Even Southern Turkey is one of the most beautiful places I've been for an average place. Austine1212: Every place got its poor parts, you were in poor neighborhood
That does not make turkey any less
Visit cleveland in US its poor, but that does not mean US is poor or not developed |

rationalhuman: Brother, Listen , i lived there for almost 1.5 years. I know what i am saying, I was able to have good premium meal because my company was providing but i have seen what those people were eating in lunch or dinner. And i go there frequently That is their food, they dont like to take heavy foods like we Africans do. I guess when you go to Sweden too, you may end up saying Sweden is a terrible country. I was in Sweden and couldn't find rice meals in any restaurant The only place i found it, It was highly expensive. |

rationalhuman: I suggest you visit Southern Turkey (Turkish HDI is good) or ask someone who had visited there and but you will see worse of worse situation in entire southern Turkish region. Literally people survive on bread and Hazel nuts. So what happened to HDI Argument?? If you country is small then HDI can give an accurate picture but when you have huge nation its not so useful.
Also one error in your sentence, India`s Nominal GDP is more then 3 Trillion USD not 2, while in PPP it is 12.4 Trillion USD You are making noise Turks love bread and nuts It is a big part of their food. Apart from its political instability, Turkey is a dem good country. Southern Turkey is not a poor place |

Kenya beats Ghana in.all those you have mentioned except number 1, 4 and 5 |

It is even unnecessary vaxx: I keep saying it you have a problem with word. throwing the word development all around without knowing the meaning is an act of ignorance.
This is development...
1. Access to electricity. 2. Quality of life for people in rural areas. 3. Favorable weather conditions. 4.overall HDI 5. Safety and security. 6. GDP per capita (nominal and PPP). 7. Internet access. 8. University research. 9. Manufacturing industry. 10. Diversified economy.
Analyze each of these factors and make a fair comparison between both country, you can even go ahead and add Kenya. let see which country perform better.
My reason for choosing health industry is simply because of its fair assessment. you only know a serious country by the amount of wealth she put in her health industry. health is akin to overall development. |

Even in Cashew Tz barely export more than Ghana So you will rather choose a poor society that cant afford what you produce over a rich society that can afford it ? you will be the funniest investor This is just one of those baseless arguments Let it rest kevomtaani: with all fairness you have cherry picked industries specifically pharmaceutical and cocoa I can do the same with horticulture in Kenya or dairy farming in Kenya or even cashew nut farming in tz and say Ghana cannot match us I said Tanzania is more developed and I still maintain it that way. It has better infrastructure, it has better tourism a better aviation industry,.more opportunities in manufacturing, the agricultural industry in Tanzania is better managed and it has entered into trade agreements with east and southern African countries which puts it in a very good position. plus a bigger population which means ready market for goods. this are what has led me to say that
However that doesn't mean Ghana is bad. No. Ghana has better health care, for the last few years I've seen Ghana invest in new projects Ghana has less poverty, Ghana has better social welfare programs.
But if I'm investor X and I have 10 million usd and my options are to invest in Ghana orTanzania I would choose Tanzania |

Tanzania has resources that does not have commercial value Lets put mineral resources aside, Ghana Has more opportunities than Tanzania. Even having this convo is useless so lets end it. Ghana has more resources than Tanzania, just for correction. Kazikazi: You didn't answer my questions about Ghana having more opportunities than TZ. That's a lie.
Tanzania is more resource rich than Ghana
Tanzania has more tourist attractions and opportunities than GH
Agriculture wise,is the same thing. In transportation, TZ has more opportunities In manufacturing, its the same thing In fisheries, its also the same. Almost everything, TZ has more opportunities except may be oil sector. |

what is your argument exactly about this time? kevomtaani: GDP is also one of the ways to tell a country has opportunities not wealth. What you do is simply calculate the GDP of a country against it's population. for example Mauritius beats south Africa in HDI, PPP but I wouldn't say Mauritius has more opportunities that's a lie heck I wouldn't even say Mauritius or even Seychelles is more developed than South Africa. Gabon has a high HDI than kenya would you say Gabon is more developed? |

Kazikazi: Opportunities? Which opportunities are there in Ghana but not in TZ?
Can I do Tanzanite mining in Ghana as I do in TZ? Can we do helium extraction in Ghana? Can I do mountaineering in Ghana the same way like TZ?
Educate me buddy Helium Gas sales is a small industry The cost of extraction usually dont make them commercially viable You can do mountaineering on the 600km of mountain range in Ghana |

You have not lived in Ghana I already debunk that kevomtaani: I have lived in Ghana I know Ghana doesn't have 3% of it's population being white. in fact I'll see a Europeans person five times more in Kenya and Tanzania more than i would in Ghana. you do however have more Lebanese and Chinese people.
Really Ghana is better than all those countries I've listed? Ghana which has a gdp of 65billion usd versus a population of 31million people has more opportunities than kenya, Tanzania and Namibia? okay as someone who loves Ghana dearly I politely disagree |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Just30: 5:41pm On May 14, 2020 |
kevomtaani: stop this you guy. stop misleading people are there white people descended from the early explorers yes a very small insignificant number. all those people being interviewed like the Korean lady being interviewed by wode maya are not ghanaians they have just settled there. If Ghana were to experience something like war they would easily go back to their countries of origin.
Ghana doesn't have a significant number of Europeans because it was never a settler economy. on the other hand south Africa Namibia Zimbabwe Zambia Kenya Tanzania
have more European descendants as citizens than in Ghana some are third even fourth generation, some can't trace their countries of origin. even in west Africa Ghana does not have more European descendants than ivory coast. So everyone is right and you are wrong Ghana does not have even over 100,000 Europeans. I doubt even the numbers of Lebanese and Chinese is close to a million. A million people is not a joke it is a significant part of a countries demographics.
Going by your logic all countries that have tourists visit the country and decide to stay should be considered citizens? that is where you get it wrong |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Just30: 4:13pm On May 14, 2020 |
He doesnt understand chrisagyei: Ghana statistical service who organise the National census does it for developmental and educational purposes so you claiming not to be a Ghanaian ends all questions projected for only Ghanaians. So you answering non Ghanaian, the statistician will not need to ask you which race you're, etc.
The number of white Europeans are derived from continuous registration of permanent residency permits issued within an accumulated period of time where detailed information of nationality are gathered and the current ongoing national Identification exercise that gives Ghana card to Ghanaians and non Ghana card to non Ghanaians.
These are the source if informations that determines the number of white Europeans which is still underreported due to the National Identification exercise being suspended due to this pandemic. |

framers of Ghana's various constitution were highly nationalistic of who a citizen is The entire law governing citizenship is one of the entrench part of Ghana's constitution that has been recommended for review by the constitutionals Amendment commission in a referendum. Danielnino00: That's absurd... It's discrimination... How can somebody whose ancestors have lived in a country for many centuries not be eligible for citizenship?
I don't see what makes them different from those who have one parents from Ghana and the other parent from another country like Jerry Rawlings who has a Scottish father.. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Just30: 3:41pm On May 14, 2020 |
Those affected are well to do people who can fight the legal regime and win but they are usually unconcern because they dont feel like it is a discrimination against them. The law exist just to make sure that foreign nationals do not earn up holding political office. Danielnino00: This is interesting..
But why does such law exist? And to what end ??
It's weird how a certain group have people can trace their family ancestry in a particular country for 6 centuries back but won't be regarded as citizens of such country legally.. |

kevomtaani: Clearly you were testing me when you said you worked at Tema harbour. terminal 1 and terminal 2 in Tema are referred by seaport 1 and 2. and I know what I'm saying when I tell you it was still under construction in 2013 I've even named the bus lines and even companies at the port as you requested or..you still don't believe I tested your knowledge and you failed There is nothing like seaport in any references Pilots and captains call in for call signals as Terminal and berths. There is no bus service that runs through the port What companies did you mention? You had no idea which company carried out the expansion work you claimed to work on until i mentioned it. |

In Ghana, unless there is an occasion going on, you hardly find people just walking along the street except for hawkers next time you come to Ghana, just check the pops, bars and restaurants after 6PM I didn't know there were that many Turks in Ghana until i roamed around East Legon Turkish DNR and Palace after 6pm kevomtaani: really now bro we are arguing over a word..fine Ghana is cosmopolitan. it doesn't have two million non-black people living there
by colour, Ghana might not have 2 million non black but by citizenship, you are far from the truth. many Ghanaians are even holding two passport since dual citizenship is allowed .
what does that even mean. you clearly said Ghana has 3% of it's population as European and I refuted it. all countries which have dual citizenship have a large number of people holding two different citizenships that's the whole point of having it. I don't think I get your point bro ! |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Just30: 1:37pm On May 14, 2020 |
kevomtaani: I'm referring to 1 seaport and 2 seaport in tema, Ghana dude I know what I'm talking about. I have clearly stated where I worked and even offices in Accra, that is not enough terminal 2 was still under construction in 2013 and in fact from what I gather no shops filled the 14 duty free allocations at the harbour. Flemingo international wanted two shops out of the fourteen. when I first got there it was the only duty free operater. ask away anything there is nothing like one seaport and 2 seaport There is Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and fishing Harbour Now there is Terminal 3 The only construction work that was carried out at Tema Harbour was the construction of a Bulk Jetty to Increase the Berth from 12 to 16 at Terminal 1 Construction started in 2013 and ended in 2016. Construction firm was AMANDI. Now we call that berth the Clinker berth. Terminal 2 started operation in 2007. |

what seaport are you referring to? From you write up below, you dont know the port and neither did you work on the expansion. Before the expansion, the Duty-free shop already existed and it is just one shop Terminal 2 construction ended in 2007 kevomtaani: I worked at 1 seaport, when I left the port was still under construction as of now I don't know how many shops are there. the plan was to have 14 shops in 2 seaport. some of the clients I worked with who I can remember was flemingo international, mariners club.. to get to the port I would take the 211 or 347 transit line depending on where I was coming from. we had other offices in.accra at Roman ridge opposite the Bangladesh or indian embassy can't remember which one. Is that enough or you want more proof? |

They are still receiving their allowance which is their due. The Harbour pays their NSS personals from their own IGF so NSS can not dictate to them when to allow their workers to resume. The Director of Ports says they should resume end of month. I just hope it doesn't Change vaxx: lol...what about allowance? .....
The personnel working with private institution and even those working as NSS support are called to resume their duty early this week except those who are posted to schools. |
