Any recent success on Italy visa application
Please can you share your documents submitted n validity period given.

Is there any other schegen states that some without travel history is sure of getting Visa

As I understand,the transmission of passport is for when you are in a different location from where you did your biometrics and do it has to be taken there and also the sum of 10,120 for the courier of the passport to you. I did mine in Abuja but was in Lagos when I got my letter,so had to go to the vfs in Lagos and I was told I will have to pay the sum of 23k for both the transmission and the courier to wherever I am based.I did a quick calculation and sent a relation in Abuja my passport ordering him to take it to the vfs center there but I had to pay the sum of 10,120 for the passport to be sent back to him because according to him they don't give the passport to a 3rd party or an agent except you walk in yourself to collect your passport.I am still waiting for them.

Thanks for your response but in this case. Biometrics was done last year in Lagos but application was denial. She reapplied this year, and was granted. Sent in passport via courier with return envelope. Only for her to be asked to pay for passport transmission charges.

I am about to submit my application for TRV, but on the family Application form, i have a sister based in Canada, but we are not in talking terms for almost 2 years now, but i need to include her name and address in my family application, What should i do? i plan to omit her name from my application. is it a good move or not .

Do not omit her, cos she might have also listed you as a sibling when she was filing her records and CIC will interpret it in a different way.

Documents were all provided by her son in law in Canada who invited:
Cover letter
Pay slip
Letter of introduction from company
Letter from the ob/gyn stating why she is needed to come take care of the daughter.
She only provide her passport. She is going for omugwo.

They're just acknowledging your biometrics data and the validity.
Look out for their email. They should be giving you a response on your application soon.

Thanks to everyone contributing on this forum. I read through and gained a lot of insight before applying for our visa.

I got to find out that if you apply via the paper route, your application goes to Kenya for review and if you go via the online route your application goes to the UK for review. From my own observations I don’t think the folks in Kenya know their job because after our 1st refusal using the paper route, we reapplied online and used the exact documents and we were granted the visa.

So, if you have been refused visa via the paper route I think you should re apply online.

APPLIED FOR TOURIST VISA WITH MY WIFE.

DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED

My company registration Docs.
Letters from business partners with who I have on-going projects with (they just gave details of our on-going projects).
Marriage certificate.
Flight ticket (booking only).
Hotel Reservations (booking.com).
House rental agreement.
Cars proof of ownership document.
Proof of Investment.
Invitation letter from my aunty + her PR & proof of employment in Canada.
Company ID card.
My wife’s proof of employment.
Bank statement + Reference letter from bank stating I am the sole signatory to the account
A very Detailed Cover Letter that included the following:
-Introduction
-Work(explained my business)
-Reason for trip
-Planned itinerary (places we plan to visit in Toronto with dates)
-Source of funds (I stated I was sponsoring the trip and that I also operate my company bank account for both business and personal needs)
-Trip expenditure breakdown (this included flights cost, Hotel cost and Money in hand. The total of this must be available in your bank statement with a healthy amount left so they don’t think you’re going to spend your entire bank balance on one trip. Also Try and get the cheapest hotel and flight . For a 10 day stay we put a total of CDN $4000 as money in hand)
-Proof of my Travel history (US, Dubai, Egypt, South Africa, Seychelles)

Be truthful with any previous visa refusals.
Also make sure you double check all your answers on the online portal.

You will have to merge all the pdf files you want to attach to a place holder together as one before you upload. You have to make sure the final size is not more than 4mb, you may need to compress to reduce the size and still you have to make sure its still legible too. You can use the link below;

Please house i need your assistance. For online application, how do I attach more than one document to one request. Especially for the documents required to show proof of means of financial support.

Quite a number of things. I wrote a detailed letter of clarification to address the refusal. I did another detailed letter of invitation which stated that I will be fully responsible for her expenses. Then a purpose of travel letter from my mum that emphasized her family and job ties. I submitted updated bank statements and a flight ticket this time. I even added my siblings birth certificates to show ties and all that. Basically, I was more detailed this time. I omitted a lot of things in the previous application, so I guess being detailed and favoured by God came to play the second time. We have already landed, so she'll come in when the baby is due.

Please can you be kind enough to share a copy of the letters you submitted with me. Personal infos can be hidden. I sent you an email. Thank you

To God be the glory. My mum's TRV application was approved on Friday. I took the risk and reapplied online immediately and submitted more detailed documentation (letter of clarification for the refusal, purpose of travel, letter of invitation, updated bank statements, budget breakdown) this time. I resubmitted some old docs I used before. With God, it turned out well and in less than a month 21st Dec to 18th January (despite the holidays in between), we received passport request. Thanks for the advises. Please don't give up after a refusal. Try and be detailed as possible the first time and hope for the best.

I previously applied for a visiting Visa in 2016 but was denied. Now I intend to reapply and wish to attached a cover letter to it addressing the reasons that was given for the denial.

Secondly I just want to confirm if I would be required to do another biometric considering the fact that the Visa was denied in 2016?.

Hello, I have been following the thread for quiet a while now and decided to share my success story to encourage someone.
My US visa expired July last year and I tried to renew it in October but was called for interview after doing Dropbox. The category had changed to a B1/B2 as I had the intention of using it for childbirth this year. The Visa however was denied. VO said the hospital I chose in Houston was fond of defrauding Medicare. The denial shook me for about 3 hours but I picked myself up and started the Canadian Visa that same day.
First I answered the questionnaire and noted the documents that was required and went about gathering them. This time my husband was the Principal applicant and then my daughter and I dependents.
About 2 weeks later I was ready to submit the online application. Here are a list of documents submitted.
Employment letter
Bank statement of 3.1M
House documents
Letter of introduction from his office
Marriage certificate
Travel history
Invitation letter from my cousin with her tax forms and driving license
Travel itenery

These documents were basically all his as they didn’t request for mine or my daughters’ except for the immigration forms we filled

My timeline :
Sunmittted: 22 Nov 2018
Biometrics: 27th Nov 2018
Approval mail ( RFP): Dec 5th 2018
Submitted: Dec 6th 2018

I had thought it would take less than 5 days for the stamped passport to be returned. But December ended!! To say it didn’t test my faith would be a big lie! I tracked my passport everyday!!! And finally
Stamped Visa: Jan 4th 2019

All 3 of us were given Visas: Hubby 2 years, me 3 years, my daughter 4 years!
Leaving for Canada next week! Meanwhile I had booked my flight since I got the approval mail!! I wasn’t going to take a NO!!! So yeah thats my long story!! Keep the faith! Be positive! And go ahead... Wish everyone a positive story this new year

2) Does it demand d US bank details,IBAN,etc- or does d bank contact d hosp directly on their own? As proof of authenticity.

1 - sorry i don't have a sample to show you but u must get the original copy from a bank.
2 - it requires the account details of the hospital/doctor
3- Form A is a CBN document so it's same for every bank in nig
