Even though I think you're making sense, I also think you should calm down. Whether the recruitment is real or not, you should know that not everyone who will take the test will eventually get the job. This job isn't a do or die thing. Don't act as if your entire life depends on it. Find something productive to do instead of disturbing your wonderful self over this.

Good morning my brother, I think he is not making any sense because some persons that were told to send their state of residence gave an email address contrary to the one that NCDMB warned people against. And for him not to consider such indicates that his mind is already anchored that the recruitment is not pure.
Lagos State Hospital Management invited people for aptitude test last week through text messages that was sent individually to all shortlisted applicants via a phone number. Somebody told me that some of his friends said that the invitation was a scam by analysing "how can a whole Lagos State Hospital Management Board, send test invite not as bulk SMS but with somebody's number ?".
I asked him if he actually applied and he said yes that he applied through their website. I told him to go for the test that it is pure. He went on Friday and wrote the exam.
P.S: If I didn't tell him to go, he would have lost such opportunity and he is a medical doctor.

It depends on the total overall performance of applicants in each advertised position.
Someone can score 80% and may not likely be shortlisted because many applicants for the same position scored higher marks. And also consider that they may not likely employ everyone from one state or LGA.

Congratulations! Master your CV, be confident, have the right attitude, use KISS style in answering their question and create a practical scenario to boost your point when they ask you technical question.
Know maintenance, SOP, circuit breaker type like Sf6 gas, Vacuum, electrical panel, voltage ratings HT and LT (33kV, 11kV, 415V three phase system) safety, neutral earthing, motor and drives, transformer, Delta Star connection, Star Delta connection, electrical symbols, single line diagram etc. Congrats once again.

I don't know why anytime there's recruitment(INEC, NIS even Npower), scammers alert will always come up?
God save our country.

But why will a scammer go all the way to advertise in a daily newspaper?
Nigerian Companies should have a strong website.

Technically speaking, it is a dedicated website meant only for recruitment purpose for a specific time frame.
Some Nigerian tertiary institutions use the same type of website only to run for admission stuffs such as selling of post utme forms.

Scammers create sites like this to collect sensitive information which they can use to create fake profiles.

It pays to have an emotional intelligence.
Some Nigerian Universities have such type of website specifically for admission of students in their schools. Example one Unizik.
In the same vein, Ikeja Electric used this kind of website to recruit for Graduate Trainee Engineer last year.
It all boils down to emotional intelligence and the source of the recruitment's advert.
Please if you don't want to apply, stop discouraging others from applying.

Shortlisted ones that applied for the above position were mailed last week to submit their credentials up to primary school level, CVs, 3 months payslip to an HR's email address. And the requested documents must be in one PDF file.

What is needed is law that will make sure the Discos invest in their infrastructure by putting back a ℅ of their profit back to Maintenance of their infrastructure. Make law that pemalizes any disco whose feeder is out on fault for 1 hour, this ensures they always pick load and stop the rejection of load they do indirectly by tripping their feeders

My dear, sorry to ask you this, are you sure that you are in the right thread? The reason being that such position "Operations & Maintenance Technician" was not in the list of the advertised positions by Total E&P Limited.
