OP should have warned readers that the picture they're about to view is very graphic, with parental guidance advised |
My only issues though: 1. These are not bullet wounds, though your account says they were shooting sporadically. These seem more like machete/dagger wounds. 2. The military did not come to the aid of the victims, they only came to foil a retaliation. Although that's not totally bad in itself, judging that more lives may have been lost, there is no mention of any arrest of the perpetrators of this dastardly act, or any investigation whatsoever. 3. You made it sound like the FG should be applauded for sending representatives within 48hrs, but truth be told, that is too much delay! 48hrs is 2days. If you are coming yourself as the President, understandable, but 2 days to send someone? Haba! |
They should have done this long ago. Now the government is going to have to perfect excuse: no money. |
any financial incentive involved? |
MariaJob:Thanks. I started a blog on blogger but still at a loss how to design the page. Tried to access your face book link but not available. I'll very much like every assistance I can get if you have the time |
I like the poll, simple and easy to use. No loading and reloading after every question. Nice. But after submitting everything, I was returned to the poll page without being notified if the submission was successful or not. |
Yeah, the school authorities should come and answer why |
ok |
nike4love:Things are currently not rosy, but its not as bad as the foreign media is painting it |
blueto:Our politics especially as youths has to go beyond Buhari vs GEJ, APC vs PDP, north vs south, etc. it is one of the shackles dragging us back as a nation. On the issue of the IMF list, I still maintain it smells fishy. We all know the IMF a strong political tool of the US, and along with the World Bank, a major way it (the US) controls its puppet nations. Only few would fail to note the stark coincidence between the timing of this list and the refusal of the present administration to dance to their tunes just a few months ago. As in, do you really mean to tell me that you believe Nigeria is not one of the top 5 fastest growing economies in Africa at present, not to talk of a Top 15 list? |
blueto:You'll agree with me though, that there are many norms on NL that should not be allowed on any well moderated discussion platform? |
blueto:I'm not against you engaging me on an intellectual level, whether you agree with my submissions or not, in fact I tend to enjoy those who counter my opinions intelligently, since it is often a learning experience for me, and maybe for opposing party. What I detest & hardly tolerate is the use of insulting terminologies, especially when its so brazen and unrefined. |
blueto:I wasn't referring to you when I made my comment. So please redirect your anger and hatred. |
This list was compiled by IMF? Then it all makes sense. Suddenly our growth that has been projected to be among the fastest in the world is now no where near the fastest even in Africa? Maybe if we had accepted the so called IMF advice and loan, we'll be right at the top of their list. |
so sad that life is such a cheap commodity in this country. no light, no fuel, no drugs, no food, no money, no love. |
Oz4realsss:Always read well and understand before you comment - online or offline. |
This man pretends to be speaking against the actions of the Fulanis, but if you read closely he's actually defending them. If it is their 'lifestyle' to carry unlicensed weapons all over the country, and they only use these arms 'when they or their livestock are being threatened', is he then saying that all these killings in their hundreds and several tens that has been going on in the East these past few months, that it was because the fulanis were threatened?! Secondly how do you leave your state, and come into another man's state, go into his farm with your hundreds of cattle, without any form of consent whatsoever, destroying his crops and possibly only means of livelihood, and then slaughter him and his entire family, and claim you were provoked? My recommendations: These farmers in the East should get their own weapons, shoot on sight any Fulani herdsmen they see, and seize their cattle. Until the federal government comes to its senses and does the needful |
should there really be a new thread discussing the same issue? |
The inferiority complex will not allow all the Nigerian doctor bashers to comment on this. The few that come might want to give ''valid reasons'' while this strike was essential, or that it was properly conducted. smh |
Why do I keep seeing this everywhere and not on any know sports site? |
Nice joke to start your day, I guess. |
What is the guarantee that this will work? If development cannot even get to the grassroots under the much smaller geographical area of the states, how then do we trust it will with the large regions? How does Regionalism address our biggest problem as a nation, which is the hydra headed monster called corruption? I'm of the opinion that the fact that the regional system seemed to have worked a little before, was a s a result of the people at the helm, not the system. I doubt can anyone prove that wrong |
Snow30:Whether mathematics or quantitative reasoning, or life in general, know this: Things are not always what they seem. You've got to think outside the box. Correct answer is 96 as previously outlined. You can decide to consult another mathematics professor besides me. |

So this is the owner of sahara reporters. Interesting. But OP, don't you think you could be sued for this? |
faruz:Lol. You want make dem ban me? Let's blame the work of the devil. He's always an easy, standby scapegoat ![]() |
shadrach77:You may have a point sir. Is there a time limit for the award itself? As in, what are the criteria? And if I recall properly I think Reekado Banks had spent roughly the same 2yrs before he won it? |
There are some accusations that should not even be replied. This deputy governor fall my hand. |

noeloge82:Even if there are, they're usually overgrown by bushes... Aside from that it will not be bad if they have radio and TV talk shows regularly to enlighten the public |
Roadmap27:you may be right |
What is wrong with this guy? He needs to grow up |
