But kenya does not know how to be productive hence it is a consuming economy. And debt is not good for consumers

Im just trying to show you that countries who get IMF bailouts are not synonymous to countries who get loans. With loans you have no special treatment and you can do without them, its like me giving you a debt on friendly terms, for your own independently determined use, I dont dictate what you do with it, but which you have to repay as we agree. With IMF bailout, the conditions are different right from the beginning. You first have to be in serious economic ruin that your entire survival and future depends on urgent rescue. Basically you cant see your future beyond the next couple of years. Dont get confused son. The IMF then has to come up with a plan (slightly involving you ofcourse) whereby they decide where and how the money they give you will be used to resuscitate and stimulate the dying economy.

Exactly they are not the same.

One ends up in a debt trap and the other walks up chest high with a better economy that works for all it people.

China can take it money anytime it want

It is an investment China made in US treasury, just like when China invest in US stocks.

They can liquidate anytime they want.

Forget the locusts, they were in Russia, Italy and much of Europe last year. They are just trying to survive. Our economy projected to grow by 5.9 % this year, without IMF rescue packages

Europe, Russia have the finances to save their agriculture sector.

Ghana had armyworms last year or so but because we had money to mitigate the effects, we still made bumper harvest in grains.
As long as we are members of the IMF, we will make use of the monies that are available to our advantage than to borrow from elsewhere at expensive rates to solve bureaucratic matters.

Ghana is always readily sinking, so IMF usually doesnt even need to ask. They know when Ghana screams the ship is already halfway down

The last time Ghana economy was in a terrible state to warrant an IMF bailout and all aid agencies assistance was in the 70s to 80s.

And with all of those years of an idle state in GH economy, Kenya with twice the population couldnt even try to be better off than Ghana.

No son. As always you cant grasp the most basic econ 101. The term bailout itself comes from maritime history of rescuing a sinking ship. So when Ghana gets IMF bailout it basically gets rescued from sinking as a country. That is different from getting a loan, such as Kenya getting a loan from China to finance infrastructure projects. With Ghana, if the IMF bailout does not come, the economy enters a fresh tailspin, the currency collapses, the president is overthrown, the country goes to the dogs, etc. Dont get confused by these terms.

I am of the opinion , kenya Goverment decided to starve the institution of funds to promote its known corruption.
