This is very pathetic. The only good thing that may be of benefit to Civil Servants in this whole 4 years will be the new minimum wage and nothing more...
Gov. Wike is not ready to promote or effect any promotion as regard Rivers State Civil Servants. Our labour unions are not ready to challenge the governor as regards promotion in as much as they are receiving their take up dues at the end of the month.

You have been in this teaching job for over 5 and 10 years without promotion, you better look for an alternative source of income and make this teaching job a part time job.
You may grow old soon without achieving anything meaningful for your children to inherit or you may not even be able to take very good care of yourself at old age. Receiving your pension after retirement is not even guaranteed.
The Government of the day does not show much concern on education and the welfare of its citizens.

This is my story with FBN insurance.... I've called all available lines on the website none is forthcoming, sent several mails, all to no avail. I just got a debit of 50,000 from my account after I requested for claims at maturity.... I don't even have direct debit of 50k with them. My edusaving is just 10k monthly. Gov. Wike and Zanfara state governor are the governors behind all the confusion in this new minimum wage. Wike will openly tell Rivers Civil servants he will pay but he will go behind and instigate the governors that they cannot pay. Very wicked, greedy and heartless governor we have in Rivers state. In his 4 years as a governor no promotion, no employment, no chrismas bonus. Inflating contract sum and stealling our money to answer mr project.

Why did you have to separate 48,572.98 from 22,148.33 ? Why did u not add both up before calculating to arrive at the final answer ? Why did you divide the gross salary into two 48,572.99 and 22,148.33 is it how it is really done in the ministry in charge of this matters ?

On the N30,000 new minimum wage, Wike said he would implement the new wage as soon as the federal government reviewed resource allocation formula for states.
Not when fg approve the new min wage but when revenue sharing is review upward!!!

Any attempt to vote wike in means 1) No promotion 2) No yearly salary increment 3) No Christmas bonus 4) No employment. It is expected that one should grow financially as you stay longer in service, but wike will not allow me and you to receive what is due for us. I advice you my brothers and sisters use your voters card wisely.

At 30,000 minimum wage
Level 8/3 after pension/ other deduction total 61,823.47 ( basic 24,286.49) Therefore 61,823.47 - 24,286.49 = 37,536.98.

@ 30,000
30,000/18000 x 24,286.49 + 37536.98 = 78,014.4633
(78,014.4633 - 61,823.47 = 16,190.9933 new addition)
New basic will now be 24,286.49 + 16,190.9933 = 40,477.4833 (new basic) + 37,536.98 ( allowances) = 78,014.4633

At 30,000 = 67% approximately

I just used level 8/3 as an example, follow the above step to get that of any level, including level 8 step 4, check the pay slip of any level to know the basic then calculate it this way;
30,000/18,000 x your basic + all the allowances.

Level 8/4 should be little above Level 8 step 3, difference of #100 to 500. I also understand that allowances will get some little increment too. Meaning that new increment starting from level 8 and above will be more than 20k addition.

How I wish, it should be on gross salary.
Then level 8/3 as an example will be;
30,000/18,000 x 70,721.31( gross salary) =117,868.85

It's simple. just the new minimum wage divide by the old minimum wage ( #18,000), whatever you get, multiply that by your present salary.
For instance, if the new minimum wage is #54,000 and your present salary is #60,000.
then New salary will be
(54,000/18,000) x #60,000
= 3 x #60,000
= #180,000

Wike is not supporting Tambuwal because he will win the Presidential election, he is supporting him to emerged as the PDP presidential flag bearer to fail in the general election to pave way for his Vice presidential ambition in 2023. Wike thought is that, By 2023 he must have completed his second tenure and set to contest for vice president.
Wike will fail in all his dirty plan. He must go.........
