The main point is, was he the best player for Italy, Chelsea, or in all the competition he played in? No he is not. Kante and Rudiger was better than him in the Chelsea team that won the champions league. Lorenzo Insigne, Chiesa and Giorgio Chiellini was better than him in the Italian team that won the Euro.
