LIST OF DOCUMENTS NEEDED

So for your travel to Canada, you will need
1 Enrollment letter
2. Your stamped Passport
3. Covid 19 negative result
4. Receipt of tuition fee
5. Your quarantine plan ( for both vaccinated and unvaccinated )
6. Arrive Can receipt
7. Passenger locator form( this is needed if you are transiting through UK. That is if you book flights like BA etc to be submitted to the UK government
8. Print study permit approval letter.

Please if anyone is going to travel anytime from now please do let us know what documents is needed at Nigeria airport. I book Egyptair and am leaving 31st anyone leaving same date and same airline we can travel together going to Toronto.

I got a mail early this morning by 4:16am............ and behold it was PPR........... I started Ph.D program fall term remotely.
21 weeks and 3 days of waiting, he finally gave me a new song............ Indeed what God cannot do does not exist my people..
I contacted an MP in October and the response I got was that my application was complex, it needed additional review. God proved himself as the only one that can do it, not by the documents I submitted, but the divine mercy he showed unto me.
For everyone waiting, God will give you songs of praise as he did for me...
I am awaiting my son's approval, as I trust God for divine perfection.

I was so so happy guy got my ppr today.

I just want to post on here so as to motivate anyone whose still waiting for ppr or whose about to submit the application.

WHAT GOD CANT NOT DO DOES NOT EXIST. God has been wonderful to me.

Am 40years no BSC no other qualifications apart from weac result and neco. But I put everything in Gods hand before I submitted my application.

I got my admission August 8 but defer my admission to Jan 10,2022 because I couldn’t meet up to submit my application for September intake.

I finally submit September 20, 2021
Biometric September 27,2021
That’s when the waiting started
November 19,2021 I finally got medical request
Because no booking space I got booking to December 7,2021
December 11, 2021 my medical was updated to passed.
December 13,2021 I was sitting watching movie on my iPad when I got the message for Correspondent letter and Ppr

I don’t waste time I went to send my passport first before I start to send this message.

What I will say is don’t let anyone discourage you in anything you want to do in life. Try and fail it’s better than not trying at all.

When I wanted to apply people keep saying am old for diploma course at the age of 40. But I don’t get discouraged at all. I decided to gather all the documents myself.

MARCH 2021 i got conditional offer from centennial college to study human resource management (pgd) i took a pause for 5months because i did not have enough money to pay for my deposit to get the proper admission letter (LOA), and also i did not have any means to to get proof of funds for visa application .so i had a friend who i said i could use his account he is into construction ,he had a balance of 20million but he wont be able to transfer the money to my account cos it is for his work.i remember asking a guru here if its possible to use a friends account and he was like 3rd party is not guarantee but nothing is impossible.so i took faith and use the account ,the worst will be a rejection and i will re strategize for my next application .i did not pay any deposit required by the school i just went ahead to use the admission deposit letter to apply.

As at when i applied in july 31 the statement of i used was 2moths late,it was not recent it was printed as at June 2nd ,i did not know the statement of account to be use has to be printed few days to your application to show its recent ,but i had already submitted my application.

my sop was just one page very scattered ,i wrote the wrong passport number in my sop .when i was addressing my sponsor i just wrote he is my uncle i did not add any picture or documents to prove relationship ,my home ties i said i had my mum and my dad back home to come back to .
After 3moths and 2weeks i decided to send a web form to remind ircc that i need a decision to know my next step in life.i sent the web form like 2ce, after then i just got feed up and i stopped checking,maybe because i have not even paid any school fee that might even be the reason for delay ,i paid for gcms notes with @mekano i was even reluctant to send my details ,he called to follow up for my details till now i have not still sent it cos i gave up on the application. 3rd week of November i decided to check my account but i could not access it ,it continued like that for over a week ,last friday i just decided to try it on another browser and behold it was original passport request(PPR) it dropped since on the 7th of December but saw it on the 10th,mind you my phone screen is bad so i did not have access to my mail i tried opening it on my system but was giving me plenty authentication wahala i just left it .

when i saw the ppr i ran out of my office was jubilation on the street telling my mum the good news .the lord did it when i was almost giving up no school fee paid ,no plenty documents submitted i used a total outsiders account for proof of fund ,all indication was against me but he turned it around for me for good .thank you Lord, i pray this favor goes round

I have already paid Qlife for medicals oh and I was told IOM is fully booked too. Nawa oh!

I will suggest you go to iom ikeja and you can book manually there and they might give you closer date

I just did my medical yesterday. But you have to go to iom they will book you manually

You can have enrollment letter only when you have started your class online. But if you haven’t when you get to the point of entry you will show your letter of admission.

Hello Canadian aspirants,
There is this question I wish to address here, that people keep asking me and the question is why is my study visa application taking so long , what could be the reason behind it. At first I use to tell them that maybe it's bcus VOs got their hands full with applications and they should have more patience, bcus apps are processed badge by badge.
But then again I got to discover one of the reasons why some of our applications were delayed. Mind you, this information is base on my perspective and observation.

Whenever an applicant files in an application, the app goes through 2 vital stages at the embassy before a decision will be made and what are those 2 stages, am sure most of you know about this.
(a) Eligibility Review
(b) Background check

Now I will explain the in-depth aforementioned stages for your better understanding in order to clear the grey areas that may arise.

I will start with Background check/review.
Background review is a process whereby the embassy will carry out an investigation on an applicant by using the information the applicant provide with their record, in order to ascertain if the applicant have committed a crime before, refused a visa before, ordered to leave any country before and to find out if the said applicant will be a threat to their security or is on a wanted watch list in any country.
Background check comprises of 2 parts
(1) Standard Documentation check
(2)Security and Criminality check.

Standard Documentation check : This is the stage where the embassy verifies the applicant claims and the authenticity of the documents.
If the applicant case file is well presented and the VOs feels their is no need to scrutinize deeper, then there might be no requirement for the VO to start calling the applicant work employers, references e.t.c. I know your surprise that Vo use to call your employers at work, yes they do but in some cases.
The VOs have a way with that, they are experience enough to ascertain the logical disposition of every applicant case. But if the VO have any concerns, they will ask for additional documents, do further scrutiny by (Calling on phone, Visiting if the need arises)

(
(2) Security and Criminality check:
This stage is carried out by Canadian intelligence and security agencies and it is done with or without cooperation of the authorities of the countries the applicant lived in within the past few months or years and it is done Independently from Ircc.
Believe me when I say this, this task looks deep into your life, ircc may decide to check your social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) activities, associations to find out if you are/were involved or are/were associated in any way with anyone who is/was involved in espionage, terrorism, organised crime, crime against humanity or war crime.
It is at this stage that they can also find out if an applicant lied while filling their application form by clicking No, on the educational history on the form, that they have not acquired B.sc degree before while truthfully they are B.sc graduates.
Now the question is, how will they find out, VO will use your name to search for your account in any social media platforms.
The applicant that lied that he or she has not attained a B.sc level, in their Facebook account they will be careless enough to leave their university convocation pictures or any university pictures, NYSC pictures. Once the VO checks it and find out these information, it will be a big problem for the applicant.

This Security and Criminality check is a serious and time consuming stage and it involves many agencies like CSIS, INTERPOL, NASC, Database checking and Touch base with local police, many things are considered here like The Number of countries the applicant visited and verify if the applicant has any criminal record that may make them inadmissible to Canada.

(B) Eligibility Review: At this stage this is where your * LOA offered by the DLI * Prove of Fund * SOP * Home Ties * Evidence that you will exit the country e.t.c are subjected to scrutiny by the VO.
If after reviewing them and the applicant application meets the requirements of the IRCC ACT, then the VO will request the applicant to undergo Medical exam to complete the application..
It is in these Review of Eligibility that some applicants fail to meet bcus their application fail to meet up with Requirements for ircc act (Insufficient Fund, Course correlation, Limited Home Ties, Failure to convince the VO that the primary intention is to study)

In summary of all these I've written, as an applicant if your application have passed the normal processing time and your wondering what could be delaying embassy from finalizing your app, that thing delaying your app is (Background check)

Background Review is broad and time consuming and whenever an applicant have been to more than 2 or 3 countries or the nature of the applicant profession, that is the determining factor, the time length the application may take. If you ve been to more than 2 countries, VO will have to reach out to the Authorities in those countries and make enquiries about you and this might take awhile bcus the authorities in those countries will have to do their own digging and come up with information about you and share it with Canada, so imagine been in 3 countries, embassy will contact them to obtain infor about you and bliv me it will take time.
Although some countries don't share an in-depth details of an applicant to Canada bcus of their policy and the infor is Classified, but you see Canada and U.S.A they are blood brothers they share everything together.

So my brothers and sisters, whenever your application is taking so long, just know that the cause of it is your Background Check bcus your eligibility review doesn't take time, it's something that can be completed within 3 days or 1week top

But about the eligibility review it doesn’t mean they not processing the application.

I saw an application that was refused, the day they sent the refusal letter is when eligibility started and background check started when the biometric was done. The portal was updated the day they sent the refusal letter.

What I will suggest is raise a webform and remind of the application and that the medical has been done.
