rvp20182: Every Kenyan is a TRILINGUAL. There are few countries like that. We speak our mother tongue - and learn it in pre-primary to lower primary We learn English and Kiswahili until grade 12. Both English and Kiswahili are official languages. Any kenyan speak and understand both - except old village people for English.
Yet you guess we're successful convinse that speaking your language is unprofessional....
Now you see why your country is so messed up such that through one family, all your lands have been given to foreigners?
rvp20182: 5 million Nigerians all over Ghana - doing informal business - like driving Taxis - is clear indicator that something is wrong. Let us not talk about Shaolin gangs invading farms and forest - minning for gold - with excavators and poisonings your water.
Based on the evidence here - you guys are messed up. GOD BLESS Religious nutcases.
Fortunately, driving taxi is not an informal business.
Messed up us managed to developed our country and lift people out of poverty and slums by creating a huge improvement in their lives ...
Unfortunately, Colonialism and slavery in your own country has made you guys so lazy such that y'all can't seem to improve in life
rvp20182: Those are her words. My words from interrecting with you guys here. I agree with her entirely that Ghanaian standard of education is truly wanting. The kind of English prose we see from Ghanian is the worst I have seen - even with Tanzanians. And it's not you alone - it's everyone.
Now you are diverting
Once in Ghana, it is compulsory to learn any of the various Ghanaian languages because anyone of them will be the first language any person on the street or in the office will first approach you with.
Ghana was not successfully colonized like your country where you were taught that speaking your language is unprofessional...
rvp20182: There are many - Start with M-pesa Africa - my campus mate runs it
M-pesa Africa
Mobile financial services expert, who has directly managed mobile money in two of the largest markets in the world (Kenya & Tanzania). Current role is; CEO M-PESA Africa and Chief Financial Services Officer at Safaricom PLC. Responsible for managing and growing M-PESA in 7 markets in Africa with over 48M active customers and an annual revenue of over $ 1.3 billion (with the service revenue growing at double digits).
M-PESA is run by Safaricom and Vodacom in Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, the DRC, Lesotho, Ghana and Egypt. It provides customers with access to the widest agent network across the continent at more than 430,000 agent outlets and to cashless payments at more than 400,000 businesses.
will you please take out Ghana from your hallucinations
Mpesa failed in Ghana until MTN introduced a refined mobile payment service
rvp20182: No because like the 5m Nigerians before here - she found out - you are woosies that are easy to dominate. You're lazy, not aggressive, not educated and religious layabouts. Those are her words.
You don't have to be aggressive before you can make it and Ghana has obviously taught her that and that's is why she left her fellow lazy Kenyans behind to come to Ghana for greener pastures.
If Ghanaians were lazy like you Kenyans, all Ghanaians will be leaving in slums like you Kenyans... Fortunately, Ghanaians are not lazy but lay back like Canadians
rvp20182: I rather listen to this girl. Kenya private sector is thriving. Salaries are competing with developed world. Nobody want to emigrate in such numbers as Ghana.
rvp20182: When they stop building - know there is real estate glut - for office spaces - but if they are still building - there is still demand for office space - a sign of thriving private sector.
Thriving private sector lift many out of poverty. Public sector provide the safety net for the poor.
If like Ghana - you lack a private sector - just public sector and informal sector - everyone will want to emigrate abroad to get a decent job.
naa
When occupancy ratio is below 10% then you should know that it is a yahoo scheme that has been built because of lack of opportunities...
Unfortunately, Ghana does not lack a private sector and the private sector is the engine of growth of the Ghanaian economy and the largest employer. And that is why a lot of Ghanaians are out of the poverty gap.
I hope you private sector grows so that you guys can get out of poverty
rvp20182: Even assuming that was true - I personally dont see a big problem. Of course Kenya has one large african indigenous private sector. When you're under military dictatorship - kenya companies were growing.
As of now - there is local participation requirements - for many sectors.
The facts says it is true...
You don't see the problems with it for sure... And that's is why more Kenyans will remain poor and dwell in slums..
That demographics keep increasing in your country..
rvp20182: 100 flours building is manifestation of moving people out of poverty. It the simplest demonstration of an economy firing on all it's cylinders. How is the slum dweller like the dude here going to make it when Soweto to Joburg -where he can find work - is such a big distance.
Dont compare yourself with dead Europe - that developed long time ago - when building technology had not advanced.
If you cities sprawl - how will you manage it?
How come those 100 floors building are usually empty in your country ?
Naaa, it's a sign of an economy that is handi*capped with only real estate speculation as the only avenue of investment..
leQubit: lets talk about the Chinese people in Ghana...You once said Ghana got more than 1 million white folks..Now i believe you were confusing Chinese with white people
leQubit: i aint hating bro but Ghana ? No way..Nothing interesting there..maybe the slave market an stuff like that..Maybe you should stop trolling an start posting real Ghana for folks to get exited an visit...The Facade brush ya using is not helping bro
Everything is interesting in Ghana
That's why everyone wants to be in Ghana. Here is where a lot is happening.
No one wants anything to do with Kenya, it is so stagnant and undeveloped.
rvp20182: The same tiny low middle-class estates on 1/8 of land without any foliage. The majority looked like Nairobi Metro - without any good infrastructure. There is a reason why the Ghana president picked Nairobi to be your north star.
low middle class estate yet nothing in Kenya can match them. Especially how developed their infrastructure is.
That means Kenyabs live in horrible squalor.
There is a reason why more and more kenyans keep trooping into Ghana to make a living and attend school.
rvp20182: Madman with mad stats; as always. Ghana is BANANA republic - small Nigeria
80% of Ghana's revenue comes from exports of three major commodities: gold, crude oil and cocoa. Unfortunately, shipments of crude oil and cocoa have been drastically reduced during the past year, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
60% of Ghana's revenue comes from indirect taxes
Keep being delusional
Kenya is a BANANA republic which produces only useless stuffs that no one wants.
