I was in my room going through my phones and replying to messages from my phone. It’s been a while since I logged into the App and I was met with so many messages from my friends and family. I was still going through my phone when I heard my door made a creak sound and I looked towards the direction of my room door and saw uche my boyfriend coming in. I wasn’t pleased seeing him in my room because it’s risky and his mom might come in anytime if she wants me to do something for her.

“Babe” I called

He came closer to where I was lying down on my bed and sat close to me.

“Shhhhhh, I really missed you and I couldn’t just wait for next morning that I had to come see you now”

“You’ve seen me now, you can leave” I said scared while I looked at the entrance of the door checking if someone is there

“They’ve all gone to bed Babe, don’t be scared” He said reassuringly

“I know, but your mum wakes up late most times and comes to my room whenever she need my help with something” I explained to him

“Babe don’t worry, no one will know I’m here” He said as he dragged me closer to him

“Okay, so how was your journey?” I asked

“Stressful but I’m glad you are with me now because all the stress are all gone” He said smiling while removing my hair which was covering my face.

“I missed you too baby, no one to cuddle at night” I said and smiled

“Don’t worry, I’m all yours tonight” he said and cuddled me. “I will leave your room very early in the morning”

“I’m feeling sleepy already, let me lock the door” I said as I stood up and head towards the door

“You must be really tired, is the work here that stressful?’’ He asked

“No, it’s not stressful at all, your sisters help me out in the kitchen most times” I said

“Okay” He replied

I didn’t sleep immediately because uche didn’t let me sleep, he went on and on about how life abroad was and how much he will miss his friends over there. We talked until late at night when I finally doze off.

 

Very early the next morning at 4am, uche woke me up and informed me he was leaving for his room. I woke up and followed him to unlock the door.

“We will see later” He said and kissed me on the lips

“Okay” I smiled

It’s been stressful the whole week with class activities and I still don’t have enough courage to talk to Mirabel about my growing feelings for her.

I was still lost in thought when my big bro came into my room all smiles.

“Good morning Bro” I greeted

“Good morning Lil Man” He replied

“How was your night Bro” I asked

“Best Night ever” He replied

“Hmmmm” I mumbled

“Why are you still on your bed, aren’t you going to school today” Uche asked

“I will Bro, just had a lot on my mind” I replied. He looked at me suspiciously before saying

“Woman matter?” I was shocked when he said that, was it that obvious?

“Sort of” I said and looked away

“Let me hear your girl issue Lil man” He said

 

I told my big brother the whole issue how the bully Raphael and his friends threatened me and asked me to stay away from Mirabel even though she just wanted friendship. I also told him how I avoided Mirabel and how rude I was to her just to stay away from Raphael’s troubles. I also told him about the new boy Raymond who happens to be Mirabel’s childhood friend and how close they are and how she seem to be liking his attention. When I finish explaining everything to my big brother, he took a deep sigh before saying

“you were rude towards her because a fellow classmate asked you to stay away from her even though you knew she wanted you as a friend, you really messed up Lil man, what happened with the teachers in your school, why didn’t you report him to one of your teachers?.

Now she’s distant from you because she sees you as a jerk. I don’t think she’s into her childhood friend though, I think she still likes you but wants you to get jealous. All you have to do, is to make your feelings clear to her and stop hidng.

‘Thanks Bro” I said

“Go get ready for school and make sure you do your thing” He said

“Okay” I smiled and went to the bathroom to take my bath.

Today is going to be a good day………….
