IamChuzzy: Olisa Metuh granted N400 million Naira bail? How much was he originally charged for?
I am not a fan of politics, but the truth is; we are all politicians directly or indirectly!
i just have to give my 2 cents on the manipulation going on in the political sector of this country.
Olisa Metuh was charged for money laundering involving the sum N400 million right? and was granted a bail of N400million oyea? Interesting! Same amount, its just a way of collect back the money since he refuse to return it. This shows obviously and evidently that this regime is manipulating the Judiciary.
The presidency is now the Federal, Judiciary and legislature all together
We can only hope for the best! Keep praying to whatever/whoever you believe in! This country MUST get better!
Good morning!
lalasticlala, mynd44 Bail of N400milion doesn't mean they're collecting the money. If he jumps bail then the money may be forfeited but if he complies with the bail conditions he has been given, the government cannot touch the money |

jayfolarin: So you want the government to use their personal incomes to develop the country first after which you will decide to contribute your quota to the economy if you like the results or not?!! i guess you should also ask them to help you put breakfast, lunch and dinner on your table!! The development in the west is as a result of the taxes generated from its citizens, not the other way round!
You can't eat your cake and have it! What do you mean by "personal income"? I hope you're not referring to the revenue being generated from various sources such as oil sales, payroll taxes, individual & company income taxes, etc, which all ultimately come from the 'guy on the street', and instead of being used for development, are being used by govt to buy private properties all over the world, finance election campaigns, and squander as they deem fit? Some states have not paid their workers for more than 6months, the governors complain of being broke yet can't explain what they do with their monthly federal allocations & IGR! I'm sure no father will be happy paying the school fees of a child who continually performs woefully despite all being provided. In the same vein, no one would be happy paying (increased) taxes when there's no light, no motorable roads, no salary, no good water, ... |

You have a lot to learn about what's going on around you First, you don't call people ignoramus because you're trying to make a point, expecially when you may turn out to be the ignoramus at the end of the day. Second, from your post I'm assuming you don't live in Nigeria, I wonder why that is, if we seem to be having it so rosy here, why don't you relocate to Nigeria to enjoy with us? Third, Nigerians are smart people. They know what their money is being used for. When they suddenly start seeing charges that were not there before in their previous transactions, without an equivalent improvement in quality of services being provided, they raise eyebrows, like intelligent people often do. |

Ximonak: If you are buying season film cds you have sinned, you buy any foreign movie 2h, There is so many things we do in nigeria that is wrong even to the laws of the nation but God overlooks, We still spray money even in church weddings (you have sinned because the law of the land Nigeria says its wrong)
Our righteousness is a filthy rage(ask the holy spirt to lead you, because I may eat bread and no one will sin, you may want to eat it and cause people to sin) I kind of agree with you. The Bible defines sin as a transgression of the law, so if something is deemed illegal by the laws of the land, then that's sin against the land. It may not necessarily be sin against God, though, which is where the guidance of the Holy Ghost (and maybe your conscience) comes in |

Think about it this way: the man's shameful behaviour is punishment enough for his family. Imagine the psychological trauma the wife and kids will go through daily knowing fully well their father not only died a shameful death, but is rotting away somewhere. It'll give them nightmares for years. All I'm saying is, allow the family to carry the body and put him in the ground properly. |

Davido has his fans and they are in millions! He is a musical genius to these millions especially in Africa.. It's entertainment man, you do what works for you! I guess u're right in a way. He's a genius to his fans. But don't you think to instigate your fans into insulting a private club house just because you were denied access is a little immature? |

austinvsb1: Id.iots that have never stepped out of the shores of Nigeria commenting above and snaring Davido.. One mumu even said 'here in the states..." which state? Abia??
Americans underrates your own and you join in to want to underrate him as well! That's called f*ucking slavery retards!! You are mentally shortchanged to believe that despite being an A-list celebrated star in a continent of more than 1billion black people,Davido is way below his fellow American artists because he plys his trade in Africa! How badly has the black psych been damaged!!
His music might not be the best but Davido is a star, a music icon, a game changer in the music scene in Africa! This act by a st.upid club to treat him like he is a nobody is highly condemnable!
Hypocrisy/slave mentality is when you jump/vibe and celebrate songs like 'b*tch better have my money' and come around to say Lil Kesh sings rubbish!
Start thinking! Guy pipe down before you blow your gasket. Davido is not as good as he or his fans think he is. Have you ever heard of real artistes like 2face, Psquare, or even Wizkid being bounced by any club in the world? It is empty vessels that make the loudest noise |

MsGlobalwonder: you still don't get the point? You don't put the law into your hands because you are hurt. That is why there is the court of law. If he had reported, she would have probably been jailed; and that will solely depends on the real situation on ground. For instance, if I were to hurt people that have hurt me; then I will be a proud killer of at least 10 people. Life is not all about our emotions, there are limits to the power we have over anyone, even our kids. If you kill your child, no one will say cos she is your child you can go. She is a life and it is equal before the law. Are u going to tell me you have had 10 people in your lives who committed crimes so grave as to be equated with what this evil woman did? Then I'll be surprised if you're not already under the permanent care of a seasoned psychiatrist! This is not just marital infidelity we're dealing with here, read the story again: She brought home one child, then the second, third, up to six! Like I said, I hope he's found not guilty. In short, any good lawyer will not find it difficult getting him acquitted |

MsGlobalwonder: see, there is nothing new under the sun. I don't know them and i'm not in any way speaking for the woman. I know what women do/can do to keep their marriage and trust me him being impotent albeit being oblivious of it is very close. What transpired for at least 10yrs between husband and wife is best known to both of them and I can assure you that the truth will shake your belief. However, nothing the woman may have done warrants the man to take away her life. If people kkill people because of the extent at which they are hurt, you know men that have cheated and abused their wives and girlfriends will be long dead. Then, there will be no need for the law; you offend me, I kill you! That is Nihilism. No one has any right to kill another person. If people didn't deserve to die for their crimes, then what the hell is capital punishment? |
