First off, i live alone, make my own meals occasionally lipsrsealed and all. So, why exactly do they make these seasoning cubes so hard to grind with the fingers? Is there some high tech innovation for breaking 'em that i don't know abou undecidedt? Cos i almost get blisters every time i make a meal, thanks to rock hard Knorr cubes. In fact, i'm strongly considering getting a hammer and chisel solely for cooking purposes. cheesy
So i'd like an explanation and a less painful way of making good food. grin Thank you.
Why??

“Till this very moment, Christians and Muslims in the North are still killing one another, because of religious manipulation of same elite. What have they done by directly concentrating their efforts in recociling feuding communities, and appealing to them to sheath the swords, they, the elite supplied them through preaching hatred, acrimony and false religiosity?”
Hmmm.
Many times it's difficult to believe why our religious believe and and traditions that says that good name is better than silver are useless and failed us.

Even preserving our cherished traditions by so called """"""""leaders""""""" failed woefully.

They are unintelligent people. People that don't believe or know that they must serve their people that's why they are leaders.

They just like praising the past leaders, but the present and coming  generation will curse them.

Politics › Re: Bishop Kukah And Arewa Youths Forum Slam Northern Elders! by juman(m): 10:33am On Dec 07, 2011
Bishop Kukah spoke on “Roots of ethno-religious crises in Northern Nigeria,” asking Northern leaders to stop praising the late Ahmadu Bello and other past leaders and pursue programmes that would develop and transform the living conditions of their people.
“How many Peace Conferences did Sir Ahmadu Bello organise to bring about unity and development in the North?
The """""""leaders"""""" have no achievement they can talk on. They are just bunch of unserious people.

They will never achieve anything. Let them go and do their arewa country and do it as they like.

Nigeria will certainly break up.

No to one Nigeria.

“All these are threatening to redefine the character of the once peaceful, united and promising nation and of particular concern to us is the development in the Northern states. Therefore, this conference is concerned about the challenges and the need to salvage the legacies of our founding fathers which are showing signs of imminent collapse.”
The present northern leaders failed on the issue of almajiri's system, they suppose to have moved it to the next stage.
Politics › Re: No North, No Nigeria -gowon by juman(m): 9:45pm On Dec 06, 2011
“What is happening today is not the Nigeria and the North we inherited and for us, it cannot be the North we desire to bequeath to our children. The present North was not bequeathed to us neither and our children responsible for it. We have, over the years through our action or inaction, directly or indirectly allowed the gradual decent to present disagreeable and unacceptable behaviours in our communities and the entire North. We now must show seriousness, courage and responsibility in addressing these challenges squarely without fear, favour or mudslinging,” Gowon said.
Hmmm.

If there is no way of testing to asertain if one is man-lover or lady-loving-lady, Then Nigerians wishing to live permanently in US can claim man-lover or lady-loving-lady and by Word of Obama be granted asylum because of legislature underway here to clamp down on themhuh
Just thinking aloud!
It may not as easy as said, but the government might just give one or two persons asylum on that issue to score political point.

Gbenga Dar:
Hello All,

My wife lend her friend money from her overdraft account in UK and the friend is not paying back. When I met the lady in UK last time she promised to be paying back end of every month a certain amount and I just find out today that she hasn't been paying. The bank keeps charging her interest on the overdrawn amount which must be paid every month. This has affected my wife credit rating and she decided to be paying the interest because of our credit rating.

I would like to know if there is any legal action that can be taking because there is no document agreement signed between them.
Very unfortunate.
I think both you and your wife should sit down with the friend and have a very serious talk on the debt.

If there is any proof of money transfer between your wife and the friend, I think at least you have feeble ground to rely on.
