Joyousf, I bought the two, but that is because it was my first baby and I knew others coming behind him would use it too. If it's your 1st baby, and you can spare the cash, you can buy both as they have different uses.

I put my baby in the seat while cooking, or even when she's tired of lying down; that way, both of us are occupied
you have a point ma. thanks for the advice. I'd consider that as well. how is the family.

experienced mamas abeg I need ur advice on d type of walker to buy. I checked Konga and saw two main types.
1. The first one has seat and I am guessing that will help children learn to sit. My baby is just about 4 and a half months so I guess its more suitable but I am guessing that as soon as he can sit or crawl its goodbye to this type of walker.
2. activity walker: which is probably suitable for a child learning to walk.

So my question is does he really need the sitting one to learn how to sit? If he doesn't I'll just wait and by the second or do I need the two?

Thanks.

It's only done in general hospitals.
I use a state hospital o. I've been to two immunisation centres both owned by govt and its same story: no immunization at six months

there is oh.i took my baby for 6months immunization at general hospital and she was given vit a.just vit A.
please where are u based? here after 14 weeks immunisation the next is nine months o. I specitycally asked for vit a at the hospital n I was told they no longer give it routinely except during health week when they will go from house to house yet they couldn't tell me when the next health week will hold.

if its just a supplement in capsule form like I've read here can't one buy it from a pharmacy?

yes, I hope it does.
Though I stay few kilometers away from Ado Ekiti, so stuffs like these are very scarce here and Konga/Jumai takes forever to deliver
if you know someone in Ado that can take delivery for you, Konga has an office there and they deliver fast to Ado.

happy Sunday to u. pls how does one recognise the good ori/Shea butter oil. the last one I used was white in color. the recent one is yellowish. didn't notice the diff til I got home. does the color matter?

secondly, I read here that ori n coconut oil are good for baby's skin. my Lo is big n also sweats a lot n using any of those seem to make him sweat more n sometimes encourages aleefo or small rashes with tiny white dots which I think is caused by heat. so most times I use powder. yet his skin could look so dry with using just powder and no cream. what can I do pls?

lastly I know alefo leaves some scars that should disappear with time but some scars on his chest n back av refused to go. they are just there lighter than his skin tone. is there anything I can use to even up the tone. it doesn't look like eczema to me but I don't mind treating him for that just in case...so wat do I apply.

Good evening house. Please I need urgent assistance.
Am confused, I don't know if to continue with EBF or go back to formula.
I ve tried so much to boost my breastmilk, I take plenty of fluid, eat everything I can lay my hands on.
Please has anyone experienced this before. I need your advice on the way forward so I don't fall into depression cos I don't find it easy breastfeeding for up to 3uninterru.
maybe you should not totally stop the formula till u can have a very good flow.like others advised try to take hot stuffs: pap.tea.amala n some say pounded yam n eat well .I also started with formula but stopped after one n half week. ideally the more u put your baby to breast the more you should flow. you can also try pumping every two hours or three hours. u can also massage ur chest down to the breasts with something like ori. the idea is just to create warmth n allow milk flow. u can also try tying a wrapper firmly above your breast to create some pressure.

if all these still don't work, just continue with the formula.I believe ur baby will still b healthy n great. most of our mums didn't do ebf.

I wish u d best

I think your baby is fine. Babies are different and achieve milestones at their own pace not by all these record time keepers. So far he/she has some level of control at 3 months, I think it's okay. As they grow older the neck will be firmer between 4-5 months. I don't think a 3 months old baby can have it all together perfectly.

abeg make una help me o. I'm a nursing mum. my baby had this bacterial skin infection that looks like blisters with pus inside which Yoruba pple call 'alefo'. someone advised that I burst it with needle n use cotton wool to dab off the pus so it doesn't spread.unfortunately while doing that the needle pricked me. since then I av been battling with boils for almost two months now. I've used ampiclox even bought Beecham and chymotrycin or so to no avail. don't want to use antibiotics again cos I heard too much of it s bad for d body. I. just resorted to taking a multivitamin though I eat well.
pls wat else can I do? I initially thought its d normal boil that comes n goes but once one bursts n its over another one sprouts somewhere else. d thing don tire me o

Someone told me today that there is a new vaccine replacing OPV called IPV which is given by injection. Also another new vaccine she said was called B.. something she could not remember the name. she told me they were told in their immunisation centre in the hospital. I haven't heard this. Please has anyone heard about these? If so, when are they taken?

hello mums pls I want to ask a question,i don't if this practice is common to a part of this country.something about cutting a part of the tongue to help with speech. have anyone heard a thing like that?
Please please DON'T!!!!!
What part of the country is that? The tongue is a very delicate and important organ. People die from even bleeding too much from a severe cut to the tongue. I have never heard of this before. It means there are millions of people that never undertook that procedure and speak eloquently well. Don't do that to your baby pls or whoever it is for

sis,it depends on your baby's size... For instance I was using prince and princess mini from d onset for my baby all of sudden I noticed to wear d diaper for him became war,so I decided to go for. p and p midi and is a bit bigger for him,so I Dos ones, bought dry love mini...chai..! over small dey worry am.. I finally bought dry love midi and its exactly his size,my baby will b four months next week,so it depends on their sizes... I hope this helps..!
thanks. will consider dry love midi or retain d Huggies snug n dry mini. I would confirm his weight and see. though it didn't matter for the Pampers mini. it was too small despite the fact that he hadn't reached the upper weight limit then
