AfriqueDuZuid: There's already plans being implemented.
Again these breakdowns are due to employee strike and backlog of maintenance from years back.
So until the maintenance if finished and new renewable energy plans is put in to national grid... They'll be disruptions Renewable energy is a farce for now.... I think we've seen too many lessons already. |

It served no purpose in being in the common wealth The US was never richer than the UK.... It only became, after 1970 and the whole transfer of wealth to the US. The US never joined because of the American revolution and what emerged out of it |

It's sarcasm at its best. You wouldn't treat your guests the way you would treat a regular caller. Baller254: You are an idiot, Uhuru was subsidising everything bankrupting the country paying his family cronies in those industries, continued subsidies would have caused an economic collapse.
Ruto has come in and stopped all subsidies to deal with core issues that cause the high prices, we will see the results after 3 to 4 months, soon he will subsidise the production end like ferterlizers, equipment and machinery instead of the actual products like the fool Uhuru. It takes a year for an economy to fully adjust from subsides |

Shma2022: No one disputed that. I even highlighted that in my previous submission. Only Ph.D. holders of applied maths are exceptional.
I know your brain is tired already. You've just been copying and pasting things you google on the internet.
Next time don't argue things you have zero clue on. you not just PhD holders but even masters and bachelor holders of Applied Mathematics do exception work. If you know that, then why are you here arguing? Or you think applied mathematics is just about that small aspect you see in finance that you use to do your profit and loss analysis? Which is just basic Or you think the reading aspect of financial engineering can hold water? I'll tell you that it's just close to economics. Everything you do in financial engineering is just a topic or a sub topic in Applied mathematics You'll do scientific computing in numerical analysis, under statistics and probability you have inferential and deferential stat, financial maths, Then you have mathematical finance which has hedging, algorithmic trading, derivative pricing, portfolio optimization and etc. At Analysis you have honours analysis and honours complex variables Why will I have to copy something I've done? |

Shma2022: Dude, financial engineering is a whole f*ckin course( it was a unit in my acturial science course. ) Applied maths is just basic maths applied in specific fields. Financial engineering is a f*cking complex course as it draws on tools from both spectrum of complex units, Applied maths not being exception.
Don't be this dense!!! And yes, pure maths is the root of applied maths, applied & pure maths stretches it's link to financial engineering. you seem to argue for argument sake. All the calculation in financial engineering was developed in Applied mathematics. Know this and go to bed Good luck on that. |

Shma2022: If you didn't understand anything about what I posted, ask. Don't embarrass yourself with your logistics knowledge. Applied maths are basic mathematical concepts that can be engineered in any field. Lemme give you a simple example: data structure and algorithm ( used in programming). For you to start developing webs and apps, you need to be well versed with algorithms and data structures --- APPLIED MATHS.
For financial engineering course; you need to know programming, maths(calculus 1,2,3, probability stats, complex analysis, stochastic process, algorithm,....) economy, regression modelling, computer financial model, financial technology, quantitative finance, in detail. Financial engineering is more burdensome compared to applied Maths. Unless you're doing a Ph.D. in it. ( Phd in any math related topic is a no go zone) You're doing mouth mouth in addition... Boy just keep quiet already |

Shma2022: Very shallow. Stochastic calculus allows consistent theory of integration to be defined for integrals - they are passed through stochastic before being driven to the final value needed to formulate a X & Y ( semimartingale) . The integrals are the key elements // functions in this subjects, which are majorly used for calculation.
Quadratic equations will thereafter guide you to arrive at your final destination. ( that's after you obtain the variables)
Applied maths is shallow. In Financial engineering: Stochastic calculus for instance; you need to understand the martiangle convergence & optional sampling theorem from starter! - these are tiny substrata in integral analysis. let me laugh Do you even understand the things you're talking about? This write up screams of someone who hasn't done Applied mathematics before. |

Shma2022: You are portraying your lack of knowledge in the subject at hand. Applied maths are fundamentals -- basic of it all. Financial engineering include complex topics like stochastic calculus, time series analysis, pure financial stats in details.. And of course optimization theory in financial analysis.
Applied maths is like statistic programming 1 while the latter is pr stats 2. Stochastic calculus is just the combination of the theory of integration and calculus... These are basic applied mathematics. series analysis is also basic Applied mathematics ( when you handle numerical data, you do series analysis. Economist do it too) it is captured in relation and also mechanics. Anyone that handle numerical data transferable to graphics make those analysis too. Engineers, Doctors, Economist all do Infact, we deal with a complex form in aerodynamics |

That is why you transfer knowledge from Applied mathematics to understand financial engineering. Do you understand what transfer of knowledge means now? It means down the pecking order |

Shma2022: Yes, I rank medicine ahead of any engineering course. Of all the engineering courses, only Aeronautical engineering comes above Computer Science. FYI, I leaned financial engineering as a unit in Actuarial science. The unit was not as tough as complex math and actuarial math III.
You don't know what you're saying. medicine? funny kid. Actuarial math in all it form is just basic when you're specializing in most fields of engineering. Financial engineering and it associated math is just a transfer of knowledge from Applied mathematics. You're doing perpetuities, Annuities, cash flows , abitrates, interest rates and co and you're still complaining difficulty? What if you have to deal with hierarchy fluid flow equations, turbulence models and co? |

Shma2022: You think your brain can handle statistical programming? I don't think so. Physics< is a weak maths. =! ( not equal To) Intense maths in actuarial science.
Go to actuarial class or any computer science class and the next day you'll be picked mad.
CFD is studied in software engineering. sometimes you post the most stupid things that make me wonder how low your IQ must be. People sit at home, all on their own and understand statistical programing.. something so basic such that my kid sis who has done 80% of her computer science education from home has understood it indepth. Is that what you want to compare to fluid dynamics? Something so hard that everyone time after time have to remodel the maths because of failure after observation from application. Almost everything that you do in actuarial science, Engineering does and go far beyond what your mind will understand by specifications. So basically actuarial is just the beginner to any field of core engineering. You're lost... Do you even know what CFD is? Isn't the word computation that is confusing you? The computation just mean calculation CFD Is a specialization that combined Engineering (Core engineering, Software engineering and other fields of engineering), physics Chemistry, Mathematics. Combining all that knowledge to apply it to fluids, liquid, gases, plasma and how they behave under pressure, weight and temperature changes. |
