TayserMahrii: Show me anything close in Ghana
Atleast your neigbors have a concentration camp as the largest mall
I know for a fact with your cross dressing president cant afford to build anything like that I don't like arguing over useless stuffs but you're pretty dumb Kumasi Central Market 172,197 square metersCost 250 million dollars to buildWhen completed the market will have 6500 leased stores commercially, 5,400 stores closed, 800 kiosks, 50 restaurants, 40 livestock stores, 210 fish monger and butcher spaces and community facilities of 1,800 square meters. It is estimated to cover a total area of 172,197 square meters. Nothing in Kenya comes close |

Shma: lol! Is that all,? Every country is aiming at that. But the question should be, how long will it take for Ghana to recover completely and start showing economic growth?? Manufacturing alone can not do you favour, in kenya We expect the GDP growth to recover, driven by a recovery in agriculture, manufacturing and financial services sector( though am quite sure unemployment rate will rise drastically due to this epidemic) I don't know how our government will tackle this,. we also expect improved private sector credit growth to be beneficial to GDP growth. Currently many things have stalled, it will be so difficult to shield it, am not talking about kenya alone even Ghana and worse of Nigeria with her shambling economy. All economy is facing a grim future you know, Here, it is not just an expectation but a surety that the economy will grow more than predicted sorry not all economies are facing a grim future Economies like Kenya have no escape route because of your failures |

Shma: effects will unfold after corona endemic, even kenya is trying to shield her economy but recession is still inevitable. In this matter, our government will seek rescue from IMF to protect our economy. Ghana is not exceptional as it has done it a number of time before. IMF can only be our survivor during this tough time .. after corona virus there is economic growth for us My government will put enough money to manufacturers to get them in good positions to purchase raw materials . |

Shma: recession is inevitable bro especially during this corona endemic I wonder how is Ghana managing it? Only, Big countries(with stable economy) will survive, that's only within short period maybe less than a year or so. Kenya of course is likely to face recession and it will take us less than two years at most to recover, I wonder what will happen to Nigerian with there stagnant economy .. Ghana is managing just fine the impact of it will be less felt here. Hope Kenya comes out of it without picking up more debts |

[b]Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) usable foreign exchange reserves dropped Sh35.87 billion in the week to March 26, to over two-year lows. The decline comes on reduced inflows of export earnings due a freeze on imports of fruits and vegetables to China, reduced orders for flowers from consumers in Europe and the Middle East. This has been coupled with reduction in airfreight and shipping volumes due to closure of borders to fight spread of the coronavirus. Advertisement

rvp20182: Yes, that is what Ghana has been doing since 15th century. Build other economies. Not through their brains - but their brawl. You're the nearest to a human mule. Still manufacturing and exporting slaves.
Start BUILDING GHANA. In Kenya we have Buy Kenya. Build Kenya. Hahahaha you are so pissed that for 50 years of your independence, you have not been able to match Ghana's level of development and socio-economic progress. Ghanaian exceptionalism has led to a global clamour for their skills and mental fortitude. One that has brought in billions of dollars to Ghana. Always clamouring for Ghana's policy framework in other to make Kenya better like Ghana. |

rvp20182: IMF might want to disagree...especially as you are now calling for 17th bailout. You're the poster child for a mismanaged economy. An IMF guinea pig for all kinds of experiments. Meanwhile, the average Ghanian is escaping Ghana as we speak. At least we are not a Chinese lab rat I will pick the IMF over China that seeks to dismember a country. Good luck paying 80 billion in Chinese loans with that your useless economy The average Ghanaian is so educated and confident in himself such that they venture to go and create businesses in other countries to return billions into Ghana |

Vision 2020 document that was put together by the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) as Ghana's blue print for sustainable socio-economic development. This is why Ghana outmatch Kenya on all the socio-economics Ghana vision 2020 has mostly been achieved The Ghana economy is an emerging digital-based mixed economy with an increasing primary manufacturing sector and exportation of digital technology goods along with assembling and exporting automobiles and ships, agricultural products primarily cocoa, petroleum and natural gas and information and communications technology sectors. Ghana’s blue print for sustainable socio-economic development is the Vision 2020 document put together by the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC). With the economic program “Ghana: Vision 2020“, Ghana intends to achieve its goals of accelerated economic growth and improved quality of life for all its citizens. The document recognizes the fact that the only means by which the country’s resources can be used efficiently to achieve rapid economic growth while maintaining the integrity of the environment hinges is on the integration of Science and Technology in the various programmes. The NDPC which is the highest planning authority is responsible for coordinating the development programmes of all sectors in a manner as to ensure that sector policies and legislation concerning international cooperation for sustainable development are well coordinated and integrated to achieve the national goal. The utilization of Science and Technology to quickly deliver Ghana’s advancement to enhance the personal satisfaction for all while keeping up the honesty of nature is this nation’s present need being developed. In this way, all divisions are being urged to utilize science and innovation to address their project in a supportable way. Ghana’s public administration system has been decentralized to the district level thus making it possible for Districts to take responsibilities for their development programmes and resources in line with Ghana’s Vision 2020 programme. Cities, towns and communities have established bilateral informal relationship with their counterparts in the developed countries for purposes of development. Government is creating an enabling environment for the private sector to acquire and use environmentally sound technologies through international cooperation. |

rvp20182: Our vision has 3 pillars - the economy is one of the pillars. Our vision 2030 is to be like South Africa - a proper middle class. Not a cooked one like Nigeria or Ghana.
Once we get there - we will plan for 2050 - to be a developed country like UK or etc. Good luck dreaming you first have to build that concrete road 19km of the concrete road will cost you 2.5 billion dollars. For now you are broke |

rvp20182: Saudis and UAES - are working on diversify from Oil - they know it's unsustainable - so don't confuse FISCAL break point from real production break point. They can sell oil at 1 dollar and still make profit. But they are aggressively expanding their economy , saving and the works.
Don't confuse a rich country who has set a target to hit the moon - with Ghana whose target is in Nairobi. Their diversification has not yielded much result. Saudi selling oil at 1 dollar will mean no development for them They wont be able to keep their currency peg to the dollar. There will be a revolution They wont be able to give all the free things that they give to their citizens. All this noise you are making, The Saudis knows best and that is why they been running to Russia begging that Russia agrees to a cut in production |

rvp20182: Saudi Arabia is a lake of Oil. Continue dreaming. If not for US cajoling and pleading - they can crash everyone. Gawar oil field alone has 70B proven oil reserves. And if Oil is going to go out - don't think Saudis will wait for you to break even - they will flood the market with it. what is a lake of oil when oil brings them very little money such that they have to deplete their reserves in 2 years? Saudi flooding the market is just a foolish idea of them, they did it in 2014 to 2016 and lost 250 billion in reserves and Doug a 100 billion hole in their budget. Monies they've still not recovered. There will be a palace coup in Saudi before the other Princes allow Mbs to ruin the wealth of the kingdom. This is why Mbs is so paranoia and rounding up his cousins in hotels. |
