please mamas, I was tested positive to malaria and I HV treated it, but think am having d symptoms again..vomiting and fever, can I take d medicine again..pls I need urgent answer..

Mamas in the house I greet everyone and congratulations to the new mums. Am a FTM and Please I need help. I last saw my period on the 17th of Dec and am 29 weeks gone which means my EDD is mid September. (So I thought)
My last ANC on Thurs I demanded to have a scan to actually know my EDD without guessing and to also be on the safe side and I was referred to a lab which I went today and was told my EDD is actually 28August which also means my last period was in November not December as I tot.

Am still confused oo cos in December I had a normal 3day flow and now this does this mean I was pregnant and still seeing period? *Scratches head in confusion* and to top it off am yet to shop.
I need advice cos the very first scan I did showed 9th of Sept(this will be the second scan)

same happen to me... the very first scan I did, d dey told me dat according to d sac my last period is Dec 6, so my edd is sept, the second scan told me my edd is sept too and I saw my last period Jan. 6.. really confuse.

I strived but submit to God's will, for He knows all. When it was just few weeks left to August 25th. I fell to labour and before I could say Jack, the water gushed out on first Sunday. I was rushed to nearby hospital where I gave birth to my Angel but she only survived few minutes. Everything happened suddenly but thank God I'm alive because the delivery was serious as the baby was brought buttocks first. I lost lot of blood but I survived it all though my baby girl is no more.

I don't know how to handle the loss especially when my b..bs full and no baby to feed. Pray for me pls

may the lord console u, am so sorry such will never happen again... He will comfort u with double blessings that will stay with u 4ever....

If you have registered for antenatal, they will guide you on the tests to run at the appropriate time.
Expect to run tests like Hepatitis (B and the rest), genotype, blood group, PCV and of course HIV.

yes ma, am just worried...
I register in a private and maternity Hosp. I will like to Gv birth at d maternity cos of the way they treat preg woman..
all they knw in d private is money..their nurses are not really good, they ask me to do some test of which they will not Gv me d result in case they ask me in d maternity so I can show them.

but maternity hv not ask me to do any test. I just pray am safe...

In addition to what Tabsy said. The first TT dose MUST BE TAKEN AFTER First FOUR MONTHS OF PREGNANCY to ago side effects on the baby cos it's a strong injection.

Though the TT issue had been addressed recently on the thread.
According to my own understanding: During pregnancy especially for a FTM you are meant to take TT twice. 1st one is meant to be given when you start antenatal and then the next one should be at least a month after (mine had a space of 2months).

The third TT would be given 6months after you took the 2nd one (one has to always calculate and know the dates handy)

The fourth TT would be a year after the 3rd one which it in 1.5years after the 2nd TT

The fifth is a year after the 4th TT which is 2.5years after the 2nd TT.

Was also informed that if you miss taken the TT after delivery as noted; one would have to start allover again during another pregnancy.

I hope this explains it well enough.
