Collection in person

Please come with all of the following:

Your Original TLScontact Application Checklist
Your Original Photographic ID
Copy of Your Photographic ID
Copy of birth certificate (if collecting for your minor child) *
Collecting using a representative

It is not possible for a third party to collect the documents on behalf of an applicant, except in the following cases:

A parent collecting for a dependent child (where child is below 18);
Applicants 65 years and above (with already issued proxy form obtained during submission);
One member of a family group collecting the passports for the whole family, if applied together;
Government Ministry representatives and Business Network company representative, prior approved by the British High Commission and the company’s authorized signatories with a letter of introduction and a company ID card.
Please note that all third party collections above will require a means of national identification e.g. International Passport, National ID Card, Driver’s License.

IMPORTANT: If any of the above documents are missing, your representative will not be allowed to retrieve your travel document.

Jxool & dzee1 I hope you guys get your passports by tomorrow latest because this situation is traumatic for anyone who has a planned trip outside Nigeria already. No one envisaged this delay, if I did I wouldn’t have dabbled into it until things went to normal because I hate anything that will stress me mentally when Nigeria on its own is stressful already.

I hear TLS are in a position to get back your passport while awaiting decision.
It's even on their site, but they are not responding. Have been trying to establish contact inside tls cos it seems someone in there has to push it for you.

Please anyone here that has contacts in TLS pls help us out. We don't have the option of postponing or rescheduling our tickets. The UK decision can wait, we have other very important travels to make very soon.

This is my position, I need my passport back.
If they had mentioned this delay from the onset I'd either have done express service or the option of me holding my passport till a decision has been made.
Now I have a trip to the US on the 7th and my passport is still not out. I have ticket and non refundable accommodation already paid for the US trip.


Pls if anyone knows any means to get back passport and how long it will take, pls help me out.

And you can 094 number it will charge you local call rate but will divert your call to Uk.

To edit the details on your covid card if there is mistake you can call the customer care line they will assist to do everything 0700 220 1122 that’s the number for anyone who might needed the service

Go to alagbon in Lagos you will get it same day and if you can’t make it there go to police headquarters in your state/city they will do it there but it will take time for you to get it but alagbon you will get it same day

I just collected my Covid vaccination card somewhere in Ogun state. Upon getting home, I had an overwhelming premonition to verify the barcode using a QR code now so I won't get stranded whenever I eventually put it to use.
Unfortunately, I discovered upon accessing the portal that my date of birth was incorrect. Asides that, my name was entered halfway. Again, I also realized that the portal only reflected the data of my first dose vaccination. That of the second has not been entered. I therefore will like to seek professional advise on what to do. Have done all this I even went to VAC but they said my passport is not yet back. I hope something comes up anytime from now because my application is 32days now

I think you should contact the visa office that worked on your Canada TRV and try to seek an extension. Explain your situation to them .
Another thing is -
Send a email to the Uk people , call them , email the visa offices directly. I can avail you the email I used to send additional documentation to New Delhi. Just explore every option listed!

You can’t cancel your application now because the procedure takes15 working days which will be counterproductive to this cause.
Finally let’s hope it comes out tomorrow.

My advice and what I do. Email iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int and when you get auto response email attach your passport data page and your medical request form they will reply with a date for you to come for the medical and you can also go there. They will ask you to book manually the customer care will assist you there. But take this note they CLOSED FROM 29th of Nov and will resume work on 6th of Dec, so if you go make sure you go this week because through out next week they close.
Was there today that’s how I know about the closure for those date.

Thanks so much for your advice you can please send the email for the New Delhi so I can also email them. My application is 32 working days bio date is 12 oct and I just got the medical request last week Friday. So it just makes my head turning left and right

First Time Applicant in fact I have never entered a plane before.
God is faithful and is always on time
God stood by me and didn’t put me to shame when I started this Canada journey I didn’t even know I could do it because somebody told me Canada is a no go area so channeled my energy towards the U.K immediately I got admission there I was ready to apply for a visa but my dad insisted that Canada is the goal, not the U.K. I reluctantly applied to just one university (University of Windsor) Master of Management(HRM) I applied in February and in between I got a job offer that was very suitable for my career but they decided to bond me for 2 years I was willing to let go of traveling out to take the job offer and my father insisted that Canada is the goal I was hurt because I have gone through all the processes for the job but I had to leave it because of that I found nairaland but I have already applied to the university then I saw something like career progression then I was scared because I have B.Sc. in Insurance and I applied for HRM all in all I was granted admission on May 30. I also learned about the NSE route and that I have to take IELTS that’s when wahala started oo because right from day one my uncles have always told me that the exam is very hard so I have made up my mind to avoid it but at this point, there’s no going back I practiced by myself and wrote it. Through this platform, I met Spectro baba (lol) the first time I messaged him I was able to pay my tuition fee through his guidance something I’ve been trying to do for a month. I applied on August 31st I went for upfront medical since July I was intentional about it. The wait after getting my correspondence letter was very tiring I sent a lot of emails, ordered my GCMS notes yet to receive it though, and raised webforms but I calm down a bit after the MP I contacted told me congratulations I still waited for a week before I got my approval. The wait humbled me because I don’t even know who to beg I remembered sending mail and I used their creator to beg them. All in all, God did it NLP also helped me to pray and I attended reboot camp. The way I will dance in church tomorrow ehn in fact they will need to hold me. GLORY!!!!!
