That article is last week. Any link to that breaking news where broke Ghanian electricity money paid 1.4B dollars. Prepare for dumsor as IPPS will shut down operation as they wont be able to pay for diesel or gas.
Yes and ECG has managed to kul them down by going on debt collection. No dumsor will happen here untill 2024 when Ghana will have fully consumed all of it surplus electricity.

Ghana does not use diesel for electricity, learn sense. And they don't have to pay for gas, they just have to owe Ghana Gas and ECG and govt will sort it out.😂

You're so desperate such that you can't even type properly..

Half of Kenya is still in darkness in this day and age while Israeli companies rip you guys off. 😂🤣

Sorry it ain't going to happen

We are not in a bankrupt Kenya.

ECG effectively collected a lot of the debt owed it last week to pay a good portion of the debt it owe.

Next desperate dream 🤣😂

Maybe next year Ghana will start having power problems again because we will be close to 5,000Mw consumption

Stop projecting and go talk to you buddies in the list below. Everytime a Ghanian talk macro-economics - I want to literally puke. WHAT ARE YOU SAYING

Fitch Ratings-London-29 March 2023: There have been 14 separate default events since 2020, across nine different sovereigns, a marked increase compared with 19 defaults across 13 different countries between 2000 and 2019, says Fitch Ratings in a new report. A record five Fitch-rated sovereigns are in default: Belarus, Lebanon, Ghana, Sri Lanka and Zambia
Keep projecting to deflect

So far, all of Ghana's creditors have told the world that Ghana is not in default.

Kenya: This country is not a serious one

1) massive external debt
2) money is LEAVING country
3) they rely on USD (!!) REMITTANCES
4) Current acct is extreme negative
5) massive trade imbalance

The sign of disaster

PoliticsRe: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Just40: 11:53am On Apr 05, 2023
Expect more hunger this year in Kenya especially with dollar selling at 145kshs

A weak shilling has pushed the debt up by another 351 billion shillings... What a shit show

This means Kenya borrowed on the domestic market not in shillings but in dollars as well.

You guys are ready stupid

External debt...overvalued naira..will eventually devalue..doubling your External debt. With 10b dollars in revenue you already cant repay debt.States are also choking in their debt.I called out Ghana default years before due to their External debt.Nigeria is heading there
except Ghana hasn't defaulted on any of it external debt.

Meanwhile I called a default for Kenya, years ago and you've been defaulting for 3 years now and now your country is bankrupt with everything put on hold.

Even Mexico, Iraq, Syria and Pakistan all receive tourists.

And the idea was found to be idiotic - only Ghana can send kids for six month at home - then bring others. Build schools.

There is no double track nonsense in Kenya.

Yet we have achieved 100% transition of primary kids to secondary - since 2018.
Funny enough we have more schools than Kenya and we build better and larger ones all the time.

No sane country will talk about 100% transition when there are obviously those who will fail and need to resit or be coached into the technical and alternative education

Nairobi, Joburg, capetown has slums.
Accra, Darslum are slums.
How can someone come to Ghana for example and decide where a slum start or ends when it's fully integrated.
Nairobi slum residence are now less than 50% - but they are jam packed in a very small area - 2.5% of Nairobi land mass
Biggest Kibera is mere 2.5 sqm. The rest are tiny - but have 50,000 people per square kilometres.
Kenya slums are illegal settlement in gov forests, river valleys and public reserve land - they will eventually be demolished.
Ghana slums are legal - you wake up and build a slum in your plot.
Go argue with the world bank and UN Habitat

They are the ones who described a huge section to the tune of 70% of Nairobi as slum... And named it the slum Capital of Africa

Accra has not degraded to that level yet

You own president wont have used Nairobi as North Star.
Dar is like Accra - just slightly better.
Nairobi slums occupy 2.5 percent of the land and 5 percent of built up area - hidden in river valleys and forests.
Dar Slum occupy 95 percent of the land.

Ask KaziKazi to provide you with drone shot of Dar Slums.

It will be like Accra - they will have to show small section of it.
The world bank and UN Habitat says 70% of Nairobi residents live in slums.

So Accra and Nairobi are not similar.

This explains why Ghanaians here can post every part of Accra and not be Afraid unlike Kenyans who can only post a small 2km apart area.

Kenyans shouldn't be talking about slum when such a huge section of Nairobi is slum
