United States B-2 stealth bomber will be deployed in yet to be confirmed areas in the western Pacific ahead of next week's planned visit to the region by the United States President Donald Trump.

The bombers fitted out for carrying nuclear weapons last presence in the region was in 2013 during a Pentagon promotional show-of-force tour over the Korean Peninsula, according to Japan times.

According to US Strategic Command (STRATCOM) the deployment of the bomber included ''remarks intended to allay the fears of regional US allies Japan and South Korea ahead of Trump's visit, suggesting that the B-2 visit should be considered as "a visible demonstration of commitment to our allies and enhancing regional security."

The planned deployment is also a moved to show Pyongyang of US willingness and dedication to protect her allies, South Korea and Japan from any North Korea threat and aggression.

North Korea's Nuclear and Missile program has drawn wide criticism from US and her allies, South Korea and Japan. Pyongyang tested an hydrogen bomb with a yeild of over 150 kiloton in September and this has taken the tension in the region to a new level.

A well-known blogger in Malta who accused the government of the country of corruption has been killed in a planned car bomb attack, according to Police report.

The Malta blogger, Daphne Caruana Galizia, died after the car she was driving exploded shortly after she left her apartment in Bidnija, near Mosta.

The explosion got the attention of people around including one of her sons who rushed outside to see debris of the rental car his mother was driver all over the road.

The attack has been condemned by the island town Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, whom Galizia strongly accused earlier this year of mismanagement and corrupt practices.

"I condemn without reservations this barbaric attack on a person and on the freedom of expression in our country," he said in a televised statement.

The PM stressed that though the blogger has been one of his strongest antagonist and also for some other powerful people but that doesn't warrant the killing of the blogger and he wouldn't rest until justice is done.

It was reported by Malta Television that the deceased blogger had filed a complaint to the Police of threat to her life two weeks before the attack that led to her death.

The highly audacious bloger had linked the Prime Minister and his wife to the Panama Paper Scandal but the couple denied claims that they had used secret offshore bank account to hide payments from Azerbaijan's ruling family.

Caruana Galizia's had also targeted opposition politicians in her blog calling the country's political situation "desperate" in her final post.

According to some country's officials Malta has asked for international help - including the FBI in the US - to find the perpetrator.

According to media reports, The blast was heard in a busy commercial area in the center of Mogadishu.

Uralvagonzanoid(UVZ), manufacturer of Russia's lethal main battle tank, the T-90 has displayed the latest upgraded version of the tank in a demonstration of newest armoured vehicles in honor of the tanker's day on the territory of the 33rd combined-arms training range.

The new version with the designation T-90m was developed due to some combat weakness noticed in the older versions which is one of the frontline tank of the Russian army.

The T-90 is one of the Russian tanks currently in service with Russian allies in the Syrian conflict and this gave Russia the opportunity to access the tank's performances in actual combat and this ultimately led to the identification of some areas of improvement.

The new version of the T-90 will feature most of the revolutionary technologies on the T-14 Armata with advanced armor (slat armor), Afghanit active protection system and Malachite reactive armor.

it will also come with a new fully-stabilized and longer 2A46M-4 125mm smoothbore gun which apart from firing projectiles, can also launch anti-tank guided missiles, the same type used on the Armata and a new fire control system which is characterized by high levels of accuracy, rate of fire and has an increased barrel life-about 900 shots.

Its secondary armament includes; the coaxial PKT 7.62mm machine gun and a roof mounted remotely-controlled NSVT 12.7mm machine gun with capabilities to attack ground and air targets.

The new Tank will also come with an upgraded 1,000hp engine, and will have a range of 500km with a maximum speed of 60km/h and will be operated by 3 crew.

More than 70 years ago, Hiroshima and Nagazaki, two of japanese cities had to be attacked with nukes (Nuclear Weapon) before Japan surrendered and the second world war was finally over. Till date, that is the only time a nuclear weapon is used as a weapon for warfare. That is, only Japan can practically explain the devastating effect of a nuclear attack and the horror of the aftermath.

After the second world war, United States of America and Japan found ways to settle their differences and forge a working relationship. economic and commercial, socio-cultural and political and also military links and channels were 're-created' between the two independent states. This however is much to the disgust of some states in Asia, most especially; North Korea.

North Korea and Japan have in the past been a victim of America's bombing campaign. This led to loss of hundreds of thousands of life and destruction of properties in volume almost never recorded before in the history of war. For this reason, one will wonder "the enemy of my enemy should be an ideal friend" but what transpired between the United State and Japan after the Second World War defiled this code that is almost a 'status quo'.

The 'friendly' relationship between Washington and Tokyo has drawn wild criticism from Pyongyang who thought that since both Tokyo and them has in the past being a victim of Washington bombing campaign, their shared mark of US destructive aggression should be a factor that makes them close allies.

North Korea after the Korean war has remained aggressively unfriendly with the united states, even developing missiles and nuclear weapons to have a "bully posture" in case the US try to get too close or meddle with her internal affairs and to frustrate US allies in Asia. Japan on the other hand took a different stance and opted for a friendly relationship, even more than what they shared in the 19th century and the early years of the 20th century before the Great Wars turned the relationship from sweet to bloody soar.

The Treaty of Kanagawa on March 31, 1854 spearheaded by Commodore M.Perry and the Harris Treaty in 1858 opened an economic and diplomatic relationship between the United States and Japan after two centuries of closure of Japanese port to ships of western origin and no direct relationship with the westerners.

This reluctant opening of Japanese ports to westerners however kick-started one of the most outstanding time in Japanese history. Japan took advantage of the new access to this technologically advanced westerners and modernise her industries and military to rise to be the most industrialised and most prominent Asian power in the pacific.

The level of development of the Japanese military during her short interraction with the west (most especially the U.S) was very evident in the Russo-Japanese war of 1905-1906 in which the imperial Japanese military gave the Russian military a crushing defeat giving them the "lords" status over the yellow sea, Manchuria and the Korean Peninsula.

But this also led to the internal agitation for a reform that led to the weakening of the position of the Tokugawa Shogunate who is the 'real' ruler of Japan and the emergence of power of the position of the Emperor in the Meiji Restoration of 1868.

North Korea has managed to be free from U.S interference in her internal and external policy formulation and execution, and has forge for herself an audacious image in the international society due to her nuclear weapon capabilities, the size of her standing army, achievements in ballistic missile technology and the large number of attack submarines they can boast of which gives them the ability to defend her territory even on the sea and fend of 'predators' But despite all this,majority of her citizen are wallowing in abject poverty and they are almost totally prohibited from interacting with anything outside their territory.

However, states like Japan that has allied with the United States in the region are more prosperous; though like others also, they are not nuclear armed but they have one of the top ten economy in the world, and also, one of the top ten Gross Domestic Product (GDP),one of the top ten technologically advanced economy, and also, one of the top ten military.....

Associated Press reported yesterday that Nigeria Military purchased Military aircraft from US in a deal valued at $593 million. The purchase of the aircraft, the A-29 Super Tucano is coming at the right time for Nigeria and will serve a great purpose in Nigeria's quest to end Boko Haram insurgency and will be a low cost (probably better) option to Nigeria's F-7 and Alpha Jets which the Nigerian Air Force has been using for aerial strafing of Boko Haram fortress and for surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Also considering the fact that they will be brand new, news of them crashing should be far from them; at least for a while.

The A-29 Super Tucano, a derivative of the Embraer Tucano is "an agile , propeller - driven plane with attack as well as reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities. it is produced in Brazil by Embraer. The aircraft can fly missions even in complex environment like Desert, jungles, forest, during the day or at night and is equipped with the appropriate sensors and weapons with the right set of ordinance to pack a formidable firepower in low threat environment.

Though, the news of the purchase of the aircraft is a heart warming news, but people were quick to notice some flaws in the deal.
Considering the high level of corrupt pratices that has been recorded within the ranks of the Nigerian Military in the past, questions are already being raise about the value of the deal.
According to Wikipedia, "The Super Tucano costs more than $10 million each and the price can go much higher depending on the configuration", it also confirmed that "with the highest level of configuration, the highest a unit of Super Tucano can ever go for is $14 million.
Though a drop dead novice in the twist and turns that guide that military procurement and deals but it is without an argument that there will be hidden charges like, transportation of equipment, clearing, administrative charges, or most probably, training of personnel (Nigerian Pilot), weapons and missiles to be used by the aircraft, spares and some other minors I may know. But I strongly doubt it that there is Insurance deal in it.

Now the main part, let's say Nigeria will get the best possible configuration which will take the unit cost to the aircraft to $14 million, and we are getting 12 unit of it. My calculations put the whole thing at $168 million. (let's round it up to $170 million). The value of the deal is $593 million, minus the $170 million for the 12 aircrafts, that will give us $423 million remaining. This $423 million is enough to buy us 30 more aircraft for $14 million each. But some other things still need to be taking care of , but is $423 million which is almost triple the value of the 12 aircraft not too outrageous for add ons...?

The Police Force in every country are expected to be the model men and women, represent the law and be an epitome of the best behaviour in the society. We can't really blame those Policemen and Policewomen though, because they are serving what led them to the job in the first place. Guess what......'Their Stomach';Wrong leader, Bad Servant. Most of the Police Officers were led into the job in the first place because of unemployment and hunger.

To those who are planning to join the Nigeria Police Force, though Nigeria has messed up your precious 'Tabula Rasa' beyond your wildest dreams but I bet it with you that joining the Force will make you a bigger mess in a way you never imagined.

To those who are planning to join the Nigeria Police Force, here are the top 5 negative features you must be ready to incorporate into your personality unwillingly or otherwise.

* Extortion/Bribe Taking: Here is the 'Trade Mark' of the Nigerian Police Force and they do it in an out of station. You have to pay "Money for Bail" even after proven innocent. The NPF are the progenitor of legalise forceful begging. They do this in many ways; by mounting illegal road blocks and checkpoint to extort motorist, Okada riders and even those on foot, seizing of random citizens phones and collecting money before giving them their phones back, or outrightly charging you but they best and most inhumane of it all is done inside the four walls of Station. Mind you, you can be shot or killed if you refuse to "roger"(give bribe). So you joining the Police introduce you to this and in no time, you will be a pro in the art of extortion and bribe taking.

*Above the Law Syndrome: Who doesn't want to be above the law but since their are laws, they are meant to be adhere to however the Police that are saddled with enforcing the laws in Nigeria are the one that break it the most. NPF has become so lawless that the fundamental human right is just a jagon in ink to them. The NPF has been recorded to slap, kick, batter, maim and even execute suspect in broad day light or in custody. Event like this is not even an high impact news anymore in Nigeria as it is one of the daily routine of the NPF. People also use the NPF to execute personal vendettas, especially influencial Nigerians, Politicians, Business men or on a lighter note, the one who reported and paid first. Also they are guilty of wrong driving, running red lights, driving against traffic, not paying for services rendered to them to name a few. In short, joining the NPF will make you lawless.

* Lack of Human Sympathy/Wayward life: Are you the type that shed tears anytime you listen to MJ's 'Speechless', or moved to tears when you heard that that quiet neighbour of yours was almost killed by hunger, join the NPF and all those things will just be mere words to you. 'You will get as cold as cold can be'. Almost all Police Officers in Nigeria are outright saddist and psychopath but believe me, most were not like this when they came in but got shaped into it by the NPF psychological complexity. Nigerian Police don't care whether you don't have money or haven't eaten or sick, all that matters to them is that when you are stopped on the road or randomly picked in the street or taking to their station (innocent or guilty), you must pay. Nigerian Police are also good at cooking up stories against innocent citizen or planting implicating items on them just for a larger chunk of cash for bail. Also if you are planning to join the NPF, be ready to pick up the Police wayward lifestyle, or are they not? Wait! before you doubt that, go and checks how Barracks,Police Cars, their Stations looks like or get close to one enough and their lifestyle will complement this. This wayward lifestyle of the Police officers most times rub off on their children, most especially their Sons. Join the Police and say bye to your lovely personality and good psychological health.

* Habitual Drinkers: It is unethical to drink and smoke while on duty or in uniform but I guess not in Nigeria. The first time I ever entered a Police Station in Nigeria was the day I knew that this problem of drinking is even bigger than I thought. It was just around 1pm on a Tuesday and all the officers are already drunk. 'Literally drunk', and some are even oozing of cigarette and marij***. The fridge in the C/O's officer is filled with Red Label, Lords, Schnapps and just two Satchet water. Bars and Joints is more like a Police second station in Nigeria(Army sef no carry last). This is an habit most of them forged while in the Force, not before they joined. Let's not talk about their promiscuity. If you join the NPF, things like this will in no time be a daily routine for you too.

* Pride and Greed: Nigerian Police are egoistic being. They feels more important than the citizen whose tax are being used to pay them. Hurt their pride at your own peril, as they can slap, kick, hit, torture, arrest, maim or even go trigger happy on you for hurting their ego. Also, Police Officers are never satisfied with their salary and will go extra length in disposing innocent citizen of their hard earned money to service their greed. Also the NPF are guilty of extrajudicial killing, inability to solve crime, chronic lying and other ill habits. If you don't want to get a uniform that activate the dark side of humanity in you like greed,pride, and the others, avoid the NPF.

Though it will be totally wrong to say all Police Officers are of this crop as some of them are too good and well mannered to be true but it is not far from the truth to say more than 90% of them are bad eggs.

Also some of the feature here are common amongst the Military Officers, Naval Officers, Lastma Officials ranks.

Conclusively, Joining the Nigerian Police Force will most likely bring out the bad in you and may cause you to be avoided like wildfire so avoid NPF to avoid all this.

We pay attention to our body to look nice and smell nice. Our face, our Mouth, even our genital are voraciously taking care of but there is one important part we often time neglect; our Armpits.



Our Armpits is one of the part of the body that needs special attention and the super sensitive Skin is one of the hardest to take care of but few people gives it the attention it needs.

Nobody like it stinky down there anytime you open your arm to give a hug but not everybody knows what to do with this bushy pit of the body but here are five simple ways to take care of them.



* Hair Removal

The underarm hair is one the hardest to shave in our body due to the pattern of its hair growth but what choice do we have, we need to get rid of it so that it won't retain our sweat down there and stink. The PL-01 is an armoured Fighting Vehicle created by Polish State owned defense firm OBRUM with the support of BAE system of the United Kingdom.


The PL-01 was first unveiled at the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce on September, 2013, the same year the project was launched. Some people labelled it a light tank while others see it a Direct Support Vehicle. The tank is based on the chasis of Swedish CV90120-T light tank. The tank was labelled by OBRUM as the fifth generation tank due to its advanced modifications and majorly because of its 'Stealth Capabilities '.

The PL-01 is covered with special "temperature Controlled Wafers" allowing it to blend with infrared signature of its surroundings and pratically invisible to infrared and radar detection or manipulated to make the tank look much smaller to radars.



The tank is fitted with a Ceramic-armoured shell which is designed to provide protection compatible with NATO standard and STANAG 4569 Annex A at 5+ across the front portion of the hull and turret. The turret also house an Active Protection System (APS) to neutralise incoming ATGMs and RPGs. The hull offers protection against improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and landmines. It can withstand explosions equivalent to 10kg of TNT anywhere under the hull in accordance with appendix B parts 4a and 4b of the STANAG 4569 standard. The entire tank is coated with radiation-absorbent material.





The PL-01 will be equipped with a 940 horsepower (700 kW)+ diesel engine which is most likely of German origin coupled to a torque converter , automatic gearbox and driving assistance mechanism. The suspension is based on seven wheels, with the drive shafts having active damping of torsion bars mounted on the first and last two pairs. The tank can reach a maximum speeds of up to 70 kilometres per hour (43 mph) on paved roads and 50 kilometres per hour (31 mph) in rough terrain and it also has a maximum range of 500 kilometres (310 mi). It can successfully climb an inclination of 30 degrees, cross ditches and trenches to a width of 2.6 metres (8 ft 6 in), and cross water obstacles with a depth of up to 1.5 metres (4 ft 11 in) without preparation, and up to 5 metres (16 ft) deep with preparation. It weight up to 35 to 40 tonnes.



Apart from the driver, commander and gunner that is located in the hull, there is space in the turret which can accomoate up to Four Soilders when not loaded. The tank has fire extinguishing system all over its body and inside, active anti-projectile protection system, system cooling exhaust, thermal masking system, battlefield management, air conditioning filters, and can also be equiped with a satellite navigation system and friend-foe identification system.



The primary weapon is a 105 or 120mm Caliber gun fitted with the unmanned turret in accordance with NATO standard. The Cannon fire conventional projectiles and guided anti-tank missiles and can also shoot both down. It has a firing rate of 6 rounds per minute. It carries 45 round with 16 already loaded in the slot within the turret and the remaining in storage within the hull. It is also equipped with a 7.62 mm caliber UKM-2000 Machine Gun with 1,000 rounds. Additional equipment will be installed in a remote-controlled module. Presently the planned designs include a 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm caliber machine gun or a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher with a supply of 750 rounds of 7.62 mm, 400 rounds of 12.7 mm or 96 rounds of 40 mm grenades. Also built into the turret is an active defense system which intercepts incoming missiles and smoke grenade launchers.



The Vehicle can be reconfigure to direct fire support role, and can also be used as a command vehicle, Mine Clearance Vehicle or for armoured Vehicle repair.



The tank is expected to enter production stage by 2018.

The UK and the US will be at the recieving end of a $1 Billion Military hardware deal after the deal was passed by the US State Department on Monday.


According to Defense Security Cooperation notices, the proposed deals were for;


• 2,747 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles, made by Oshkosh, and accessories worth $1.04 billion for the U.K., a NATO ally that continues to be “an important partner on critical foreign policy and defense issues.”

• 32 AN/AAR-57A(V)7 Common Missile Warning Systems and accessories worth $58.2 million, and made by BAE Systems, for the Netherlands. The systems will be employed on the Netherlands’ AH-64D Apache helicopters.
“This proposed sale will enhance the foreign policy and national security objectives of the United States by helping to improve the security of the Netherlands which has been, and continues to be an important force for political stability and economic progress in Europe,” the announcement reads. “It is vital to the U.S. national interest to assist the Netherlands to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defense capability

Serbia will get MiG-29 "Fulcrum" Fighter Jet before year end as Russia speed up the delivery plans, Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Director Dmitry Shugaev said Wednesday.

Apart from the 6 MiG-29, Serbia will be taking delievery of 30 T-72s tanks and 30 BRDM-2 armored reconnaissance Vehicle to Belgrade as part of a military aid package.


The aid package was initiated in November of 2016 according to Moscow official. The Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Deputy Director Anatoly Punchuk said the Fighter jets will most likely be delivered in Spring 2017 as part of a military and technical cooperation assistance program between the two state.

MiG-29 Fighter Jet is currently used in 29 countries and is one of the best jet in the World.

Words got out on Tuesday that China is ready to mass produce its new drone, the CH-5 and some analyst see this as a doom and punch in the guts for General Atomics MQ-9 and the beginning of the end of its dominance on the international combat drone export market but is this something General Atomics should take serious...?


China publicly unveiled its latest and most capable combat drone last week during the Zhuhai Airshow. According to Chinese officials, the drone which is almost a split image of the US MQ-9 also have almost the same capabilities as the MQ-9 and some even claimed that it has some advantages over the MQ-9.


The CH-5 is the latest unmanned combat vehicle of the rainbow series. The first two series of this drones, the CH-1 and CH-2 were only for reconnaissance and surveillance mission but the CH-3 got combat capabilities and the combat capabilities got improved on on the CH-4.


The latest of this UCAV, the CH-5 is the biggest Chinese UAV. It has a wingspan of 21 metres, and can carry a payload of 1,000kg and a maximum takeoff weight of a little over 3tons. it has a service ceiling of over 9,000metres, and endurance of up to 100 hours, a max speed of over 400km/h and a range of 15,000km.

The CH-5 can fly for 2 days without refueling. It can be operated on the platform on which CH-3 and CH-4 are being controlled and can also share data links with them. The CH-5 is capable of carrying smart bombs, missiles and high-tech radar jammers. It can carry 16 missile at a single time. The CH-5 can also be used for anti-Submarine warfare and ISR (intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance) and touts early warning capabilities.


The US MQ-9 is the only combat drone the US have after the Predator was retired and is arguably the best combat drone in the world. It has been dominating the drone export market but the MQ-9 now has a distant cousin as a competitor.


Looking at the capabilities of this two drones, the General Atomics MQ-9 seems to have an advantage over the CH-5. The take off weight, ceiling, range and payload capabilities of the MQ-9 is almost two time stronger than that of the CH-5 and also has a stronger engine but the CH-5 can perform twice as much as the MQ-9 when it comes to Combat radius, flight hours and cost less than half the price of the MQ-9.

According to the Business daily, the arrival of CH-5 in the international drone market is a "strategic and commercial blow for the US". It is a hard task getting the US to sell weapon especially to states that don't seems to share the same interest and values as them but China is always willing to sell weapons to any state with the cash and this may just be the deciding factor in this situation.


Though the MQ-9 is above the CH-5 when it comes to performance but the price of the CH-5, willingness of the chinese government to negotiate and trade with interested states and little time taking by Chinese officials in reaching and agreement and finalising deals may just give the CH-5 an edge in the market but those who value performance not minding the cost still know what to go for.


A Chief designer on the CH-5 project Shi Wen reported that several Foreign nations (suspected to be Egypt, Saudi Arabia and UAE) have expressed intentions to purchase the CH-5 and they are in talk with them.

Every youngman has a dream, some, materialistic in nature, some, adventures ridden, most, fair share of both. Though there never seems to be a limit to our dreams as the actualization of one sets another automatically but some things can hold us back from achieving them.
One thing all youngmen have in common is a dream. Well, for most, it revolves around getting that big buck spitting job, getting married to that incredibly beautiful and sexy lady down the block or in that church choir or the one you picture in your head, some, building houses and owning head turning rides. As beautiful as all youngmen dreams are, to achieve them, some things must be checkmated. (Except one of the things listed here is what you dream of breaking records in)
Here is the list of the top 5 distractions every youngman must avoid on the path to their dreams.

(1)Women
This will top the list no matter who wrote this, or when and where it is written. You can't just hate them but, love them too much and you are doomed. Women are the salt of the world but when you spice food with too much salt, it gets useless. Guys of nowadays spent too much energy, resources, time and manpower chasing after women and our young celebrities are not helping matters as they flaunt women at any given opportunity. Women can be a potent dream killer if given too much attention, that is why it is better to stick with one or else you may never achieve that beautiful dreams of yours.

(2) Alcohol/Drugs
Many young vibrant minds have been lost to Alcohol and Drugs and that is not the end of it as many are still going to perish in its abyss. Alcohol and Drugs has taken many to their early grave, Prison and has killed many even while they live. Many youngmen has relegated themselves to drugs and alcohol as a solace from their fear while some see them as a way of catching fun and has succumb themselves to the wicked sweet sensation it gives to the extent that they now live for it; alone. This is one of the things youngmen must avoid so that they won't sway but stay on course to achieve their dreams.

(3) Early Marriage
Family pressure and unexpected pregnancy are the greatest players in this. Youngmen sometimes find themselves in marriages which most times, they are not psychologically or financially ready for it and before they get enough time to fathom what's on, "pikin don dey ground". Though marriage is a good thing but getting into it at a wrong time can be a great distraction for any young man with dreams.

(4)Success Stories
Stories will be told from now till the end of time because they are meant to be told but how some young men handle them is the problem. If the success stories of people you know or don't know is not properly harness psychologically, it can push some young men to the part of crime (especially in this country of ours). For success stories not to be a distraction for a young hustling guy, it should be admitted with a positive mind and its power channelled to fueling our willpower to achieving our own dreams instead of being envious or jealous of those achieving things. #StayPositive!
(5) External pressure
Our parent, girlfriend(s), friends, even celebrities are the culprit here. Sometimes people around us pass the vibe that we are not doing things worthwhile or not doing enough consciously or unconsciously. Our parent sometimes talk about their successful friend's sons or daughters, or our girlfriend gisting us about how rich their friend's boyfriend are or how a guy got their friend a car. This can do enough to a youngman willpower and resolve to achieve their dreams
