Self-deprecating humor is a good coping strategy in times of economic meltdown. I will seriously talk about Ghana when it emerges from bankruptcy. 2037.
Ghanaians are enjoying their life Because the effect on our lives is very minimal unlike in a poor country like kenya.

Your country is so bankrupt such that it cant carry out any more real infrastructure project till 2036, you guys cant even pay public workers and you are still making noise here?
your poor people are busy demonstrating for your govt to close down just a single chinese shop opened in your country.

Kenya GDP is now 120B - almost double Ghana now smiley
Even your own govt data does not put it at that ... you desperate fool*

Reason why i ask when your math teacher died .....Ghana's GDP of 870 billion at the current baseline calculation is 108 billion dollars

youll need to have almost double of that to get to claim that yours is almost double which you actually need to have because your country has double of Ghana's population, to be at Ghana's level

Nobody has the time nor the interest on your bankrupt economy. You cant even pay debt. Why would I calculate a bankrupt economy expected to recover in 2037? I.diiot.
Fortunately my country is not Bank nor poor hence the significance of it and the interest it gathers all around the world.
Real soft power that your country will never have 😂🤣

My economy remains bigger than yours with a huge productive capacity that is 5 times yours ... That is a real economy and not the phantom bankrupt Kenyan economy running on bubble.

Ruto and your treasury are busy waiting for 2036 when your debt repayment is expected to come back into sustainable levels. That's a gone country 😂

Ghana debt to gdp is now 98 percent

Kenya last I checked was 62.5 percent
GDP 870 billion Cedis
Debt 575 billion cedis

When did your math teacher die again?

Crazy desperate child.

Kenya debt is 84 billion dollars while you're GDP is 108 billion

For a poor country like Kenya to amass that much debt is crazy

Boy, no room for lies. You're not debating a random yahoo boy.

I have both 2022 and 2023 data. The last date was from the last Quater; Dec 2022_ which is $615B. ( $76B)

575 billion cedis is not 40 billion USD, dwarf. Lemme drop for you some exchange rates since June last year ~ CBG.

Your central bank says your debt is $77B, not $40B.

Statista is a Kenyan blog, IMF is not. IMF says ghana's debt to GDP is officially 100%.
Desperate as usual ..... My Central Bank, The World Bank and IMF all says that my debt is 40 billion dollars but this dwarf is still making noise here with the usual lies.

This 48 billion dollars has since decreased to around 40 billion because of exchange rate changes, payments made and etc thought in cedi term, it has increased to 575 billion.

Do you even read the the you're posting ?

Central bank said that, not me.

And yeah, I gave you two scenarios, well analyzed. Don't ask stupid questions.

The same bank says GHana GDP in July 2022 was $502billion. You can't lie here. cool
Next time...learn to quote the central Bank data properly in it more recent publication and dont be desperate grin grin

Unfortunate we are not in July 2022 which was a baseline figure for 2020-2021.

current GDP baseline figure for the Bank is 870 billion cedis

You're desperate because Ruto is begging for your debt ceiling to be increased from 10 trillion to 17 trillion all because your country debt currently stands at 9.4 trillion kshs ending December 2022.

I don't need blogs. I'm glad I've reduced you to blog peddler. cool
In the face of fact, youve already started crying like a baby..

my central bank says my external debt was 33 billion dollars and decreased to 28 billion before year end while my domestic debt was 11 billion.

next time when you read, read properly before showcasing a poor standard of comprehension.

grin grin

Now statista and the IMF are a blogs?

The 575 billion cedis debt translate to just around 40 billion dollars of debt

Shma2023:
Lemme help you. You seem obtuse.

Ghana central bank from the latest report says your nominal GDP is GHC502 billion _ but let's assume your GDP is $77B . You said ~in third pic, that your debt is GHC575 billion; which translates to $77.7B using GHC 7.4 of forex used in the last quarter of your fiscal year ~ in same CBG report. Your GDP being $77B means your debt to GDP is hovering at a whopping 100%_ That's if we stick to the central bank of Ghana.
~ 1st, 2nd pics.
Let's try a 2023 Ghanian data:
Let's assume Cedi was trading at GHC 8 in the first Quater before depreciation kicked into 12 cedis against USD. GHC575 billion will be pretty much 71.8($72B).
Let's also pick your fantasy GDP of $77B.If we do the percentage; we will get more or less 93% debt to GDP _ which your central bank also approves ~ last pic.
Is this the pseudo economics they teach ya in Kenya ? 🤣😂🤣

Ghana external debt is 33 and decreased to 28billion dollars before year end 2022 and domestic debt is 11 billion dollars.

When you add those two, how much debt will you get ?

Both figures come from the IMF.

Kenyans will always be desperate.. I've never seen a society with this many anti-fact people like the Kenyan society.

Dwarf doesn't know which base year GDP is being used to calculate debt profile as he has no knowledge of economics.

😂🤣

You're really an idiot

They are using 2020 -2021 as base year.

In 2022, Ghana's GDP hit 870 billion Cedis according to Bank of Ghana data.

I'm sure you know maths, that's not a 93% is it?

Kenya can't run a legitimate election and the US, they did everything to make sure senile Joe won just to spite Trump and launch a war. The very same war they were scaring US voters with that Trump will launch.

They had almost 30B dollars worth of external debt; and 25B on domestic debt;
That 30B has nearly doubled to 50B - due to Cedis depreciation;
Now add 25B in cedis - local debt.
You get 75B - that is 100% plus of Ghana debt to GDP.

That is big risk with external debt. Currency depreciates - you're in for the music.
See another dreamer concocting figures from his ass just like his desperate fellow 😂🤣

Basically, that is 50% of Ghana's 2022 GDP

Facts should be backed up with reputable sources_ like IMF, world bank, ministry of finance, and the like. Facts are not random barrels dug out from hobbit's @sses. You should start making debates work. Making a debate work is through proving facts with legitimate sources or, accepting facts when you see one. Don't be desperate because Kenya, Nigeria, or SA is doing better than Ghana.

It's the most credible data you can ever have

Don't guess numbers like a nut.

Ghana's debt to GDP is 100% - in 2021, you guys were doing 80% of GDP. Meaning, your debt should be hovering around $55B-$75B in 2021 to 2023 respectively.

Kenya's total debt is around Ksh8.7T .

2021 data from your ministry of finance.
That's basically 40 billion
This is basically 50% of GDP
