who is deciding what to review naaa?! Make up ur mind and let's review jor. Vesc What's wrong with 'Pretty woman'. Its one of the best movies ever made. Vintage Julia Roberts!! Anyone seen 'Due Date'? |
Let's do pretty woman. . |
Where's erryone? You guys travelled to the village for the holidays? Where's no internet? Happy Holidays! |
Expendables Review Summary Average Rating-55% General Comment- if you want to see cool action moves, plenty firepower, brute strenght and indiscriminate use of explosives, see this movie. But if you want more, errh for example, some story to back up all those action moves; that Saint Obi movie, what's the title again?, did more justice to story telling. Next movie please, Who's choosing a movie next? Pls come up. Happy Boxing Day everybody. |
JeSoul You gave me a comment even though you said you weren't goin to comment. So your comment is regarded as a comment and it wld be treated as a comment. .*scratch that please* lol Vesc Dude, I'm back in civilization oh. Saw all the movies that piled up. Not so many sef. Most of em were dead movies. So who is choosin a movie next? Jesoul shld choose if the people before her are missing. |
So we all agree Expendables was a huge letdown! A good cast doesn't in anyway translate into a good movie. Tardy storyline, weak dialogue. All the director wanted us to see was the amount of stuff they were willing to blow up! And yeah Mr Director., we saw it. Thanks, Wat next!? Infact I change my rating to 20% Let's round this thing up so it won't get down to 3%. I suggest 'Social Network' next. I'll really like to see what y'all think about it. See if anyone wld echo my thoughts. |
JeSoul Tellin me you don't have a comment for me is worse than me thinkin you don't have a comment for me. *wailing* Better find me a comment oh. PlssssssssssssssObi I'll be on here. Don't worry. Nice one. Vesc. Everyone keeps crediting Expendables for its great cast. But I disagree. Bruce Willis and Arnold only showed up in a scene. Blah!!! Statham and Stallone did 80% of the movie. I'll give 'Red' more praise for its cast. (By the way I suggest the movie too for review). I change my rating to 30%. Yea! Next movie plsss. |
Children Children stop fighting. Lol. Expendables wasn't all that. Great cast and action sequences tho but the whole story was wack! And Arnold and Bruce Willis only appeared in one scene?? So much for a star studded cast. I rate 50%. I suggest Social Network next. |
Sorry folks! This service thing isn't that easy mehn. I see a lot has happened. Expendables!! Let's go. But I wlda suggested Social Network tho. Maybe next. |
PING!!! Where's everyone? |

Haven't seen this movie. So I'll watch from the stands. Kobi don't forget to feed those horses ![]() |
Vesc I'll accept your review Like you said, the climax of the movie was when Kevin Spacey walked out of the police station in his wobbly strides. And the camera focused on those legs and like magic, his stride changed into a brisk walk towards a black car. And the car zoomed off! Touche!! Yep we're done with the reviews. Except someone else adds something. And yes I still smell trouble. But let's proceed. Who's next? |

THE USUAL SUSPECTS Cast: Gabriel Byrne, Kevin Spacey, Stephen Baldwin, Kevin Pollak, Benicio DelToro, Chazz Palminteri, Pete Postlethwaite, Giancarlo Esposito, Suzy Amis, Dan Hedaya Director: Bryan Singer The "usual suspects" are five men: an ex-cop- turned-crook, a psycho entry man, a hardware specialist, a crippled con man and one other dude. The story is told in two different time frames. In the present, looking back on events, Klint sits across a desk from Kujan, unfolding the tale as he remembers it. But the con man is an unreliable narrator, and viewers of The Usual Suspects are constantly kept guessing about what "truth" is. In fiction films, we're used to getting an impartial take on "reality"; this movie twists that principle. Not everything presented in the movie actually happens, and some things occur differently than shown. Singer does an excellent job of blending humor into his noir thriller. There's enough to avoid a sense of ponderousness, but not so much that the movie becomes campy. Unlike many movies, this one continually builds to its conclusion. It starts out as the story of a small job, then evolves into a search for the dreaded Keyser Soze - a legendary criminal of such viciousness that even hardened men think twice before crossing him. The Usual Suspects moves towards its inevitable finale, Soze's shadowy presence becomes increasingly important, and we get the sense that those who think they hold the cards actually have the weakest hands. In the way it folds its various elements into a single resolution (which the astute viewer will be able to guess beforehand) Singer can be accused of toying with the audience. Like Nolan in Inception. ![]() This film requires attention to details. The Usual Suspects doesn't take any prisoners. A trip to the bathroom will leave you floundering when you return. The cast is solid, but I specifically loved Kevin Spacey. I rate this movie 95%. ![]() |
Lol. Nice one vesc. 360 aint that far off. But I smell trouble sha. I'll gist you on YIM. lol. Yep. My turn. Why we haven't reviewed this before baffles me. But not anymore. I choose "The usual suspects" for review. I'm sure we've all seen it. Let's av your reviews next. |
