Greetings to bakers in the house. Really, you all are doing great job with your pastry works, cake decorations etc. What an ART, baking is! grin

For the first time, recently, I did try to explore the world of cake making!

** Prior to this time, I have always enjoyed munching the end products than participating in the baking process** no thanks to my love for another art, knitting.

With this thread, I would be sharing my journey into the world of baking...and, would be glad to have suggestions from professionals out there. I am still a Learner with the capital 'L'. A very big one at that! And, Just a month old in the art...

The first photograph shows my first attempt -Cake! #NoDecorations. Recipe/Instructions were gotten off the internet.

I already had a miscarriage

As carrier of the Rhesus Factor, you are expected to take the RhoGAM shot immediately after miscarriage, abortion etc. If you missed taking this, then, you'd need undergo a lab test to know if you are sensitized, already or not. Also, knowing the Rhesus group of your foetus would be appropriate. As this would help you/your Dr. to take informed decision.

During pregnancy, It's usually advisable to take a shot at 28weeks and another within 72 hours after delivery. (though, i wasnt aware of the 28th week shot until recently)

Doctor's orders. I think it depends on your hospital but it's standard practise where I registered to give one shot before and then one shot after (depending on if the baby is rh+). I took my first shot after 30 weeks (my initial hospital didn't mention it to me sef).

I've read that you're even meant to take it after an abortion, miscarriage because of a chance of blood-mixing.

1 Pair of Slippers
Sanitary Pad (Lady Sept)
Bathing Soap and Sponge

Rhesus Neg here. They will give you a Rhogam shot (I'm getting 2, one before and one after birth). No worries (but not to be scary, but do you have a close contact with the same blood group as you, nearby? Always good to know one).

Hi Onegai, Could you pls share why you are taking 2 shots (At 28weeks and after delivery?) I am #JustCurious. During my first and second pregnancy I took only one shot at each, and that was after delivery. Thanks.

Iffffffy, there's'nothing to worry about. Firstly, do you know if your husband is Rhesus Positive or Negative? If Positive, then, you'd be taking the RhoGAM shot within 72hours after delivery, else, if he is Rhesus Negative, you may not have to. Kindly, await others view, too.

Yesterday, I took my second T.T injection. And, it really was so painful, i couldnt help but screamed/cried cheesy

Now, I got a swollen arm. No thanks to the needle...! Smh.

When she said she was 6cm dilated and felt no pain?.. Aaaaah, I felt, NO, this must be supernatural (Remembering my last experience at 0.01cm. Lol). So, snappily, I tendered my 'utmost' request to the Lord because only Him can empower our inner man.

The good thing is that, it all ended in praise. Thank God. Congrats, Once Again Biggal.
