rvp20182: Not true. Even during 2020 covid-19 - we managed to grow our export by 500M dollars from 595 to 640B kshs...that is almost 6.5B dollars - zero minerals. Ghana dropped 1B dollars..and out 14.5B dollars...only cocoa (unprocessed beans) of about 2B dollars is non-minerals...exporting raw materials to rest of the world - with zero value add.
Major exports in Ghana -Banana republic Oil. Gold. Cocoa. Timber. Tuna. Bauxite. Aluminium. Manganese ore.
rvp20182: Go for eye surgery. Unless you're confusing your adopted country South Africa with Ghana.
when you fix the mess in Kenya, you will have communities as developed and good as East Legon, Airport Hills, Cantoment, Labone, Ridge, Dzorwulo and so many others in Ghana or like they have in SA
rvp20182: I like fixed demand. And we are definitely going somewhere better...this year we will have Africa's BIGGEST ECONOMIC GROWTH - projected at 8%. Sound like we are going to soon overtake Morocco...and become top 5 economy in Africa
As for South Africa - DEAD AS DODO economy
where is that place again?
For 10 years your country export value has remained stagnant.
rvp20182: The result of your city planning is there to see with naked eyes. I see the little approval you do is completely gov run. The public, neighborhoods, and interested stakeholders do not have a role. No wonder anything gets approved. In Kenya the hardest permit of getting approval - is the public and your neighborhood - and you have to do the environmental assessment for any big project bla bla. You cannot come and erect your tin-roof hovel next to my house. I have the right to object.
yes naked eyes my city is there to see. The question is why no where in kenya can look as beautiful and developed like most part of my city?
Every day you come on here blabbing
That explains why zinc buildings are a thing in your country. That shit will not get approved here
rvp20182: Yet we have 23 flour building that looks like Kenke dress. How did they get their approval? I even doubt if Ghana has any approval of building plans - it appears to be such a mess - sort build whatever you want.
it was in a special case where the rules had to be bent to allow it. ..
All building plans goes for approval before building permits are awarded.
rvp20182: By choice - they restrict height - but where is proof that Ghana dwarf building has anything to do with approval permits or zoning. The entire city of Accra is a hodgepodge of all sorts of ramshackle therefore I doubt there is any planning or zoning.
Their lack of tall buildings, therefore, is due to their informal economy, more than any zoning laws.
Accra restricts all building heights to 15 floors by choice.
The entire Nairobi is a puddle of slums and it all comes back to the absurd level of poverty which makes home owning impossible for 10 million Nairobi residents.
That also explain why they don't consume enough electricity to make that dark country bright which also explains the level of decay and undeveloped nature of kenya
Saddamochieng00: Good to see you're comparing a town of 8000 to another with half a mil. We don't allow our towns to reach that level and still look that crappy. The moment a town hits quarter mil we start investing huge sums of money to turn it into a city.
Like i told you, your town is too small to compare to an area like Kwabenya.
The number of housing and quality of housing there can't be match by anywhere in Kenya.
Your towns need to Catch up to real massive development Big mouths dont develop a country, if Nairobi is still struggling to be a city, which town in Kenya does those investment go to?
Saddamochieng00: You ugly ape face Ghanians I want you to look at this video and see the difference in terms of quality of cars. This is not like your shitty craphole where 30yr old cars are still jamming up your equally crappy roads.
Shma2020: TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE SLUMS IN A WEENY COUNTRY LIKE GHANA...!!!
Small small countries like yours should not have even a single slum but wonder no more... A teensy weeny hobbitopia wonderland is having a grand figure of 265 slums in one single city!!!
and yet you cant list even 5
noise maker
10 million nairobi slum dwellers are crying for better homes
Your city is a jungle slum and that makes it what it is. Eradicating it will mean disbanding your entire country and that won't work on the native citizens.
