JMG12: The tax will expose you, they didn't ask you for your income tax as a salary earner, submit your salary account and payslip if available, then you are good to go. sir i sent u a DM pls respond |

Zybob: Thank you for your response. My Worry is that, the tax filing does not correlate with the monthly inflow ove the years. Imagine submitting a statement of N34,875,500.00 with monthly income of N5,000,000/00 as an example. Wouldnt the tax filling need to correlate with the monthly inflow? your taxes and salary should match to help build a credible story about your finances |

hey guys i am trying to get your thoughts on this...A student that studied in china for 4 years (nursing) recently graduated moved back to Nigeria (2026) and wants to do a masters in Public Health in Canada, is it advisable for her to apply with spouse? Also how can she strengthen her application (Home-ties) citing the fact that she has been away for 4 years, is this a red flag? |

rebirthto: Whatever you do, be careful of some people who might contact you through Nairaland. I have submitted my documents to the Portuguese embassy for verification and legalization. Although my documents have left the Portuguese embassy for NUC, the NUC has not yet sent them to my school. Honestly, the process is stressful, but it’s manageable on your own. i am in your DM bro pls respond nothing personal i just need to make some enquiries on the process. |

IyanuoluwaJay: Good day Everyone I don’t know if anyone here has gone through Legalization process lately for Portugal. The process seems a bit confusing and I’m not sure where to start or how long it takes. Has anyone recently gone through this process in Abuja? I’d really appreciate guidance on: Which office/ministry to visit for authentication and legalization Required documents to bring along Approximate cost and timeline Any reliable person or plug who can assist with navigating the process faster If you’ve done this before or know someone trustworthy who helps with document Legalization in Abuja, please drop a comment. Thanks you any headway on this yet? |

Travel › Re: Age Modification On NIN by juliusocean(m): 6:12pm On Jun 18, 2025 |
Hardeybohwarley: Yes. You will see a option where you can edit it.
There is one serial number in the registration make sure you copy it ooo was the date on your nin also wrong when u did yours? |
Travel › Re: Age Modification On NIN by juliusocean(m): 5:59pm On Jun 18, 2025 |
Hardeybohwarley: You can do it. I cleared my browsing history that's the problem, I would have just sent you the links I used.
The NIMC officers clicked some stuffs in that attestation site before he did the payment and he downloaded the certificate from check status.
He made mention of a site where you will have to pay another 2k if your registration wasn't successful.
I wish I could be of help. the site says i have to validate my nin but the date on the nin is wrong can i use it like that? |

1phone: Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR) is a 12-digit code that is generated electronically, and it is used for making financial payments on the Remita platform. Someone asked me to approach the bank pay for it through remitta do you know anyone that have used the self service recently? |

Hardeybohwarley: Click on this link.
https://attestation.nationalpopulation.gov.ng/welcome
The best thing is to go to a NIMC office and meet one of their officials to help you with it. I did that and I gave them 6k. Plus the printing and use of their background wallpaper because you will need to snap yourself.
Their help is necessary. the prob is i am not in the country currently so i really need to use the self service by myself, are you saying its impossible to do the attestation myself? |
Travel › Re: Age Modification On NIN by juliusocean(m): 4:50pm On Jun 18, 2025 |
Hardeybohwarley: Self service with help from the NIMC officers.
The attestation certificate cist 3-4k how did you get the cert? can you talk me through? |
Travel › Re: Age Modification On NIN by juliusocean(m): 4:39pm On Jun 18, 2025 |
Hardeybohwarley: You only need attestation letter for certificate of birth from NPC which will be gotten online not from Local government.
It's let say 3k-4k.
Then you will pay the NIMC 28 or 30k.
I did mine in April and everything cost maybe 34k including sorting out the NIMC staffs. is this for the self service? how did you get the attestation letter for certificate of birth from NPC online? |
Travel › Re: Age Modification On NIN by juliusocean(m): 4:17pm On Jun 18, 2025 |
1phone: not yet. hope to get to local Government council next week as directed. Self service process is effective only when all required documents and RRR are handy what do you mean by RRR and what are you getting from the local govt? |

1phone: I'm having trouble with my NIN record, as my date of birth doesn't match. I need to correct it urgently to access my pension fund. I've tried approaching some individuals who claim to offer NIN modification services, but they're quoting ₦80,000, which seems excessive.
Does anyone know the official process for correcting NIN records or have recommendations for legitimate assistance? I'd appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this quickly. Pls DM Have you been able to sort this out? did you use the self service? |

I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has shared their experiences, especially @Zubizareta, who is undoubtedly the best person for the job here. Since my first day here, he's been helpful, even during my application process. He did a fantastic job on my SOP, and I appreciate every contribution he made that contributed to my success. Frankrobbn1: It's great to hear about your fish pond business and your landed property. When it comes to showing evidence in your Statement of Purpose (SOP), it's generally a good idea to provide supporting documents for any claims you make. Including a picture of your fish pond could be a helpful visual representation of your business. It can showcase your dedication and expertise. So, including a picture of your fish pond could be a nice touch! 🐠📸
Additionally, registering your business with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is indeed important. It not only provides proof of the legitimacy of your business but also adds credibility and professionalism to your venture. So, along with showcasing evidence of your fish pond, having your business registered will strengthen your application. Good luck with your application! 🐟📝
will a newly registered business not raise any concerns for the vo?
It will end in praise |
