Blazetrailer: Lol....look at the person asking someone to read.
China can get away with almost anything now, it is the production hub of the world.
You produce nothing but want to apply the chinese devaluation tactics? You will hawk your country on TEMU for free...mumu dem!!
Nigeria recorded a trade surplus of N5.81tn in the third quarter of 2024. I trust you know what means. As much as you've chosen to see no growth in your country, the fact remains, the country is moving vertically.
Ofodirinwa: when i was younger, I used to think these types of economic articles and observations were worth a human being's time. Now I realize that this is a rant about how the ruined currency is helping people from the UK buy more drinks at a club in VI.
Meanwhile the people reading, and sometimes writing (they're often abroad based) this nonsense are suffering.
The Chinese have refused to allow the RMB appreciate against the greenback in the last 5 years for a reason, despite frequent cries from Washington. Read my brother, It's all a game.
adioolayi: It takes Dangote refinery to work to reset the thinking process of oil dealers.
Even Nigeria's refinery that seems to have been cursed never to function again.. suddenly started working..
Na wa o
Noo, it was the total and unambiguous deregulation of the downstream market that reset the thinking. We need to thank Dangote for taking the leap of faith though. He fought the oil cabal gallantly
edungene7: coming from an online bandit whose only source of livelihood is the shameless act of trolling online for a stipend that is not even enough to feed him for 2weeks.
edungene7: Tinubu is a disaster he swore to protect lives and properties has is primary function today lives and properties are been destroyed at will but the frog eye cocoaine sniffing vagabond is shouting that he is satisfied with the performance of the military.A vegetable who has no value for human lives. No true Igbos man will ever kill a priest because he knows the consequence to follow Tinubu and is gang of desperados should continue he will never go unpunished.
Animegirl: I have a burning passion to become a wealthy and successful woman, but I'm worried that getting married and having children might force me to put my dreams on hold. I'm concerned that I won't be able to balance family life with my personal ambitions. Furthermore, the societal pressures in Nigeria, combined with the constraints of time and age, are making me feel like I'm already at a disadvantage. My desire for success is strong, but I'm fearful that having a family might mean sacrificing my dreams.
I'm really scared.
I tell young people to live in the present. There are millions of possible outcomes to every door (decision)you open. Fear is your biggest enemy in life, don't let it paralyse you. Plan, but make sure you enjoy every step of the journey, not just the good, enjoy the bad too. The beauty of life is in the process not the destination What if you get both desires, or none of your desires. What if you get a bit of both, what if you get it but short only for a while. Too many possibilities. Live in your 'now'. Hope you get my drift. I

pandax: Unfortunately, you cannot import vehicles via RORO , Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, etc through Onne!. So, expect us, in our numbers as we are still one Nation.
Nationalism is in the upward trajectory in the our land and we are decoupling poco-a-poco!
Expect us at Onne for the other imports too since they are gearing up to be more efficient than the Lagos ports. Thank you for being a sport .A very healthy sense of humour you've got.
EdiskyHarry: Nigeria is a failed nation. We got independence since 1960 till date we haven't registered any significant progress. Till date nigeria can't boost of 20 hours electricity a day. What a shame, I wish Putin or Kim jong UN can mistakenly nuke this country, let everyone return to the dust.

Gbadugbakun: Under Tinubu, Nigeria has become a dumping ground for all kinds of expired drugs across the globe.
Some of you are challenged mentally. How did a batch of antibiotics produced in Ogun state by a Nigerian pharmaceutical company pass for "dumping" in your book. What has that got to do with Tinubu.
patrickcollins: No one travels with that intent but one has got to start somewhere and makes a progression
Yes you are right, no one does. But the fact stares straight in our faces. 1. The jobs you think you want are non existent. 2. They have made it abundantly clear that Africans are not wanted, why do we still go in droves. You need to understand the economic games the Europeans, especially the British, play on our people. My brother, If you can afford the cost of traveling, you have no reason washing toilet in a foreign. Wealth abound around us. The grass is not always greener on the other side. From a man who has seen it all.
ivolt: Don't mind them. These Nigerian "abroad" fantasists amaze me. They would dream of a perfect picture of a country they have never visited and have little to no idea of how low-wage workers survive.
Imagine comparing a toilet cleaner to a bank manager?
Dignity means nothing to them as long as their oyibo masters feed them their daily rations of GMO. How can a reasonable person justify travelling thousands of miles to wash toilet?
Three suspects, who are charged with killing two women and threw their bodies in a pig’s enclosure, have appeared at the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court.
The three were arrested after police discovered the decomposed remains of two women at a farm in Sebayeng, near Polokwane, on Tuesday.
Maria Makgato and Locadia Ndlhovhu’s remains were found inside the pigsty after a man who was also shot and injured alerted the police.
The case of murder against the three has been postponed for profiling and further bail application.
The three suspects, Zacharia Olivier aged 60, William Musora aged 40 and 19-year-old Rudolf De Wit appeared briefly in court.
Police initially arrested Olivier, who owns the farm and De Wit who is the farm employee, on Tuesday.
Musora, who is a foreign national, was then apprehended on Wednesday.
Preliminary reports indicate that the remains of the two women were dumped inside the pig stalls.
The victim’s families are reeling in shock.
“We kept on asking about her whereabouts, on Tuesday she was found dead with gunshot wounds inside a pig enclosure. Her remains were kept with the pigs, so this is so painful to us, she left four children, it hurts, we have never seen something like this,” says relative Memory Mushayabasa.
“On Monday, the relatives of the deceased were called to come to the farm to check the situation which had just unfolded, they found the remains of their loved one in a pig’s enclosure, the pigs had already started consuming them, which points to the suspects wanted to dispose of the evidence,” says family member Charles Mogale.
The media has been instructed not to show the images of the suspects.
Investigations are still ongoing.
The defence is still consulting with the accused.
“Well, at this stage regarding the specialization in pigs, there is pig farming apparently but this like I also said I have not been able to confirm. The only people I have spoken to are some of his family members,” says lawyer Andries Rheeder.
The matter has been postponed to next week Friday.
WannaHowzit: With your Nigerian hunger, you can only order - cant pay (even cancellation fee like in mighty SA)👎🏾🇳🇬💩💩💩💩
Shouldn't you be mourning? Didn't your white masters just shoot your hungry mother and sister and fed them to his pigs. Mumu, we know what's going on in your country too.
chatinent: I remember a certain time a married woman wanted to visit me and she suggested a hotel. Now the thing is that she was as free as a bird and had no ulterior motives or intentions. In fact, she wanted somewhere confidential so that many eyes wouldn't see her discussing with a male figure since she felt that some people around there might know her husband.
But she forget the main thing...a hotel? I reminded her that while she was trying to save her marriage, she was also on the verge of losing it because if she is caught in a hotel with a man, she'll run out of explanations even though she's innocent.
E come bi like her brain no really go that side.
But she corrected her mistake immediately after I reminded her. And trust me, she has no ulterior motives. I didn't either.
Hahahhahahaahah!!!!!! You didn't but she did. Women are not ignorant or stupid. They are way smarter than men. Trust me she was only feeling your pulse.
Botragelad: In a world where eloquence often masks cluelessness, he stands as a prime example. His words, abundant yet devoid of substance, cascade like a river that flows vigorously yet reaches no sea. He indulges in discourse with the zest of an infant at its mother's embrace, blissfully unaware of the depths he has yet to explore.
Consider the duality of his stance, a pendulum swinging with the winds of convenience. In the face of terror within Nigeria's borders, he calls for the shield of governance, denouncing the violence with fervor. Yet, when the script is flipped and Israel's hand is forced against Hamas, he cries out, painting a narrative of genocide. The same scenes, yet his lens shifts, colored by his disdain for one and sympathy for the other, a chameleon basking in the sun of public opinion.
He is the architect of his own facade, constructing realities that suit the moment, never planting his feet firmly on any ground. They are the dancers in the masquerade of truth, swaying to the tunes that resonate with the crowd, much like Jackson Hinkle, unbothered by the absence of logic in their symphony of words.
Chairman, on top wetin? You just went Wole Soyinka on the guy.
xin5: Man your so depressed and fustrated about life generally. I can sense your bad energy from a mile away oozing from this unwarranted attack gosh. because I see no reason for this your response to my post when all I just did was to come here and ask to know the truth.
Take your frustrations else where bro Because at this stage you are nothing else can help you.
You see, you could have been a little more civil in asking. Your choice of words was wrong on all levels, uncouth, denigrating and disrespectful. Imagine your sisters husband to be came on social media to ask these "harmless" questions, calling your union a possible scam, and remembering to bring your unmarried elder brother into the story. You may not meant to, but it wouldn't hurt any less if your bride-to-be saw this.
A Nigerian took to social media to call out Wole Soyinka on his attack on the Labour Party Presidential Candidate for 2023, His Excellency Peter Obi.
In a 4-minute video, Ife Salako, who identifies as an Obidient, with a view of showing the hypocrisy in the Professor's words, beamed the light on some of the 'physically aggressive' and 'criminally minded' supporters the octogenarian shares a support base with.
He also touched on the life Wole Soyinka himself lived as a youth dissatisfied with the country, and the role played by cultism which he played a role in sowing the seeds in Nigeria.
Ife went on to suggest that the Professor's age may have inspired such 'juvenile' approach to issues and admonished him to not ruin the country further.
rotadeco27: I met recently someone very close to him in my clinic, he said with all sincerity Tinubu intentions to make this nation work. There are whole lots of things we do not know that is why we say most of the things we say. I sincerely regretted campaigning against him in the last election. Nigeria needs sincere leader like him at this point and not a palliator that will be packaging a failing nation to get cheap accolades. The country is undergoing what I termed economic debridements which comes with pains and bledding, but by the time the nation recovers , she will be 1st in Africa as Lagos is always 1st in progress. Some people built America, we must build own nation too.
God bless you. We can make Nigeria great in our generation.
