My dear, let us think systematically here, the SOPs used in cooking jellof rice is different from the ones used in cooking melon soup and eba. Note: they are all food.

Don't use MDAs that do not have much physical critical assets that are safety sensitive to compare with sector that has zero tolerance in negligence to safety, reliability, maintainability, availability etc.

Recruitment base on recommendation is possible in any sector and that is based on the person's years' of experience, skills, career's achievement etc.

Unfortunately, this Recruitment does not fall under recommendation, neither it is an MDA administrative work. And I will still say it over a billion times as far as this particular Recruitment is concerned, it is impossible to be given an APL without interview. Those mere online tests did not worth direct APL. The earlier you know this, the better for you. And it doesn't need to be argued for.

Meanwhile, with respect to 6th May's prediction or should I Call it confusion, today is 7th May; and ironically speaking, congratulations to those that received the APL.

Over and out.
ofyd001:
You're right, people shouldn't hold their breath for this recruitment. If it comes, fine...if it doesn't, move on. But to say it is impossible for APL to be given without interview is false. Their are MDAs that issue APLs directly. I work for one. 500+ recruited without interview or any test.

A reminder for those that care to listen.
Justice102:

My dear, nothing is happening on 6th and no one should blame anyone for something not happening on 6th. God has given us the brain to think. So, let everyone think for himself/herself. Stop allowing anyone to play with your emotions with un-operational and unrealistic updates.

It is impossible to be given an APL only based on a mere online test without interview.

Over and out.

If anything doesn't happen from now till June, then, guys should forget about this Recruitment and wait for another recruitment cycle.

Also, anyone hoping that APL will be distributed to shortlisted candidates without interview, is just dreaming.

Over and out.

I mean when I saw the vacancy on gr8jobs, I was kind of skeptical about its authenticity because when I checked the company’s official website, I didn’t see it advertised there and that disclaimer scared me even more.

It was until I checked their official LinkedIn and (verified) Twitter page that I saw the vacancy so it became obvious to me they outsourced recruitment for whatever reason.

Furthermore, the latest mail I received asking for NYSC and WAEC info had some NBPlc employees (I’m guessing hr people) CCed on the mail. There’s no way recruitment would have go on for this long if it were actually fake and they’d have asked us for money by now lol

Well said.

Thank God you made further investigation.

Lmao job vacancy that was plastered all over NBPlc’s social media pages. Fake indeed

Don't mind them. Something that was advertised via their LinkedIn handle.

It is very good to be in the learner domain of intelligently knowing something than to be in the knower domain of ignorantly claiming to know while nothing is known.

Good morning to everyone.

Almost everyone is waiting for offers calls and have done the final video interview

The role (Production Schedulers) will be reporting to "PD SNBO Manager within the SNBO organization. The work to be done will cover a combination of these Assets:
2 Oil Export Terminals
2 FPSOs
15+ Gas Plants (AGG & NAG)
35+ Flow stations"- Culled from the Shell's advert.

I have been following this thread from day one and no one has indicated that he/she has been called for the position of Production Schedulers and from the above it seems like many guys will be hired for the position ( Production Schedulers). Secondly, some guys stated that they have received regret mails. And all these happened to be the reason for specifying and asking the status of anyone that applied for the position of Production Schedulers.

Thank you for your understanding and for your reply.

Please, if you applied for Production Schedulers, what is the status of your application? Mine still reads "Application Received"

Do I still have hope?
