I'll personally draft and create a contract and get the very first investors to sign that at all times I'll own 60% of the shares.

All share sales and dilution will come from the remaining 40%. Can't come and form a company and then some modaf*ckers will push me out.
Owning about 60% share of your company will limit the success of your company. The company won't be that large. Check out the most successful companies, the owners own far less percentage of the share. Zuckerberg owns about 20% of facebook, Jim Ovia owns about 9% of Zenith, etc.

cool

I have worked in places like that before.

My brother the best thing to do is, arrange your cv again and start sending out cv as soon as possible while you manage him until you get something better.

Me I don't always advice people to leave their job if they got nothing to fallback on, but I always leave my job, when i discovered that that environment is not good for me, and God always pave way in 2-3 months.

The truth of the matter is that, if you want to really grow, such place is not for you, because you will always be working in fear, and what you need to contribute, you might not be able to do that, you will always be afraid to see your boss everyday, so that's not job brother.....

I wish you well
Have you read the book 'The 7 habits of highly effective people' by Stanley Covey? Try to read that book. You may have a change of mind.

Another one sighted! shocked

No we are not. We are proven loan company. We have financial model. Investment of 300,000 yields 10,000. Does that sound ponzi? It yields only 10k because we trade with ur money in real time. We cannot magically transform 300k to 60k ROI. Go back to my older post, you'll see where i talked about Miminetwork Solutions as a loan company that gives loan to civil servants.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Rivers State Teachers Recruitment 2012 by Juenwume: 7:17pm On Feb 13, 2021
Quote me anywhere, no real time company or business will give you 10% return on investment per month aside ponzi scammers. Take for instance, we at Miminetwork Solutions give 3.33% ROI per month for any amount invested with us. Why? Because we do real time business, we are not magicians. We can't give more than our profit. Be wise and don't let greed take over.

99% of wealthy people are business men, you wont get to a greater height in wealth if you dedicate your entire life on a paid job. The average worker who is upright and doesn't involve in shady dealings ends up not been too wealthy or achieving much in life. Aside from multinational company's, most firms in Nigeria pay belwo 100k and when you factor in cost of leaving and daily expenses, how much can one save out of the salary in a month. Thats why I noted in the beginning of this write up that except you are working in a firm where your salary is above 100k and promotion/upward review of salary is certain within 3 years, then you are just wasting your youthful age when you work in such a place for long. If at the end of a year, you cant be able to save up to 1M, just try as much as you can to quit the job. Though its not easy, but its better you bear the heat and get out when you are strong and agile than wait when you get old.

My advice is that as early as possible, one should start looking for a business to start, irrespective of the nature of the business, as long as its legal and pays your bill just dedicate yourself to it and nurture it to growth/maturity. Business is easier to manage and nurture when your personal expense and responsibility is still very low, thats why its good to start when you are still under your parent, as a student or during NYSC. That way, even when the business fail, you have your family to fall back on until you gather the necessary resource to start again.

On a last note, when you have a striving business, by the time your kids grow up, one or two of them can you in the business and probably be on their own by having an offshoot of your business. That way they wont have to be looking for a job after school especially in this period of unavailability of jobs. But if you retire as a worker, you have nothing to pass to your kids to help them kick start their life. They will have to search for job or establish their own business.

I will also advice that if you have the opportunity of picking up a job as a sales rep of a company, please do not hesitate to accept it as this type of job gives you first hand experience of how businesses of buying and selling works. You will get to know how the market moves, the season when some certain goods are in high demand and with this experience, starting your own business in same line wont be difficult for you as you can even get some capital and purchase goods in the name of your customer and if you have a good relationship with him or with those around, selling the goods wont be much difficult through their help pending when you get your own shop/warehouse.

MODIFIED...
My own rule of thumb is... IF YOUR JOB IS YOUR ONLY SOURCE OF INCOME, DONT QUIT YOUR JOB FOR A SIDE BIZ UNTIL THE BIZ IS A "GOING CONCERN" AND IS GIVING YOU MORE THAN HALF OF YOUR MONTHLY SALARY.

Bros you made alot of sense. Society deceived us about school. I have started business at 35 with nothing but now i count in millions. My greatest regret is not to start earlier as school has taken all my time. By the grace of God, i hope to take my business to billions. It will be different for my kids.

It's a pathetic situation. It's a real sorry and a pity situation. We eat the crumbs just to quench our hunger and thirst of starvation which the government had deliberately made it so.
Depending on this salary is like using a basket to fetch water hoping that it will get full.
Make this job your secondary option and focus in something meaningful (business). Have you imagined that the salary doesn't last for two weeks. It's not funny.

We call it passive income. I made this job passive long ago. I'm not a slave. I refused to be used in modern day slavery. I am not complaining because it is just one of my four sources of income and it is my least source in terms of average revenue per month.

Read investment books like the Richest Man in Babylon or Rich Dad Poor Dad and know why you shouldn't put your money in "get rich quick investment" The promoters do everything possible to disguise it as real investment. They chose the name FOREX because they new very few people know how FOREX works . Even, one of the rules here on Nairaland states "Don't promote shady investments like betting, HYIP, MLM, FOREX, binary options, and cryptocurrencies on Nairaland". Be wise! I won't say a word on this again.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP SHOULD BE YOUR SECOND ALTERNATIVE TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS.

By Prof Muhammad Abu Abdullah

Keep your Degree in a safe custody for future opportunity, and engage in entrepreneur skills, otherwise you will die poor.

Most of the educated people in Nigeria are poor. Majority of the educated earn less than N55,000 for a salary before tax and other deductions. When the deductions are put into consideration, the net salary comes to around N50,000. The net salary then suffers from loan deductions of up to N15,000 leaving the salary at around N35,000. The landlord then demands for his N15,000 and monthly shopping takes away N10,000 leaving one with a N10,000. The bus will demand for N300 going to and from work and relatives get another N2,500. The whole salary is gone and borrowed money starts operating. The borrowed money includes short loans and salary advances.

The difference between poverty and prosperity is property. A prosperous person has property to his name while a poverty stricken person has no property to show. Using this understanding, therefore, most of the degree holders are poverty stricken, borrowing money to buy chicken and chips, pizza, and a car.

The biggest excuse for getting paid such low amounts of money and having to sit and work for another person for 30 days is THE DEGREE that one possesses and that’s all. This has made most of the degree holders very poor to poverty stricken and will die that way most likely. A degree holder does not know how to generate money unless that money is generated for the employer. A degree holder is so dependent on the salary that he can do anything to get a job but will not think of starting a business of his own to employ others.

Interesting Facts!

1. A degree holder is not prepared to sell chips but is very happy to work for hungry lion (companies).

2. A degree holder is not prepared to sell popcorn in the street but is very happy to work for Dangote outlet in the city and mum river-sides.

3. A degree holder is not prepared to sell second hand clothes but is very happy to be employed by Zenith Bank which the business of selling stocks and looking for customers in a scorching Sun.

4. A degree holder is not prepared to make N150,000 monthly doing his own business but is very happy to work at the till in a bank getting paid N25,000.

5. A degree holder is not prepared to start a company and grow it in two to three years but will spend three years searching for a job.

6. A degree holder is not prepared to sell food to students but will be happy to be reporting to a boss with no qualifications as Office Assistant as long as he is paid N30,000 for a salary.

7. A degree holder is so eager to get out of this country and work in another country than spend time to develop his own country.

8. A degree holder staying in a foreign land (Nigerian) is very keen to condemn Nigeria but never contributing to the development of this country.

9. A Nigerian degree holder would rather sweep the streets of London or USA than start a business to make money in her father land – others work in people’s homes doing some work (cleaners).

10. A degree holder in Nigeria will watch porn on his laptop but never sit to write a book using the same laptop to sell and make money.

11. A degree holder will blame the government for lack of jobs even after he was on government bursary for him to have his degree.

12. Nigeria is blessed with young people who have master’s degree and others are doctors in different technical fields such as IT and Engineering but all of them have failed to create a cartoon character or develop a movie from the same instead very happy to buy Tom and Jerry for their children thereby promoting American and UK.

A school I visit, there is a man that is of very humble background. He does not speak English but sells Coke, Fanta and Sprite at N80 each making a profit of N10 on each drink. He also sells chips at N50 making a profit of N17 on each portion. Not less than 80 students buy chips and a drink every single day. This means he makes a profit of N27 for a drink and chips and a total profit of N2,160 per day…every single day. In ten days he makes a profit of N21,600 in twenty days N43,200 and in thirty days N64,800.

The degree holder working in a bank gets a salary of N45,000 every month.

Why are the degree holders poor?

Because they have decided to pride themselves in a degree and failed to think better than a man who does not have even a certificate to his name.

Degree holders spend their time liking articles on linkedIn and facebook but never have any care in the world to implement what they like. Poverty starts from the mind, a mind that just likes things but never to implement those things.

If you want to progress, keep that degree and start thinking better than someone without a degree. There's no white collar Job anywhere bro!

Be prepared to get your hands dirty and work like an ox for your business. Your hard work will pay off.

Think Success!!!
Think Entrepreneurship!!!

Dream as big as you can dream, and anything is possible. If you have N10k and can keep fear aside, there will be many genuine business that can engage yourself with.

2% understand this. You said it all. Our greatest assets are mind and time.
