With what i heard concerning commissioner for finance statement this morning, i think my God will fight for me. Anybody putting me in financial crunch will have to contend with my God.

Certification ma black @ss, why will I spend scarce resources to improve myself on a job that pays least in the labour market, a job you will work for 10years no promotion nor increment in the salary. I dnt know the cause of this short term memory but I know once upon a time civil servants in Rivers state were made to wait till the 24th of the new month before they could be paid. and this lasted for over a year. My Salary story is a long one so no comment on that.

Hmmm, it is nw too glaring d reasons why most people do nt wan't to be a Primary/secondary school teacher. I like teaching but God FORBID that i should end dis career in primary/secondary school, NEVER! However, Lecturing in Higher institutions are where d flavour of teaching job can be found and i would do all it requires to see myself there because with what am seeing it is axiomatic that Primary/secondary schools teaching jobs are meant for women. Imagine five months without pay and no one is coughing even our Almighty NUT has turned into a paper tiger. Can this Govt dare Lecturers with this kind of expensive joke?

This is what joblessness has caused. Finding oneself in a profession outside one's profession. My joy is definitely i will NEVER end a teacher. So sad to be a teacher! Imagine the bla bla bla from the NUT chairman.

The Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has said that it is a sin for any employer of labour particularly government to owe workers salaries in a time of recession the country is in now.

“We saw this recession early and made agriculture one of the pillars of our administration.

This is why we have been paying our workers. It is wicked to owe workers at a time like this.

“People should embrace risk management. That is the solution to disaster, especially in a recession.

“No recession lasts less than 18 months, so we need to wake up. The naira is moving to N500 per dollar.

“We need to secure our certificates and other valuables of ours so that nothing will happen to them overnight. That’s the way to survive in a recession.”

He said his administration foresaw the trouble and embarked on preemptive measures such as investment in agriculture.

Obiano posited that risk management was the solution to economic recession.

He called on Nigerians to develop the culture of insuring their lives and property, arguing that it was one sure way of mitigating the adverse effects of disasters whenever they would occur.

The governor, however, observed that the people of the South-East geopolitical zone had not been paying attention to insurance.

He added that that was why they were usually the worse hit whenever disasters occurred.

He said that his administration had acquired 10 sophisticated modern fire-fighting trucks to boost the activities of the state fire service

The governor advised that rather than approach government for assistance whenever disaster occurred, the people should form the habit of taking insurance policies.

“My expectation is that our people will be better informed about disaster and its management after listening to the various speakers at this summit,” the governor said.

I won't bother joining issues with you,if I understand correctly,all those who have not received salaries all have a common problem,which is the February non-payment issue which was due to late submission of BVN and other details(which isn't the government's fault).The entire process that led us to this point is as a result of the biometric team's inability to resolve the issue on time.When the issue was resolved weeks back,was the list not sent to the governor for approval?Will the governor go to the ICT department and do their job?You are to be likened unto a tortoise who has been in a pit toilet for years,only to complain of the stench on the day he was being rescued.Your money is here,and we all know it wont be paid this week but next week.Put ur mind on that and stop trying to insult someone who doesn't care about your cheap words.

I will advise you don't allow sentiment(Which is obvious you have strong sentiment for the governor) over rule your faculty. Simple logic tells me a government fails if workers were owed for 3/4 of a year. forget APC or PDP; let's call a spade "a spade". I want to tell you some persons have died as a result of this.
