It would be soooo very funny, when United lifts the trophy this season. . . and trust me, I wont spare you.!!
Yes you currently lead the table with 3 points. , but you of all people know that it can easily change. Its as unstable as fuel prices in Nigeria (maybe till recently). ,

And like a friend sid to me yesterday. , It is better to be behind Arsenal than behind Chelsea, .cos rsenal would surely falter somewhere, somehow. . .

I'll remind you when that happens, Loyiks. . cool

Yeah. , I mean torment. , and that exactly is what we would do. So u still think your safe? Think again friend. . . from 5 points to 3 points. . . Slow and steady. . .we'll overtake.
Remember I said once that all United needs is 2 bad games for Arsenal. . .and the game at Birm'ham my friend, was def'ly one of them. . .One more. . .
And don't forget your still travelling to Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford. . . grin cheesy
I'm so loving the EPL. . .So much drama. . . smiley

About Wes, I meant every single word I said. . .
And if you've been following my view on the issue, I've been insistent on him staying, being the best possible outcome for both parties, but if he doesn't want to play ball, he can go replace Eduardo. . . cool

Jackal. . .

Lets remove every form of sentiments in watever we say. . . Football has gone way past that. . . You get paid by what you bring to the table, not by the number of years you've spent in a team. . . So if I spend 20 years in a team and I still play shite, my pay remains shite!! smiley grin

No doubt, Wes has been of great to use to United, but he is still a fringe player no matter how hard you look at it. . He is one of the players that are called up when no one else is available. Fletcher, O'Shea, . . .and even Park to an extent are also in that category.

But you should ask yourself this question, after 16 years, why is his pay still at 40K a weekhuh?? When his oldie mates like Giggsy and Scholes have upped theirs. . .
Was it a delibetarte form of injustice? Is Fergie picking on him deliberately. .? Obviously not.

Face it, Wes is the least improved oldie in the team. . .After 16 years at United, his abilities are still questionable. . .
Like Jackal said, He is the weakest link at United,

I understand why Fergie doesnt want him to leave. . In every team, no matter how unfair it might sound, You need fringe players. Players who wont play plenty games but would come on when starters are injured. . .
Every team has that. . .and they come in handy at crucial times. .
Fergie doesnt want to lose that in Wes. . .and at the same time, he doesnt want to pay him more than he is worth. .

Wes is safer and secure at United than anywhere else in the world. No matter how much they pay him. . .

No grade A team can buy him and pay him much, and a lower grade team wont do him well because it means no more trophies.

Best thing, Fergie and however handling the papers should seat Wes down and talk. Come out with a decision that favours everybody. . . And the only thing that would favour Wes is staying at United. . . cool even if it means 40K a week.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by justkunmi(op): 12:25am On Feb 26, 2008
Still on Wes?

The big question is. . .WHY NOW? Why is he asking for more money now? Why didnt he ask when his broke ass was on the bench. Why didnt he ask for a pay rise when Neville was on form. . .
Neville got injured, Wes started playing regularly, he now feels he is indidpensable. . .

If he goes. . .good riddance. .

Infact, why is Fergie still playin. .
we have Simpson in that position and the guy has been on point in every game he has played. . .

You guys would think I'm a devil. . .lol grin

Cos of this thread, I searched the whole of the internet for the replay of the tackle. It was abundant on Youtube. . .The video is even more popular than Chris Brown's Kiss Kiss. . . wink

Ok, the tackle was bad. . .but did anyone see Cisse's injury? The guy's bones were outside in the open!! Dunno wat kinda jazz he used for him to return to playing already. Maybe Eduardo should see Cisse for advice. .

But seriously, the noise about the injury is drivng me crazy. . .

Its alrite already. . .Please. .

@Eduardo

Who the Bleep is this? Wat is this nonsense? Creating a thread to talk about a fucking injury! Is Eduardo dead?
Wait a minute. . . Do you know how many professional footballers are injured as we speak? Imagine wat would happen if a thread is opened for everyone of them!

Oh, so I shoulda opened a thread each for Neville, Silvestre, Park, Scholes, Saha, . . . So stupid.

Infact, i was starting to feel sorry for Arsenal for losing a player at this critical time, but this has totally taken the shine away from the whole injury issue.

@all.
This is the most important time in the whole of the campaign. The last 12 games. We cant afford to drop silly points anymore like we did at Bolton and at West Ham. We must play like cannibals. We must fight for every point cos from here on not, every single point counts. Every game counts. Every goal counts. Every chance counts. Every miss counts. . Our foot must be on the pedal. . Constantly.

Guess Fergie was smarter afterall. The bet was def'ly psychological. . To make Ronaldo want to score in every game. And bet me, did it work. !

Anutha beautiful game from United. Looks like Rooney has gotten his mojo back.
Ronaldo has beaten Fergie by scoring 2 goals today. Guess we wont see him bald afterall.

Debosky. .
Voyeurism. . . .Its def'ly an Arsenal thing. .

You dare call Fergie a Miser? On what basis if I may ask?
He bought Rio in 2002 as the most expensive defender in the EPL, He signed Carrick, even though he wasnt worth it, for 18 million quid, He chased Hargreaves till the ends of the earth and paid his fees, He signed Carlos Tevez, Nani and Anderson in one transfer season. , He even paid Henrik Larsson, a pensioner, just to stretch his muscles at Old Trafford. . .and you open your mouth and call him a MISER?? You are obviously deluded, my friend. . .

Wes Brown is a pussy. . Thats all I see here. Why is he asking for more money now? Because he is playing regular football and he thinks he is indispensable?. . .no thanks to Gary Neville's injury. Why didnt he ask for more pay when his broke ass was on the bench. Now he suddenly feels he is underpayed after 16 years because he is now getting starting shirtshuh? Fucking retard. . He starts because we don't have a choice, not because he is good. .
. .
Infact, I woulda prefered Simpson in that position, but Fergie obviously likes oldies. . . .

Wes should be thankful he was in club like United, that keeps long and fagged out players. . expect Bolton, I guess. He should play the little amount of football left in his mediocre life and collect his due wages. . . .if not, the door is always open. . .

I mean, Veron left, United didnt die. Jaap Stam left, we survuved. Becham left, we still held our own. .Nistelrooy left, we kept moving. . .So Wes leaving would not even pluck a feather from United. . . So I guess Fergie was just pitying him so he is persuading him to stay. He knows no other manager can put up with his blunders and still keep him. . .

An honest advice to Wes, STAY AT UNITED WHERE YOUR BLUNDERS CAN BE OVERLOOKED, PLAY THE LITTLE AMOUNT OF FOOTBALL YOU GAT LEFT, AND COLLECT YOUR WEEKLY WAGES. . .DONT LOOK AT RIO'S PAYCHECK COS YOU GUYS ARE NOT ANYWHERE CLOSE IN ABILITY!!!!!!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by justkunmi(op): 8:57pm On Feb 22, 2008
If Wes Brown wants to leave, he should please do. . No doubt he has been a faithful servant, but should we keep him just because he is faithful? At present, Wes is the weakest link in the United team. He makes unforgivable blunders and his crosses are terrible. He is the least improved oldie in the team. . He's been in the team that long and his ability is still questionable. . . If he was worth it, surely his wages woulda been increased. No disrespect to Brown but we need a better, quicker and more capable right back to replace Neville permanently.
His service to United has been noted and seriously appreciated. . .but we have to move on.

Are we still talking about Arsenal's hopes?

Did anyone see Ancelotti after the game?
He was so happy after the draw at the Emirates. Cameras zoomed into his face when the referee blew the whistle. He was all smiles. He knew 80 percent of the job was done. Gettin a draw in a foreign land. . .and dragging Arsenal to the Fortress. . . grin

Heard some Gooners saying. . .we scored 5 at San Siro once we can do it again, , ,yeah rite.
That was against Inter wit Henry playing the game of his life. . .

This is wat is goin to happen. .
Milan is going to assign Gattuso to render Fab4 handicapped. They would frustrate Arsenal to watever lenght they can. .
'cmon, its SanSiro we are talking about here. Even referees are scared of the great Milano. . grin grin grin

I see a 1-0 win for Milan. . .and that wraps wit. . . nicely cool
