RomanceRe: What Happened Between My Girlfriend And My Mother by Juchii(m): 11:02am On May 18, 2020
funkmrflexx:
We Have Been Dating For 1 Year and 6 months now. I’ve met her parents, we wanted to get married last year but her dad told me to wait till she finishes school which is supposed to be next year. I’m 25 years old and she’s 22 .

I live alone in the city while my mom lives in the village. My younger sister who I’m sponsoring through school sometimes comes to my place during holidays and weekends. My girlfriend practically lives with me because she comes from a type of an Abusive family. So she lives with me and I even assist her with school fees and house rents sometimes. I’ve spent even more than her father for her school.

Everyone In my family knows her and she’s a very wonderful girl. Typical wife material. She supports me every time even when I’m broke. I’m not the type of guy that dates a lot of girls . I don’t even cheat on her. Since I met her I’ve done away with a lot of ladies. I’m 100% committed to the relationship

But the problem is that she Has very bad anger issues. I mean she can destroy your property when she’s angry and I’m the quiet type. I don’t like hitting a lady execpt once in a while a general brain resetting slap. When she starts she doesn’t listen to anyone. Not me, not even her parents. So anytime she’s angry like this I will just find a way to make her laugh. Both of you can just be eating and she will get angry if you ate the fleshy part of the meat and left oily part for her (we have quarreled because of that I mean serious quarrel) . Sometimes I get tired of the whole situation. At the end even when she’s wrong I’ll let her for peace to reign. So I try to manage the anger at home so it shouldn’t go out

So we went to visit my mom in the yesterday. Because of curfew we slept over. So my mom bought us mangos this morning and told us to carry.

My girlfriend then said she doesn’t like mango that if I want to eat my mango I should carry it myself. Then my mom (she is the type that always shouts at every body. The real wahala woman) told her that if she can’t carry the mango then she should just put it on my head for me to carry na (If you no fit carry the mango u for kuku put am for e head make e carry am na).

That was the only thing my mom said. Then she sparked. Started shouting at my mom. That she should stop talking to her like that, that she doesn’t like it. In fact she’s going home. So she carried her bag and started going home. Every one in the compound started saying it’s ok (Na dat thing why dem tell u Dey make u Dey vex so) she was still shouting. I was even try to calm her down but no way. She was still shouting. Even my sister who had never seen her angry before became angry (na so you b? She said). I was really disappointed In her

The issue is what even made me angry is how she reacted. If she didn’t like what my mom said made her angry. At least she should have waited till we got home (this was the first time we were both sleeping over) then she would tell me. Or she could have called my sister and told her what my mom said. After all the fracas, she went inside the room till we left. I just told everybody to just leave her.

So when we got home I told her what she did was wrong that she shouldn’t have reacted like that. Na there war start. She started yelling and shouting at me that if my mom talks to everyone like that she won’t take it (my plan was to tell her that she should apologize to her. Because my mom already apologized that she won’t talk to her again like that. Which I know she will o . So we can just forget about the issue. But she never accepts she’s wrong ) She said I took her to my village to intimidate her in front of my family people, I was really angry and called her uncle and told him what happened. He said there was nothing wrong with what my mom told her (If you no fit carry the mango u for kuku put am for e head make e carry am na) and that he would talk to her .

I even scolded my mom before I left that I didn’t like what she said what she did that’s she was just causing issue. My girlfriend said when my mom said the word (If you no fit carry the mango u for kuku put am for e head make e carry am na) that I should have immediately rebuked my mom. But me sef no see anything wrong with what my mom said( If you no fit carry the mango u for kuku put am for e head make e carry am na)

I just Dey follow her uncle advise and leave her be until she calms down and I talk to her

So my people what’s offensive in this word? If you no fit carry the mango u for kuku put am for e head make e carry am na)

But this her attitude don tire me. Break up is not on the card for me at least not yet. She always thinks that they are other guys out there because she has a lot of toasters but I know they can’t do quarter of what I’m doing for her. In this modern time it’s difficult to see a guy who will allow his girlfriend stay with him thereby losing his freedom to do certain things. A guy who doesn’t cheat, a guy who takes care of her does everything for her .

I just think the things she went through in her family is affecting her physiological. And sometimes when I think about leaving her I feel pity because she can’t go back to her parents house.
I don't know your own definition of wife material but, I hope what you mean is not her ability to ride you well in bed. If that was what you mean then prostitute would have done a better job than her.
She should try that with my mum, she will go home naked and if you interfere, she will beat you join.
Men are becoming weaker nowadays and I don't know why?

Next time you want to argue, be realistic. Being partrotic doesn't mean throwing caution to the air.
Not that I don't know that Nigeria could hold them for sometime but it would come with so many lives being lost.
Nigeria could win the war but not from that reasoning of yours of having a large stockpile of weapons that nobody ever know nothing about.
In this case you don't have to use the weapons, you use your brain.

Imagine nonsense. Arrant senseless post... We should surrender to the UK, imagine someone's comment. A Nigerian saying we should surrender to another country, without a fight. ... na wao. Na wa.
Without a fight you say? I was just being realistic to the fact. Just knowing who you are and what you can do is best way to win. A president that ordered his millitary to attack an invending super power with an imaginary weapons, has blood on his hands.
Like I said there are many ways to win a war but not through day dreaming.
Clearing Nigeria millitary bases is just a matter of hours.

1) why would we have a nato fleet in our home shores? The closest they can get the Atlantic ocean for security and operational purposes.

2) why would we have a nato fleet heading towards our shores in the first place? You certainly haven't read nato's
rules of engagement. Well in avoidance of doubt here's one.
'The use of force against another person must have a clear
legal authority in order not to be arbitrary'.

3)i don't doubt the capabilities of our 'presumed' foes in sea landing, buh little questions I'd like to ask even though the have been asked before. 'where will those men operates from'? 'Who would allow em land?' 500,000 troops? That's an outrageous lie. Even during the waring era, the highest nato could muster up were 150,000 troops yet alone America.

4) supplies. Now this is the best part. Read carefully.

With their supplies cut off this is where
CAESAR 155 mm howitzer comes in play.

Who ever sends troops on such landing like that needs to beheaded, rather bully the weaker nation that shares border with Nigeria to allow u use their country as a landing base, buh such country would risk annexation.
I think we all should wake up from day dreaming. Lets discuss other matters at hand. We find it hard cutting supplies to Boko Haram terrorist, and we are here wasting our MB arguing about cutting logistics supplies to super powers. grin grin grin grin
If UK alone decided to invend us, the best we could do is to surrender in peace as for now.
There are many ways to win a war but not from day dreaming, because it could turn to nightmare grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

It is true but I think it is good strategy as well. Getting three at first and making it udergo regorous testing to scertain the true nature of the product within the perimeter of your environment before mass order is the best for me.
Following the marketing strategies of those Big companies, one could be deceive into thinking that a particular jet fighter could not be shot down.

When you make statements like this , it means you can barely think for yourself and take crucial decisions.

The man gave his own opinion and sentiments apart, there have been numerous occasions where innocent people at IDP camps were the casualty. But here you are countering him because he doesn't buy your idea. This thread is not a thread where anyone can just post anything, give anyhow information and expect everyone to buy his idea. We also need people who can give counter opinions. Same person was tackling someone some days back when he gave wrong information about the type of gun he posted , because of sentiments and hatred, all hell went lose on him without realizing he was actually correct.
Bro, that is not an opinion. He was just being too negative about the Nigeria millitary right from the beginning. I have came across people with contrary opinion in this forum but they are not like this. If I am one of the agent of NIA, I would have investigation on this guy. He could easily be used as a spy if he is working in the military.

My another take is that he is mentally unstable, he shouldn't be allowed to be moving around where normal people stays

My Observation..... It's a staged Delivery of Armors and Ammunition to them. Where are the Soldiers? How many dead Bodies appeared in the Video? Ill-equipped, poorly trained Mofos would just ambush Military Camp, set up to repel the Attackers, as simple as that?!
My best guess. I have been thinking in this direction. This is not just an ordinary attack. As Nigeria military start this new offensive against this blood killers, they needed to quip them to match some of our fire power. France and all this french countries need to tell us something we really don't know. Is like they withdraw soldiers from the Barack.
That gun trucks looks new to me and is like it was arranged somewhere for them to come and carry.

You counted it to 134 and 105 dead cheesy grin grin grin grin. You don't need to blame us. We actual need the pictures and videos like this case of Boko Haram attack which they showed us everything. Military have been lying to us repeatedly, so we don't really trust their press release untill they release the pictures of large number of dead boko boys. They are no more using their usually rounded numbers like 200 or 400, it is now realistic numbers like 105 and 134 without pictures, hmmm.
Mind you, I didn't believe that Chad killed 1000 Boko boys but they really dealt with them.
Meanwhile, it doesn't mean that I am not in support of NA or my country but they should always come out with the truth to their citizens and corruption in high places within the military must stop.

My only concern is that the operation was so easy and successful. They didn't even try to rapel the attacks. In fact I am not even sure those guys losed any of their fighter. If it only takes a shot from Boko boys to get this amount of weapons, then we are finished. We are in a terrible situation.

We are like under a curse, even as good as NAF is behaving in decisions they make, this is a bad idea, a waste of money and time. I think Arone company owners have insider connect at top level in NAF drone research program and they sold the idea to head of R & D who also may see personal profit in it and signed the NAF-Arone deal, Arone has no theoretical knowledge or practical ability to build any drone for anybody anywhere.

The whole team are all locally schooled guys including a CEO with a false claim of USA MIT University laboratory qualification when actually he is Enugu Nsukka graduate of Mathematics who did during his early campus days as UNN student, a cheap easy online paper course of a few weeks Stanford University for theory only knowledge of a practical course called Machine Learning that he cannot apply practically to build anything.

Arone CEO is making fake claims, proof https://www.linkedin.com/in/emmanuelezenwere/?originalSubdomain=ng

All their technology experts have likely never stepped outside of Nigeria, not even to Ghana to learn any drone building tech, they can only do paper writing and 3D animation videos, any real drone they build will be tiny micro drone with imported parts harvested from the DJI type drones sold in shopping malls overseas and online Amazon sales shop. Is that what they will produce for NAF to fight real wars?

Arone at best can do same thing they do now in Tanzania, Uganda, etc, buy $3,000 civilian copter drone on Amazon online, use it as civilian logistics delivery drone for boxes of packaged goods like blood banks delivery to hospitals in difficult locations as a UAV medical materials delivery service. Ask them to show you that green white drone with propeller they painted with Arone name, its not real, and if shown, its not their original product, or where did they get high performance gyroscope and FLIR electro-optics components?

The Arone company technical team, they all schooled and worked here with us in the east, S.E. Naija local boys.

Look, hot truth is, NAF has been offered top class expert support from Nigerian engineers with real M.Eng./PhD from American Universities, very senior engineers working for many years in project design and factory production as staff of Boeing Scan Eagle UAV, NASA space program, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Predator/Reaper Armed Drones, Lockheed Martin fighter jet program, but NAF ignored all of them, they say they are not interested, NAF rather chose other type of Nigerians who make drones on 3D animated cartoons images.

Check Arone official website, the drone they built is in a 3D Animated Cartoon video clip show of 49 seconds! Let them show us a real drone Arone made own copyright product, they have nothing.

All their so called qualifications in drone courses are poor certificates from theory paper courses from unaccredited online tuition houses.

The fraud is, these are guys from the east and the top level of NAF research centre is mostly controlled by senior officers from the east, they just brought their junior brother to make millions off NAF tight budget.

Nigeria may never develop technologically because the first qualification for those who can do it right, is to know the top officials that will approve the deal, so what if they dont know anybody at the top, the whole of Nigeria has to remain backward and suffer?

Its a disappointing one from NAF like the strange NAF procurement of Poland made Honker 4x4 tactical trucks purchase that has now vanished from service operating around 2015, 2016.

This a deliberate NAF monkey banana technology partnership deal that will not achieve anything real for Nigeria's long delayed drone production dreams and cost maybe some small $2 million in public funds that will just vanish on worthless projects spending to be covered up as research /development costs, I guess its just a smart money diversion for NAF top men to eat after doing a good job in most other aspects.

That good job is actually a normal average common sense performance from 2015-2020, it only looks fantastic to us as Nigerians because the NAF before them did very bad jobs from up to 2014. In a sane country of sensible humans like Ethiopia Bostwana Egypt, all NAF is doing good will just look ordinary to their citizens.
This is exactly my point bro. You have said everything that I have nothing else to say.
Problems with Nigerian researchers and engineers is mainly lack of patience and dedication. They want to blow as soon as possible through their shabby and unproved works. They so much believe in certificate that so many of them obtain it through false means, cheating themselves along the way. I would have condemned you for bringing federal university in Nigeria so low but unfortunately, that is what it is having schooled in so called best university in the South East as well.
After much research about this self claimed company or firm called Arone, I can't point out exactly what they have to offer NAF in terms of practical and technical knowledge.

Funny how allies have suddenly become enemies over a space of 9 years. Back in 2011, these two teamed up to overthrow the government of Laurent Gbagbo but today what politics has joined politics has put asunder.

But then, Ouattara is playing a very dangerous game here all in a bid to frustrate Soro's 2020 presidential ambitions.

Guillaume Soro still has the capability to destabilise Cote d'Ivoire. He is still a very dangerous man.

Ouattara must know this. A Third Ivorian Civil War is still a possibility with Soro still in exile. He has done this before.

He can still do it again.
You are on point. Here in cote d'ivoir, they even fear and respect soro more the president himself. This is not good news at all to those living in cote d'ivoire. Microbes (area thugs) are silently watching. Ouattara have tried in terms of development but it seems he doesn't carry the people along especially the Muslims. This is a very sensitive case. He should have negotiated with soro instead of using political force. Remember soro still commands a large group of area boy that helped in removing gbagbo.
