Thanks. Please can you assist me with PTE and IELTS materials if you have any?

tunlex01:

Get 20 points in English by writing pte and budget to write multiple times. Also give 190 or 491 a chance.
It’s up to you if you want to get married but don’t make mistake of getting married or have a live-in partner and claim single. The 10 points for single is also not applicable if you are not officially married but live together. So no traditional, court or church marriages and no live-in. Cos if they discover, you will lose on all sides.
Your other option is get married and claim 5 points from your spouse by writing English test or remain single till you land in Australia

Please on that detailed step you gave on how to request for CBSA note, am I to pick member of the public or academia? I applied for study permit and I was refused.

Please this isn’t to start any argument o, just updating as promised.

He said the airline counter whine and collected 15k from her in naija, but it wasn’t an issue when she got to Canada. Her bags were only checked because she declared she carried meat n her luggage was much (10 bags). Thanks 🙏

Hello, please I just received a message from IRCC that I was refused Visa based on my assets shown (2 landed documents) and financial status does not show I wi come back to Nigeria after studying, does not show I can support myself without working in Canada and also I can pay my tuition without working in Canada.

My uncle is my sponsor and we showed sufficient POF. How do I request for CBSA note?

Thanks

Go to vfs website, book an appointment, normally from my experience you pick a particular date yourself and not you giving them 3 preferred dates. The available dates will pop up in the calendar then you pick and confirm the date.

Once appointment has been confirmed on their site, a confirmation mail will to your mail with an attached appointment letter which you will take along with you that day.
You will go with your passports
Your biometric letter from your GCkey portal
Appointment letter sent to your mail.
Book your appointment from link below.

Please, what do you mean by "I shouldn't put the employment since I don't have documents for it". Can I reach outside this platform? I am really have a lot of questions as I am new to this. Thanks

tunlex01:

Try going for Masters. TRA will not approve. ACS may approve but 4 years is too small to go for RPL.

Please, what are my chances for positive assessment?. I studied Petroleum Engineering but I have no working experience in that field as I have been teaching in a school till date. I intend going for Petroleum Engineer Occupation under class 491 and looking at WA nomination.

Advise please

tunlex01:

Sadly you can’t add that employment if there is no document to prove it. You need at least tax/pension/bank statement to prove that with TRA. Only submit the company you have document for from 2020

@tunlex01

JTLawson:
Please I am interested in subclass 491

My current point
Age (33) - 25 points
Degree (BSc) - 15 points
I am single - 10 points but I intend marrying and i heard this will affect my score
English (Competent level) - I was given zero for competent level.
I studied Petroleum Engineering (5yrs) but ever since I have been teaching in a school. Since I can't claim points working in the area of my choosing occupation I selected less than 3yrs experience which gave me zero.

The occupation I am going for is Petroleum Engineer and I intend to pursue Western Australia nomination which do that same occupation. It also does not require me to have any relevant working experience for that occupation.

Any advise on how I can boast my points?

Thanks

How to Choose the Right School for a Postgraduate Program

When it comes to choice of school, some individuals consider this as an herculean task, and that is why it could be hard to answer the “Why this school?” question, when standing in front of that beast of a VO.

As usual, I will be brief while giving out my tips.

You are welcome to ask your questions as we proceed.

STEP 1
Search for the best set of schools in your field: There are numerous prestigious schools around the world, but each is known for the quality of students it produces (in a particular discipline or more).
Now, before choosing an institution that you want to invest your precious time and money into, you should crosscheck it to know if it really worth it. Go on the internet, and then research about its exploit in your field. A website such as https://www.usnews.com is a good tool.

Step 2
Check the cost: There is this saying, “Soup wey sweet, na money kill am.” Meaning, something good costs money. The next thing after listing out the schools that are in line with your goal is to check the tuition to see if you are capable of affording them. If you can’t, there is option of financial aid, especially if you have good academic qualifications. Contact financial aid immediately! Inquire!

STEP 3
Check and confirm you meet each of the school’s academic qualification: This is quite straightforward. Visit the school’s admission eligibility page to see if you meet its admission requirements. Don’t waste application fee!

STEP 4
Apply: You are wondering if it is that simple? Of course, yes, it is as simple as that. Go ahead and apply to that school of your interest, and then follow up with the undergraduate or graduate admission office via phone call or email.

I have taken out of my valuable time to write this short piece, in order to guide someone out there, and I hope you will find this useful.

I wish that somebody a good kind of luck.
