passing gas, babies are more prone to such.

as for when to take the baby out, it depends on you and where you are going. you can decide on whether it will stresss the baby, consider the means of transportation esp if its public transport n if d baby is strong enough both physically n d immune sys for all the touching and carrying because in this naija na so so carrying n touching babies almost everywhere u go. on a second thought it also depends on ur job o. not everyone get long mart leave

Pls do not massage it no matter how lightly. It will become soft on its own. When my son took d penta, same thing happened but I just left it like that and everything was ok. I kno some pple apply ori but even if just apply it annd there should be no form of massage. Pele he ll be fine

is your son taking formular or its ebf. if u are breastfeeding try eating lots of veggies n fruits. it helps and has impact on baby poo. constipation is common wit babies fed with formula. if u are using formula increase the water content n also give them plenty water to drink

Hello mamas, how are your little ones.

Took my baby for ten weeks immunisation on wed. he took penta 2 on his thigh.I noticed the spot is very hard and darker than the surrounding skin. I didn't rub it after he was given though hr bled a little and it was cleaned.
pls what do I do? I have gotten different advices. some say just apply ori, another a cold compress and massage others that I should do nothing.

what I have done so far is apply towel soaked in cold water and then light massage with ori or mentholatum. am I doing it right? pls I need advice esp from mamas that have experienced this with this penta.

Honestly I dont know. I never went into labor. I had a planned CS.

I don't see any use for a sitzbath after a CS since there was no cut in the vagina. I didn't do one. Even with a vaginal delivery with the type of materials used for suture sitzbath is not advisable cos the suture can break and lead to open wound.

When I had my first baby I flowed so much, I got worried. Now I realised I was unknowingly pressing my hands on the other side while baby was suckling. Lol. My pads were always full and cloth soaked. So check and see if your hand is leaning on the other side. I know must pads are they same. I used mother care disposable too it didn't stop d " over flow" till I found what I was doing wrong.

I use tommy tipee disposable pads. Applying pressure using d opp hand also works for me

Hello Mamas, how are you and your bundle(s) of joy?

Want to ask about breast pads. I bough Avent disposable (6 in a park) but I realised that it is probably not absorbentenough for me or maybe I am the one leaking too much. My bra and cloth still gets wet and I mean super wet on the other breast once my baby is sucking. This is highly embarrassing especially now that I have started going out.

Any suggestions as to good breast pads? I have not tried the disposables though cos I think its an expensive option in the long run.

A friend advised that I put pressure on the second breast, it hasn't stopped serious leaking the few times I tried it.

I am a new mum and just realised I need a rocker or bouncer but would like clarification on some issues especially from experienced people.

1.what is the difference between a rocker and a bouncer? which would you advice I get. I need something that can make my baby sleep easily and probably also keep him busy in his wakeful.moments.
2. how long do babies use them or how soon do they outgrow them?
3. read somewhere about a three in one including swing.not sure i even understand what that is. where can i get one.
4.from your experience, please can you suggest a good,durable and safe one and where i can get one.saw some on konga.com.i don't stay in lagos.i do not mind ordering and paying on delivery.otherwise if anyone has an idea of where to get one in ado please let me know.

thanks. i finally figured the bbm issue out. i was teh one doing it wrongly. instead of tapping on the part that should be clicked, i was tapping on the terms and conditions and that is why it was taking me to the website to read it.

1.Is there any way to import contacts from an old phone to techno P5, say via bluetooth. it is quite a task having to input my contacts one after the other on this p5 from my old phone.
2. Another alternative is to synchronise fbk contacts with that of the phone. I tried for gmail and it worked but seems it does not do the same for fbk contacts such that I can have their contact details reflect on the phone
3. how do I get good airtel browsing plan that would be cheap and affordable eg using airtel bis on my android. I normally use mtn...but it is expensive using mtn data to browse with android (or is it possible for to use their bis on android?). Glo and Etisalat networks are not good in my area, I would have preferred either of the two.

Ok. I went to the sd card to try to play the videos. .dat files were said to be unsupported. .flv files played just audio, no video showed.
so what types of files are supported by the video player? otherwise can you recommend a type of video player for me to download that can play all video files?

No2 answer: It is absolutely normal as it take a while to load recently added videos with that built in video player... Goto settings>> Apps>> All>> Locate video player and clear the data now go back and open the video player and you should see your videos.

No3 Answer: That too is also normal, as mine didn't come with any game either... you can goto the playstore and download a couple of games like, temple run, subway surfers et all.

Q1: On the app there were two things I was to click to accept terms. the first clicked and went on. the second was accept bb terms n conditions which when I click it, it takes me to open the terms and conditions using a web browser and that was why i used opera. I can't remember now but I think that when I tried to click just the first one, it said I still had to accept the second (the BB terms and conditions)
Q2: i followed your instructions. There is nothing to clear in the video player app setting. this is my first time of trying to use it . it is not reading any video at all and under the app setting, all there is ithe 4.00kb which is the size of the app itself. s the clear data tab is faint since there is no data there. so what do i do now?i really would like to use it to watch videos

I just got a techno P5 and I am having some issues would like your advice:

1. I tried to create a BB pin, it referred me to accept the terms and conditions of BB on the BB website (which I opened with Opera) but there was no place on the web page where I could click 'accept' so it just opened the terms and conditions and I could go no further. I tried this three times. So how do I successfully generate a BB pin?

2. I transferred some video files (which I would normally play with vlc media player on my laptop) to the memory card of the phone with the aim of watching them on the video player of the phone but the video player keeps saying there are no videos on the SD card? Is it that the videos are not in the correct format or what?

3. I noticed that no games at all came with the phone. I find that a little strange since I think a phone should at least come with one or two games by default. How do I download other games?
