Keep it updated, USA is over 100k now Some people self, defending the USA with whatever it takes USA tested 450,000 people out of over 330M people and you are saying this. OK Let do the calculations, 450000/100000=>5 That means one in every five USA citizens has the the virus. Just admit it, trump made a mistake by trying to play down the crises because of November elections. |
Boris Johnson is first world leader to announce infection In a tweet earlier today, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed that he had tested positive for coronavirus. Mr Johnson said he was experiencing "mild symptoms" and would be leading the country from home while self-isolating. While he's the first major world leader to announce a positive test, the disease has already impacted the daily lives of several others. Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel is self-isolating after a doctor who gave her a vaccination tested positive. Canada's Justin Trudeau is also self-isolating with his wife Sophie after she tested positive following a trip to London. Other leaders who have been tested but say their results have come back negative include the presidents of Brazil, the US and the Philippines. Concerns were raised after several Brazilian officials tested positive after returning from a trip with Jair Bolsonaro to meet Donald Trump. Both leaders have hit out at critics and refused to self-isolate, despite WHO recommendations for anyone with possible exposure to do so. World leaders wish Johnson quick recovery Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was the first national leader to send a message of support for Boris Johnson on Twitter. On the news that the British prime minister had tested positive, Mr Vucic said: "Get well soon and keep fighting." European Council president Charles Michel also wrote on Twitter: "Europe wishes you a speedy recovery." Meanwhile, the head of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told Mr Johnson: "Please take good care." He went on: "Your leadership and commitment to beating the coronavirus are key to saving lives.” https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-52058788

panafrican:You don't have to defend anything that has to do with USA while you criticise your own country's effort everyday. This thing you just said now does not make sense in any dimension |
The first destiny endangering mistake is the that of a spouse choice. Many children of realms are everywhere on assignment. The first thing to do before marriage is spiritual check on what spirit resides inside. The second is foundation check The third is compatibility check Then character, but then, character that came from environment can wither out but the first three don't. Finding a spouse can be tedious and requires help from the holy Spirit and especially if you are a child of destiny. People called into apostolic and prophetic ministry meet the end of their road through their marriage. |
And I want to appreciate Charles, I have followed the thread from page one. And what I see is a spirit led individual that have allowed God to permeate him. The way he responds to opposition is amazing and humbling. And nnamdi too. You are touching souls and opening eyes. This is your service to God. |
Another dream check is What kind of life where you living when you had the dream. Spirits, fallen angels and demons have undisturbed access into our lives in sinful states. The dream the Holy Spirit may give you at this time is to restore your steps. Let me give an example, I was praying for a spouse sincerely for some months then suddenly I fell in sin for a while. Trying to retrace my steps, I tried prolonged fasting and on the second day. I saw my sister telling me to marry a certain girl. Waking up, I saw myself again asleep and this time again in the village with my siblings encouraging to marry this same girl. Waking up, I went to sleep again and someone with my sister's face was inside my room telling me the same thing. Now the fourth time I woke up in the middle of the night with a spirit just above my head. If you are sincere with yourself, you will that these dreams are not from God but from generational spirits who care for your welfare and wants to help. Is the girl God's will for me, No because familiar spirits don't know God's will for me but they can come up with what could be good for me and for them. What will happen if I married her? You just entered another generational trap. Your lifestyle and spiritual bearing can determine what you dream about. The same with what you hear and see and the kind of spirits around you. |
It's my honor to contribute to this. As many of us are into the prophetic. Dreams can come from anywhere and it usually depends on where your spiritual alliance is. Believers, especially in Africa and due to unwholesome deliverance are still attached to familiar and family spirit that have access to our souls. Dreams occur in the soul realm. Now, demons and can project impressions on our soul and it comes out as dreams. Both good and bad. And the Holy Spirit can speak to our souls too. Now to know dreams of family spirits, the dreams will always be filled with faces of family members, family houses and familiar things. The dreams of the Holy Spirit are always dreams of direction and dreams of warning especially as relates to your destiny and service towards God. And less about material things. Now, a spirit that possessed a person can also manipulate your dreams especially python spirit. If you usually hear voices in your head these same voices can speak to your dreams. The devil usually can imitate anything God is doing but the only thing He can't imitate is love. Demonic dreams always causes us to fear but dreams of the Holy Spirit (even warning dreams) won't cause you to fear..... FEAR AND LOVE IS THE REAL TEST OF DREAM SOURCE. |
northvietnam:You seems like you don't know anything about presidential protocols. So far he is coming back from affected country the president can't meet the man until after 14 days even if the president wanted to. The life of the president is not in his hands but in the hands of the DSS, NIA etc who sworn an oath to protect him at all cost. He can't but follow the protocols already set aside |
Breakdown | SA now has 402 positive Covid-19 cases, all provinces affected The Health Ministry on Monday confirmed the number of coronavirus cases in the country surged to 402, up 128 from the previous day. All nine SA provinces now have confirmed cases of Covid-19. South Africa now has 402 confirmed cases of Covid-19 - an increase of 128 since Sunday's announcement. That is a spike of 47%. The Northern Cape has its first confirmed cases, which means that all nine provinces are now dealing with the global pandemic. President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation on Monday night amid increased speculation that South Africa will go into lockdown. "We will thereafter engage the public to give further details and explanations on the results, including the significant rise, the ongoing testing processes, each province’s progress on contact tracing efforts," Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said in a statement. The Presidency said there no cause for concern about Ramaphosa's health. This after African Christian Democratic Party leader Rev Kenneth Meshoe has been tested for the novel coronavirus. The hardest-hit province is Gauteng, with 207 cases, followed by the Western Cape, with 100 cases. The Eastern Cape has two cases; the Free State 13; KwaZulu-Natal 60; Limpopo four; Mpumalanga nine; North West four; the Northern Cape two; while the location of one case is listed as unknown. Of these, 32 patients are 61 years or older, while nine are 10 years old or younger. The Health Ministry on Monday confirmed the number of coronavirus cases in the country surged to 402, up 128 from the previous day. All nine SA provinces now have confirmed cases of Covid-19. The reaction to the spread of the coronavirus locally has been severe. Schools have been closed to prevent the spread among children. "We do know that children tend to have more mild infection, have more mild disease, but we have seen [at least one child] die from this infection," Maria van Kerkhove, the Covid-19 technical lead at the World Health Organisation, said in a press conference on 16 March. "We can't say universally that it's mild in children, so it's important that we protect children as a vulnerable population." Internationally and locally, a multitude of events - from concerts to sports events and church gatherings - have been either postponed or cancelled. Closing shop The City of Cape Town closed a number of its facilities on Wednesday - including swimming pools, camp sites, recreational hubs, stadiums and community halls – in an effort to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Equally, the City of Johannesburg has decided to close all its public facilities indefinitely amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. This includes all public swimming pools, recreational and civic centres, stadiums, libraries, sporting facilities and the Johannesburg Zoo. On 11 March, the World Health Organisation (WHO) announced that Covid-19 was a pandemic. "This is the first pandemic caused by a coronavirus," said WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at a media briefing in Geneva. "We are deeply concerned by the alarming levels of the spread and severity, and by the alarming levels of inaction," said Ghebreyesus, adding that the word "pandemic" should not be used lightly or carelessly. Last week, when there were only 61 cases, Ramaphosa declared a national state of disaster. https://m.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/breakdown-sa-now-has-402-positive-covid-19-cases-all-provinces-affected-20200323

US jails are to let out inmates as cases of coronavirus infections are being reported in prisons. New York City is releasing "vulnerable" prisoners, the mayor said on Wednesday, days after Los Angeles and Cleveland freed hundreds of inmates. Prison reform advocates say those in jail are at higher risk of catching and passing on Covid-19. There have been more than 9,400 cases of Covid-19 and 152 deaths in the US so far, according to estimates. Globally there are some 220,000 confirmed cases and over 8,800 deaths. Rikers Island outbreak New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Wednesday that city officials will this week identify individuals for release, including people who were arrested for minor crimes and those most vulnerable to infection due to underlying health problems. His announcement came hours after a guard and a prisoner tested positive for coronavirus at Rikers Island prison, where disgraced former Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, 68, is a high-profile inmate. Weinstein will be moved to a different state prison, an official said on Wednesday. Other New York prisons, such as Sing Sing, have had inmates test positive for coronavirus and one employee for the state's corrections department has died from it. What have other US jurisdictions done? The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reduced it's inmate population by 600 in the last two weeks, officials said on Tuesday. "Our population within our jails is a vulnerable population just by who they are, where they are located, so we're protecting that population from potential exposure," Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva told reporters earlier this week. The LA County jail system is the largest prison system in the world with an average population of around 22,000 prisoners. Mr Villaneuva disclosed that arrests in the county are also down, from an average of 300 per weekend to only 60 in mid-March. Cuyahoga County, Ohio, where the city of Cleveland is located, has also released hundreds of prisoners due to coronavirus concerns. Judges held emergency hearings through the weekend to work out plea deals and other agreements to allow prisoners to be released early or without serving time. Several states from New York to California are now banning in-person visitors. A ban on visits led to a deadly prison riot in Italy last week. Federal agencies will postpone most arrests and deportations during the coronavirus crisis. What is the danger to prisoners? Reform campaigners say prisoners face unique risks, due to a lack of hygiene in overcrowded cells and hallways. Handcuffed people cannot cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze, sinks often lack soap and hand sanitiser is considered contraband due to its alcohol content. Iran has already released 85,000 people, including political prisoners, in an effort to combat the pandemic. The US locks up more of its citizens per capita than any other country, with an estimated 2.3 million people behind bars in federal, state and local prisons. Some high profile convicts have argued for early release over coronavirus fears. They include President Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen, 53, financial fraudster Bernie Madoff, 81, and Gilberto Rodriguez-Orejuela, a notorious Colombian drug lord. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-51947802

Coronavirus has killed more people in Italy than in any other country, after deaths there rose by 427 in a day. The number of deaths now stands at 3,405, which is more than in China where the virus originated last year. There have been 3,245 reported deaths in China, but there have been questions over the reliability of its data. A lockdown imposed on 12 March in Italy has been extended beyond the original 25 March end date. Nearly all Italians have been told to stay at home. Despite these measures, the number of new cases and deaths has continued to spiral. There have been 220,000 cases of the virus worldwide with more than 9,000 deaths. China confirmed it had no new domestic cases on Wednesday for the first time since the outbreak began, a major milestone. But it reported 34 new cases among people who had recently returned to the country. The number of cases in China - more than 81,000 - is still far higher than in Italy, which has 41,035. What's the latest in Italy? Italy shut down most businesses and banned public gatherings nationwide on 12 March as it tried to halt the spread of the virus. Bars, restaurants and most shops have closed, as have schools and universities. The lockdown has been extended, and Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said it had helped prevent "the collapse of the system". But he told the Corriere della Sera newspaper that "we will not be able to return immediately to life as it was before" even when the measures were ended. A report by the Istituto Superiore di Sanita into the deaths in Italy of 2,003 people confirmed to be positive for coronavirus found that three regions, all in the north, were by far the worst hit. Some studies point to the large number of elderly in the affected regions, and that a large proportion of 18-34s live at home with them. Different demographics in other nations may have helped to keep the death toll lower. What about the rest of Europe? The European Central Bank (ECB) has launched an emergency €750bn ($820bn; £700bn) package to ease the impact of the pandemic, with boss Christine Lagarde tweeting "there are no limits" to its commitment to the euro. France began its lockdown on Tuesday morning. It requires citizens who are in public places to carry official paperwork stating why they are not at home or face a fine. Interior Minister Christophe Castaner told Europe 1 radio on Thursday that the lockdown might be extended beyond the originally stated 15 days. He said 4,095 fines had been handed out to transgressors and 70,000 control checks made since Wednesday morning. The fine is €135 ($150; £123). "Some people think they're some kind of modern-day hero when they break the rules - but they're imbeciles, and a danger to themselves," Mr Castaner said. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-51964307

USA that wanted to help Iran have admitted that they can't even help themselves The White House has acknowledged the nation does not have enough coronavirus test kits as cases of the disease ticked upwards on both US coasts. Vice-President Mike Pence said the Trump administration would not be able to meet its objective of delivering one million testing kits this week. Congress meanwhile moved with unusual speed to approve a bumper emergency aid package to combat the outbreak. Globally, authorities have confirmed more than 92,000 cases of the virus. The vast majority - more than 80,000 - are in China, where the virus originated. Worldwide, more than 3,000 people have died. The US death toll from the coronavirus climbed to 12 on Thursday, with all but one of the victims in the north-western US state of Washington. There are now more than 200 cases of Covid-19 in 20 states. A cruise ship, the Grand Princess, remains off the California coast while passengers are tested for the virus. Where is it spreading? In Washington, officials in the Seattle area announced 20 new cases of the virus, bringing the total in that state to 70, according to its health department. Nine of the US dead so far were from the same nursing home in suburban Seattle, which is now being investigated by authorities to see if it followed infection-prevention guidelines. Some major Seattle-area businesses, including Microsoft and Amazon, have shut down some operations or urged employees to work from home. New York saw its caseload double overnight to 22, all of them in or near the city. The city's mayor called on the federal government to send more test kits urgently. About 200 people have been quarantined in the US state of Rhode Island because of their links to a school trip to Italy that has resulted in three cases of the coronavirus. San Francisco reported its first two cases of the coronavirus on Thursday. And the US state of Maryland confirmed its first three cases, in the Washington DC suburbs. Where are the testing kits? At a press briefing on Monday, Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Stephan Hahn said close to a million tests would be ready by the end of this week. But Vice-President Pence - who is co-ordinating the US response to the outbreak - conceded on Thursday that that target would not be met. "We don't have enough tests today to meet what we anticipate will be the demand going forward," Mr Pence said during a visit to a factory in Minnesota. Speaking in Washington state in the evening, Mr Pence said: "We still have a ways to go to ensure that tests are available." But he said that by the end of next week the US government's diagnostic supplier would distribute kits across the country that would enable 1.2 million Americans to be tested for coronavirus. Image copyrightGETTY IMAGES President Donald Trump says the US has had relatively few confirmed cases of the virus because of his administration's decision to prohibit US entry to foreign nationals who have visited China - the epicentre of the outbreak - and Iran during the previous 14 days. But health experts fear the virus may be spreading undetected in US communities because of a lack of testing kits. The president is expected to sign an $8.3bn (£6.4bn) funding bill passed 96-1 by the US Senate on Thursday. It is intended to help state and local governments combat the coronavirus. What's the latest on the Grand Princess cruise ship? Officials ordered a cruise ship with about 3,500 people on board - including 142 Britons - to lie at anchor off the California coast until passengers and crew can be tested, after a previous voyager on the vessel died of the virus. On Thursday, a Coast Guard helicopter lowered test kits on to the 951ft (290m) Grand Princess vessel by rope. Princess Cruise Lines said fewer than 100 people aboard had been identified for testing. Results are expected by Friday. "The ship will not come on shore until we appropriately assess the passengers," California Governor Gavin Newsom said. A man who sailed on the Grand Princess last month died of the coronavirus on Wednesday. The 71-year-old from the Sacramento area had underlying health conditions, said officials. Two other passengers from that voyage are in hospital with the virus in northern California, officials said. https://www.bbc.com/news/live/world-asia-51764135
