You can go with a photocopy of your passport, just inform them that your passport is with the U.K. embassy (show them evidence). send IOM or QLife an email concerning this before going for the medicals. All the best

Good day gurus please I need advice on what to do.
My bio was 12 oct and I got message last week which is 18th of November that a decision has been made on my application till now I haven’t get email for passport collection. The worst thing is I got a medical request from Canada that I really need to do with my passport. Please advice me how can I get the passport back as time is not on my side. Have email no response and no phone number to call. Please please I will be happy if someone can guide me. Am stressed out like now only have 1week left for me to get the medical done.

Mine is also like this and I got email from sitel on Thursday that decision was made on my application but till today it’s not yet transfer to VAC my bio was 12th October

Yay, this doesn't look promising o. My travel is Sunday this week and decision hasn't be transferred to VAC. Looks like there is still a long way to go.

I did my biometrics on 13 October. Standard 10 year visit visa.

Please how long does it take to change your medical status to pass on your portal/ gckey account.

I did medicals on the 4th of this month but those people didn't do it first come first serve, they did based on appointment time. I even went very early thinking I will be the first but Dem shock me

Actually I did my medical ls today at QLIFE, VI.

And it was basically a first come, First Serve thing.

I was there very early before 8am.

And i was done before 10:30am

Thanks so much. Would have get my medical done but no available spot that’s why I never do the upfront medical. I just submitted my application September 20th and biometric done September 27th

Getting medical request is a very good sign of approvals all things being equal. For getting a date, You will need to send emails attaching your medical request sheet to Qlife and IOM to get available date and explain that you have been given 30 days to respond to the request. If you are in Lagos, it will be best to visit any of the clinics to explain your situation too as to get a date within the timeline. The better thing is always to have your medicals done upfront as to avoid the delay that comes with this kind of situation.

I will do that tomorrow as am at Ibadan but will travel there to get it done on time because my starting date is Jan 10

it's a good sign. Congratulations in advance. Go to IOM or qlife in person. They should schedule a date for medical for you. Explain to them that you got medical request and there's no available date on their website

Yes I got email notification to check my gckey account it was sent on 19th
