rvp20182: If kenya that grows half it wheat is begging - how about Ghana that doesnt even know how wheat crop look like. Again if you have data - not your online vommit - I am happy to engage my brains.
At least we try in Kenya -consumption of about 900,000 tonnes per year, and an annual wheat production of approximately 350,000 tonnes.
Ghana - Zero wheat production.
Ghana has enough money to buy whatever it needs, Kenya does not. 🤣😂
Ghana consumes 450,000 metric tonnes for flour making.
We need our land for a much important rice production.
Poor Kenya should try producing at least half of in 1.2 million tonnes rice import
vankelvin: Serious obsession and it's getting worst
There are some Kenyan YouTubers who even when their contents are not about Ghana they still use some Ghanaian identity or our Presidents picture as their thumbnail just to attract views. It's crazy
rvp20182: 33m times 1MW slowpoke is 30,000MW. That is South Africa level. Your installed capacity is 5,000MW. Your generation capacity is 3,000MW - normally it about 2,000MW - with most going into smelting aluminum.
Like this graph shows - you have slightly advantage over kenya in per capita usage.
Shma2023: Is there any other Ghana around? The Ghana that we know is a zoo; under Poor country debt initiative program. Yet they have extracted gold for decades.
A ZOO!
At this point, you're just making noise
One day, Zoo Kenya will be able to Spend 18 billion dollars to provide enough electricity for Kenyans so that each Kenya will be able to consume 1000kw like Ghanaians do but that time is not now.
Now Kenya is busy looking for a 3rd IMF bailout in the space of less than 3 years. A broke country leaving 50% of it population in darkness.
rvp20182: The assumption being you grow your own cheap wheat? Kenya at least grow wheat...about half our consumption. You dont harvest even one bushell of wheat. Kenya normally charges just 13% duty on wheat to protect kenya wheat farmers Now it's duty free.
So slowpoke how can Ghana imported wheat become cheaper than Kenya
And start to grow even one acre of wheat
Meanwhile Kenya is busy begging around the world for wheat and struggling to buy rice or corn.
Try explaining why a 50kg bag of wheat in Kenya cost 48 dollars averagely while the same thing costs less than 30 dollars in Ghana
as usual... I deal with real prices and not change in price. Even a 40% change in prices in Ghana did not earn up making things more expensive than in kenya.
As evident in the fact that Ghanaians have a better standard of living and QOL
vankelvin: Its really surprising how almost all kenyan YouTubers and bloggers find every opportunity to compare their country with Ghana. Why do I have the feeling the name Ghana torments the life out of kenyans because eii, this ain't normal
There is this sudden craz for interviewing African Americans who have moved from Ghana to settle in Kenya? Why don't they interview those who moved from Kenya to settle in Ghana as well?
rvp20182: Kenya lead the world in solar home systems - those are ones without main electricity - and kenya has world fastest electrification - census was 2019 - by now - in 2023 - 3million more have been connected.
Data is easy to verify - we have one electricity supply company - KPLC.
It does not show on your census data or in satellite view of your country.
Your people are poor such that even with a critical lack of electricity, they can't afford solar.
Let me remind you of what happened after 2019 in Kenya, total depression
Shma2023: Boy, do you have hearing imparements? Why are you acting silly when facts is staring straight into your glaucoma-infested eyes?
I didn't sat that. Your govnt did. I'am not arguing from the point of ignorance, you are. THE HELL!
I've (we've) presented several facts; that Ghana to Kenya comparison is a non-starter! Day and niaret is the difference. Travelers who have been to Kenya and Ghana will tell you that. Your president will give you facts. Resident dimwit. A ret@rded hobbit will still disagree.
argue with facts
So far, this is the fact on housing data from Ghana census data
Don't worry, Kenya will one data catch up and build proper houses than the mud and zinc houses common by 45% in your country
rvp20182: Only 6.9m are connected to main electricity out of 8.3 million. At least a million household or 4m plus Ghanians are still on kerosene lamps - worry about those.
Kenya is a success story in electricity. Maybe you want to face Nigeria.
Kenya likely to achieve universal electricity coverage in 2-3yrs.
We are adding 1M plus annually - right now we should be at 10m - so next year we hit 11-12 - the year after we got to 13m.
Few who will remain will have clean solar systems.
I just told you that, using the Census data (7.2 million households)
Kenya is too backward in terms of electricity... It only has 50% of it's population connected according to Kenya Census data.
The rest are either burning wood or kerosene or sleeping in darkness. Others too rely on torch lights
Shma2023: It was even projected on the screen. Buffoon. I won't argue over facts. The fact that your own people are so incompetent even on matters of Official affairs _ it goes without saying that your republic is a zoo.
In Kenya such can't happen without being corrected on the spot. Especially when the head of state or high ranking government official is in attendance
Still a misrepresentation and that it why it is called a preliminary.
As you can see, the official data does not support your claim. 🤣😂
The census data is very clear, comprehensive and easy to read. It's one of the best Census done on the continent unlike the fraudulent nonsense you guys did in Kenya.
rvp20182: I used household. South Africa has around 18-19m. Kenya 12-13m. Ghana 8-9M households. Electricity is connected to households, facilities, businesses and such.
South Africa has 17M connected to main electricity - Kenya is 9m - Ghana is about 4m - those are customers of electricity customers.
Solar home systems include lights, fridges, tvs, radios and of course solar water heating.
For the poor of course it mostly lighting, radio, phone charging and small tv.
Ghana has 8.3 million households and household size is 3.6 which is lower than in Kenya.
The Census data proves what everyone has told you here., 88% of Ghana's population are connected and only 1 million households ain't. Now keep your alternative theory to yourself. 😂🤣
Shma2023: Shackman. You you're the minority ---- 1% of those who live in metal houses in SA - I sympathise with you when you stoop this low. Don't massage Ghanian Ego. Ghana is worse. In ghana, 20% live in a metal and wooden homes. Fact-check @:34 I am not peddling desperation and lies like you and your new partner : THE HOBBIT _ RESIDENT MADMAN.
Shma2023: Boy. Watch the video. That's is your government saying that. Not me. You're just a random hobbit who bases your facts on Google. I'm giving you first-hand information. I don't need to see blogs and conjured data. Watch the video from 31 there about. You're too lucky they have categorized your mad houses under a conventional structure which accounts for 78% - with the predominant one being madhouses. Meaning, Ghana has pretty much 55%-65% of both mud, wooden, and metal houses.
I've watched it and looking at the same census data as presented by the statistical service on their website, you can see that it was a misrepresentation by the media as it is not supported by the fact of the Census data.
AfriqueDuZuid: I think you also forget to factor the fact that Ghana is almost half the population of kenya.
Solar for lights and charging phones, it's not a small solar home system. It's just solar lights...
😂🤣😂
He's confusing solar touch lights for a source of electricity... Those nonsense are available everywhere to everyone whose doesn't have access to electricity.
Shma2023: Why are you shifting goal posts? Where did you get 45% from? Where is Ghanian data for mad house so that we can contrast and make an objective submission? Where did you get data for zinc houses, and what does it correlate with? Do you have data for your own or your government is broke that it can't fund intensive census? do you think you're doing justice for yourself or the Vice_V?
No one is shifting goal post...
I got the 45% from your country census data.. I know you don't like to read, data on zinc properties are available in your country's census data.
I just posted my country census data , you can read on a breakdown of properties with numbers
Ghana has 10 million houses and only one million of them is not connected to electricity. Add houses with multi units and Ghana has 13 million metered units.
Kenyans who can't afford to build proper houses such that 45% of properties in Kenya are mud, zinc houses will never afford solar.
Maybe you're referring to solar touch light which is not a source of electricity but lighting 😂🤣
Next time you want to compare your shithole to Ghana, think critically,. We are not Mates
rvp20182: Kenya is ahead because those not connected to mains - are almost all using solar power.
Dream on Lunatic. 😂🤣😂
No wonder Kenya look so dark, they conjure solar in the night. I learnt the touch light business is booming in Kenya since half of Kenya (30 million) go to bed without electricity.
