Politics / Rain Disturbed Edo For Seven Years, That’s Why We Didn’t Build Roads – Oshiomho by Justcash(m): 12:24pm On Nov 15, 2015 |
Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has given reasons why his administration did not build any industry in the state. Adams Oshiomhole said he never promised to build Industries during his campaign, That his campaign promise was to create the enabling environment for investments to thrive in the state. It is a fact that no single industry was built in Edo State throughout the Seven years the Governor has been in office. He also accused his predecessors of building Industries to siphon money. He named four industries; Fertilizer plant, Auchi; Cassavita Industry, Uromi; Chemical Plant; Ikpeshi; and Fruit Juice Factory, Ehor built by the previous administration, that all was built with second hand equipment and at inflated prices. “The only value of these industries are the land spaces they occupy,” “Our responsibility is to get the private sector build industries by creating the enabling environment and not to build any.” said Oshiomhole. He asked if anyone has ever drunk or bought any of these products, adding that his administration tried selling them (industries) but no buyer was willing to purchase because of their depreciating value. He noted that the same previous government in their usual characteristic sold Okpella Cement with the intention to use it as a base for re-bagging of cement until he waded in, disclosing that very soon, Okpella Cement Industry would come back on stream through a private initiative. Governor Adams Oshiomhole, however promised to leave for his successor, a robust revenue,he further said that in the past seven years of his administration, a lot of private initiatives have been built, giving the establishment of furniture company using bamboo at Anegbete as example because government was able to build roads in that area which in turn attracted that private company to the area. Governor Oshiomhole further disclosed on Bendel Brewery, that the court case between Churchgate, who are the core investors and the company contributed to the stalling of progress and non-rehabilitation of the company. He however promised that with his negotiation with AMCON, assuredly that very soon, Bendel Brewery would back. While speaking on the state of roads in the state especially Benin City, the governor promised mass rehabilitation of roads and the continuation of existing ones, saying that the reason for this was as a result of rains for seven years, which according to him was not conducive for road construction and rehabilitation. “Now that the rains appear to have subsided and the dry season fast approaching, we have spoken with all the contractors working on our roads and they have been mobilized and would soon go back to site. This is in addition to the rapid response agency to patch up and resurface bad spots with the metropolis”. Governor Adams Oshiomhole however promised that in the next 12 months, all projects initiated by his administration would be completed, leaving none behind. Gbawe: In 3 Months, Buhari has proven to be the worst president that Nigeria has ever had. He has destroyed everything. Look at the Economy, in absolute tatters. You are here calling GEJ's name when he has since left the post a long time ago. When will you get past GEJ and focus on the present administration? I pity all of una wey dey support this inept leader called Buhari. |

Zico5: You sound like Oshiomole. Try a new phrase. "Go and Die" is becoming stale and boring. Even if I die, it won't stop Buhari from returning Nigeria to the pre-1999 condition where the economy was dormant and simple stuffs like GSM were non-existent. By the time Buhari finishes with you, you will look for a job as a cobbler and you won't find. 1 Like |

Politics / Buhari Is A Tyrant, An Ethnic Bigot And Very Corrupt by Justcash(m): 2:57pm On Sep 26, 2015 |
Before the last elections, Nigerians were warned about the dangers of electing Buhari as president. Nigerians were warned that Buhari is the following; A Tyrant: He relies on absolute control of power and arbitrary decision making. This is evident in the fact that I t is almost 100 days of his leadership, and he is finding it very difficult to appoint ministers to help him to run the country. More still, his mode of appointments is based on his ability to control his appointees like puppets rather than capabilities. This is why he has appointed mostly people with military background than true technocrats. AN ETHNIC BIGOT: While many of his supporters will like us to believe that Buhari's appointments are based on merit, one is left to wonder why his appointments are so skewed to his own region. Moreover, he has systematically marginalized some other ethnic groups even though these groups boast of some of the best technocrats and professionals that are also qualified for those positions. Well, it is not surprising because Nigerians were warned that Buhari is very divisive and he does not pretend about it. He cares very much about the dominance of his ethnic group over competence and capability. VERY CORRUPT: Well, it is not only stealing that is corruption. Appropriating authority for personal gains is also corruption. Buhari has not hidden the fact that it is his cronies and supporters that will enjoy the benefits of his new found political power. He has made this fact very clear. What he does not know is that such an action is also an act of corruption. Moreover, Buhari has pardoned well known political criminals like Sylva, Amaechi and Tinubu. He foot dragged when Fashola was pointed out for corruption, but he pounced on Saraki in a show of misappropriation of power. Moreover, he still dines with OBJ, ATIKU and other hegemons that stole Nigeria blind. Vindictiveness is also a very important trait of Buhari. He will spend these four years chasing the people that wronged him in the past while the socio-economic and political spheres of Nigeria will crumble and retrogress into oblivion. THE PROBLEM WITH NIGERIA IS NOT CORRUPTION. IT IS LEADERSHIP INEPTITUDE. WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD LEADERS THAT DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO LEAD AND WHAT TO DO. It is possible to bring progress in the midst of corruption but impossible to do so in the face of leadership ineptitude. BUHARI IS THE WORST LEADER THAT NIGERIA WILL EVER HAVE. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

I'm saying this literally without taking it as an insult to you. These were the same people that Nigerians tried so hard to destroy and term incompetent because of sectional politics. Nigerians truly deserve the likes of Amaechi and Oshiomole as ministers. Nigeria is allergic to world class leadership. 6 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: The coach is very useless. He boasted the other day that they just want to stroll in and take what belongs to them (Gold). He has just been beaten by a female coach that understands how to treat matches even if there is nothing at stake. Our problem is unnecessary pride and lack of right attitude. |
Sports / Re: All Africa Games Nigeria Vs Senegal by Justcash(m): 4:57pm On Sep 12, 2015 |
safarigirl: Which is why they should have whooped the ass of Senegal or at least, they should have used them to learn co-ordination. They were so disappointing. They better sit up. Nigeria should be able to raise 11 players at anytime to compete head to head with teams like Spain, Brazil, Argentina etc. That is, if we claim to be good in soccer. |
Sports / Re: All Africa Games Nigeria Vs Senegal by Justcash(m): 4:54pm On Sep 12, 2015 |
safarigirl: Nigeria cannot beat the U.S. In basketball, but the U.S. can beat Nigeria in soccer. That is what I mean. If we claim to be a soccer powerhouse, the nonsense that these dudes played this evening is absolutely unacceptable! Simple! |
Sports / Re: All Africa Games Nigeria Vs Senegal by Justcash(m): 4:45pm On Sep 12, 2015 |
TheSuperNerd: So, the fact that they scored a late goal is your consolation? The Senegalese team needed a draw, we had the match in our hands (win or lose) and the players had the opportunity to use this match to train (mesmerize their opponent), but they went there and played absolute nonsense. You think if the reverse was the case Senegal for no finish Nigeria? Anyway, I wish them goodluck with their lacklustre performance. I think I'll be better off focusing on the Falcons. |

Samson Siasia was interviewed at the end of the match, and he was very disappointed with the approach and attitude of his players. Even the coach felt my pain watching that match. BTW, I am a Barca and Naze Warriors fan. |
Sports / Re: All Africa Games Nigeria Vs Senegal by Justcash(m): 4:33pm On Sep 12, 2015 |
safarigirl: I watched the match. The Nigerian team is not good at all. The U.S. can boast of being one of the best in basketball, lawn tennis, golf and many other games. Right now, they are even rising in soccer. Look at their league. India is one of the best in Cricket and China owns diving and gymnastics. Can the same be said about Nigeria? Apart from soccer, what else can Nigeria boast of being good in when compared to other countries around the world? Yet, we cannot find 11 players that can beat any team, anyday. |
Sports / Re: All Africa Games Nigeria Vs Senegal by Justcash(m): 4:27pm On Sep 12, 2015 |
TheSuperNerd: I watched it from the beginning till the end. At a point, I prayed that Senegal should score so that they will wake up. The Nigerian boys played as if they had no vision. Even Siasia was disappointed at the end. They can't trap balls, poor passing, zero dribbling skills, heavy all round, breathing as if all of them play in cold regions and very stale infront of goal. It is sad watching these dudes. |
Sports / Re: All Africa Games Nigeria Vs Senegal by Justcash(m): 3:58pm On Sep 12, 2015 |
Even with the draw, this Nigerian team is a big joke. Why is it that Nigerian players are so lazy, sluggish, uncoordinated, full of useless pride and uninspiring? So, out of 170 million people, Nigeria cannot produce 100 high class and deadly players? NA WA O! |
