Mamas please I need instructions on how to prepare soya beans into milk.

Okay, the thing is I already prepared the ogi and was advised to add soya to it. So I bought the soya beans and I have soaked it already. I want to make it into milk and then mix with the ogi and refreeze it and if it's too much I hope other adult members of my family can drink it as well.

Please o... I have soaked for 24 hours already.
Thanks

At 11 months no need for infant car seat, just buy the convertible (forward facing). Graco and Chico are good brands but expensive, just buy anyone that looks ok to you, as long as the child is belted in he will be fine
Thanks ma, please how expensive are they cos the prices I dey see for jumia are beyond my budget o!

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I have been here...now I have plenty backlogs to read smiley

Meanwhile my nanny will be off for the christmas holiday and is not even sure she will be back next year so I need to buy a car seat for my baby. He is 11 months already and is tall and also not too slim. Please I need recommendations on which good car seat to buy and also the price range. I am thinking he has outgrown infant car seat or will not use it for long or so. Please just educate me as I never buy am before

And for those that reside in Ado, I'd appreciate if you can recommend a place to buy one. Thanks

do u min d feedin botle should b soaked 4 24hrs? Pls throw more lite on ds.
Is it wrong 2 use normal mornin fresh n sponge used 2 wash plates ordinarily 2 wash d botles, cos dats wot i ve bn doin?
if you are referring to the Milton tab you don't have to soak for 24 hours. just using fifteen minutes is sufficient to sterilise. you can leave the stuffs inside n use and return if you want

morning fresh to Wash is OK. but have a separate sponge for ur baby's things n also a bottle brush is usually more convenient n can reach where ur hand can't.
washing is different from sterilization o. you need to sterilize after washing to kill any germs. you can use hot water too for sterilisation.the Milton tab is for cold water sterilization

Get a small bucket, I used the one that came with his bat set and buy Milton sterilizing tablet, it's about 600 max. You use just one tablet for 24hours. Good luck
in addition please measure d litres of d bucket. one tablet is for 5litres. my own small bucket is around 3litres so I fill with 2.5l n use half a tab.
since ur baby is still small u can adhere to the twenty four hours daily instruction. that gives maximum protection.
but as he builds more immunity u can increase d number of days to max of a week o. (if interested in cutting costs. but make sure ur baby s around that six months to be sure he has some immunity before thinking along this line o)

Sabi mamas in the house I hail o, how are our LO's? Please I need advice on baby walker, I was discouraged by my sister initially cos of accidents n all but my DS is on the very big side (10.6kg) and now very very restless he is exactly 5 months moro

Please i want to hear views from experienced mama on the best kind of walker to get for him. Thanks everyone
the main reason I think pple discourage walkers is cos ur baby is so mobile n can lead to accidents so u really have to watch your baby well n d environment. but personally I think its OK. my baby enjoys his time in it. though they need to be carried out from time to time n allowed to play on d floor etc too.

for best walker I generally think u should get one made from very thick rubber.usually comes packaged in the big carton. not those cheap light ones cos those can break easily.
since your baby is on d big side you should Aldo check for the weight specs of the walker

No problem. My baby took her first doses of pnemo and rotavirus at 7months.
We couldn't get a pharmacy that has in stock in Ado(julie o, twins oo) none had it, so I had to go to Akure to get it at 'his grace' pharmacy.
But for her next dose(7th Nov), I've ordered for it in Aromokeye pharmacy in Ido, hopefully they will have it by then.
Perhaps, if they can't it, I'll have to travel down to Akure for the next doses then(I pity myself cos that road ehn....but na for ma pikin, say make she dey healthy, I gatz to sacrifice sha).
pnemo costs about 9k per dose(3doses) and rota costs about 7kplus(2 doses).
I sincerely hope and I can get it here in Ido sha.
thanks madam. let me know the update about aramokeye. but I'd also find out from d hospitals too. chai .. u dey try o. Akure Na long thing . do u s stay that close to Akure. maybe ikere?

. Hmmmm, you no try o. U can try d state hospital in Ado,it may not be free but it'll be very cheap...another option is FMC,Ido..its free if u dont mind the distance.
thanks o. I didn't really know how important they were cos I used the health centre at okeyinmi in ado. I'd find out about FMC. I don't mind d distance o. at all.
my understanding was that okeyinmi was FMC community health post so I thought they should have same thing. I'll also find out about eksuth. thanks

Please mamas that take rota, pneumacoccal and MMR (pardon the spellings) when can babies take them. My baby is already 8 months o. Didn't bother about them till a friend's baby had pneumonia and no drug seems to be working. Now I'm wishing I had given my baby these vaccines. Is it to late? And for those residing in ado, where can I get them and how much?

Please mothers living in Ekiti, where can I get a nice affordable photo studio in Ado??
morning madam. I'm also interested o. I used little by little at ajilosun. it's after Fayose market. a storey building n quite popular. don't know if it's cheap o.maybe a tiny bit pricey. maybe cos they do lots of graphic works there generally.
their photo studio isn't so nice. they just snap with the white background n edit, change background plus add diff graphics on d computer before printing

I've also seen another little by little studio around that ijigbo roundabout.

pls let me know if u get a nice one other than them

Hello great great mama's, please come to my aid. I never in my widest dream thought I will be in this situation even when this has been discussed severally here. My baby just clocked 6months. She's been on Exculsive breastmilk. While on EBF, I usually express whenever I wasn't home and she was been bottle fed. Even when we go out, we bottlefeed her with breastmilk and there's been no issue. But recently I noticed each time we try to bottle feed her with the breastmilk, she rather plays with the bottle teet or useses it to scratch her gum. I didn't see that as abigdeal anyway cosshe still ends up drinking it though it takes longer. Now she's on Enfamil and it's been war. Initially she will play with the teet and drink and play again. But nowshe doesn't even want. The moment I bring the bottle to her mouth, she starts pulling back. Initially I tried spoon, she took it but now bothe spoon and bottle is war. I've tried the ready to feed Enfamil and the powdered Enfamil, im tired. Though it's been two days we started ds journey. My husband has also tried to feed her samle thing. Didn't know we will have this issue cos she took the breastmilk well with the bottle. And prior to now she usually tries to eat our food whenever we eat. She struggles with my hand and tries to bring it to her mouth . So I knew she was ready to start on solid.
Pls mama's, what do we do. I have similac too at home, shld I try that with her, maybe it's enfamil taste she doesn't like or continue to battle with her till she accpets the bottle. Thanks all
In addition to what others have said, your baby may be interested in natural foods than formular or cereals. It's not too early to start well cooked, very soft pureed or mashed foods like potato, rice, amala, moimoi, avocado and so on.
Another issue may also be variety. Some babies don't like to eat same thing over and over again. So you might want to vary what you giver per time in the day. maybe alternate the cereals, formula and natural foods.
I hope these tips help.
