Goodluck Jonathan and his wife have been responsible for our recent backwardness. They are the remote cause. Anything you see now is just the immediate cause. A relatively progressive state now have 0% progress level. How can you kill human development and expect progress?

You are right. Very good advice but you see, i have learnt to believe heavily in providence. I've learnt to live a life devoid of fear. Historically, fearful people don't go far in terms of achievement. I'm a married man with 2 kids and a help. That's a family of 5. Before i got married, my earnings was 65k and this happened over 6 years ago. Now with a family of 5, my earnings remains same and even less for some of my colleagues. I know someone may say some people don't even earn as much as that or are even jobless but the real question is why must you compare with less case, why not compare with likely case or even with the most successful case?

I'm with you joor. I'm not falling for this TRCN crap. When they called for recruitment, they told all professionals to apply, not just those with education qualification. Now they want to blackmail us to put money in their pockets. Let them try any nonsense if I won't summon them at my village shrine.

For me, i will neither enrol for PGDE nor hustle for TRCN. If they were tired of my services, they should take me to ministry of works or power and i will be fine. I'm not even happy where i am right now let a lone to get certification. As for those threats, none moves me one bit.

Not at all, every teacher is not gullible, every teacher cannot be gullible but majority. I know what i'm talking about. Just a single case will suffice. Do you know how our February-March, 2016 salary disappeared? But a lot keep saying it will come this month, it will come next month, Director say, ES say and when you want to bring in some logical reasoning, they jump to call you names. But this is almost after 4 years February-March salary is gone.

I really don't think it is nice to quarrel about this,the governor has said countless number of times that he will pay what federal government will be paying so I think all we should be doing is to pray that he should even do more than the federal government.

Are you aware that some states have started paying even more than the Federal gov consequential adjustment? And here i am, from a state as rich as Rivers yet no penny added to my salary after more than 6 years. My problem is the truth, i will keep saying it. Rivers state money is not just for a single individual but for the citizens.

I could remember when someone said here that this minimum wage would be paid in Rivers State by 2020 (from March up wards) but people were quick to cast and bind him. Now what is happening? With the look of things the payment may reach December, 2020 before it would commence in Rivers State.

Thank you bros. I'm the one. I'm still waiting for January 1st, 2020 to remind that guy that said i'm the chairman of pessimists. You see, from historical antecedents, it has shown that teachers are widely gullible maybe because of the way government treat them.

Rivers don't have a worker friendly governor. I will still remind you by January, 2020.

I told someone working in Rivers not to expect any increase on her salary this year. You may say i'm a pessimist, but that's the fact.

I think we should continue since we have every valid documents. No one can eat our money. From complain so far, what people experienced was delay but they were finally paid.
