On Vitamin C. I am still trying to figure this out, and would appreciate any help/explanation. ![]() It's of noteworthy that taking too much (mega-doses) of Vitamin C during pregnancy could cause problem for the newborn. Sometimes, it could increase the risk of preterm birth...etc. Therefore, preg. women are cautioned on the intake of V.C #Google. Now, what happens when we take too much fruits that are good sources of Vitamin C, such as fresh fruits and vegetables especially citrus fruits? Would it have similar effect? |

Thanks, breadplanets! Yes, I did brush the pies up with egg before placing them in the oven. They came out so well, tastier. lol @miracle of the yeast. Now. how do I know when the yeast is active and live? I didn't use a hot water, but warm as instructed. ![]() |

My Fourth experiment was in making a basic white sandwich bread. Project FAILED woefully as the dough wouldn't RISE (smh) even after placing it in a warm place for several HOURS! No thanks to the yeast. I'm sorry there is no photograph... ![]() The outcome was harder than a saussage. Smh. I followed the instructions here: www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-basic-white-sandwich-bread-cooking-lessons-from-the-kitchn-166588 #BreadMaking #Bake4Fun. |
For the pie filling, I had the following as suggested by the website I subscribed to: -Minced chicken/meat , Carrot , Garlic , Irish Potato , 2 tablespoons of flour , Onion , Cool water I would suggest you read up the procedure on this weblink. It was pretty helpful. www.nigerianfoodtv.com/2012/11/how-to-make-nigerian-meat-pie.html?m=1 |
