True we are desperate and with the way they doing their things we really can’t predict how long it will take. So it’s good we are on safer side now

This can really help us about our travelling plan. It’s not a must to be African country to travel for 14days though

I think it’s possible the issue here is not about Nigerian passport but it’s about flight from Nigeria.

What I heard from the news yesterday was that if like a Nigerian travel to UK / other country he will obey the quarantine rules in that country and when the traveller leave the country again he will do the test before leaving the country means the traveller is free from the omicron variant and can be allowed to Canada but have to quarantine there again.

But any country you plan to spend the 14days you must have visa for the country.

And like I read earlier you can travel to mexico with Canada visa if you staying less than 30days. That’s another option you don’t need visa apart from the Canada visa you have.

And turkey evisa also is another option

So leaving from other country it’s possible Nigerian passport

It’s way forward we should look for and be positive no matter the situation no one want the ban to last through next year so those with bad energy must just stay far away and leave us alone with positive energy even we hijack plane or walk or whatever it’s our problem.

The best bet is going to a country where Nigerian passport works and staying there 14 days before moving to Canada.
Now it will be verrryyy cost intensive.
I’m almost sure they would not ban a country like Mexico: even though it’s almost 3rd world, it’s still a North American country.
A Canadian visa is valid for entry into Mexico if you’re staying for less than 30 days.
I’m seeing eVisa for Turkey too.
So, let’s get thinking on our feet.

Please even if one must use a neighbouring country for departure ,can flight be changed to that neighbouring country or we just cancel and wait for refund?

Am sure you can change to the country but you might pay extra cash

Well for me life is all about risk because even our life we don’t know what we happen in the next hour. If it worth taking the risk don’t think twice just do it and forget what will happen in the next 14days. All I can say is think positive and something positive will happen.

I’m scheduled to fly tomorrow through klm but with this ban on Nigeria ‘ the only alternative is to go from Ghana but I will have to be there for @least 14 days before I’ll be qualified to travel to Canada. I think I am really considering this option. The downside is that no one knows what will happen in next 14days to Ghana also .

Hi All,

I want to advise and suggest to members who are supposed to resume their studies in January 2022, please do not sit down and twiddle your thumbs over this travel ban on Nigerians, as it is now the ban is in place till Jan 31st 2022, according to the Canadian govt.( It might be removed or extended by then) you have to do something, it will cost you time and money but at least you would have taken your destiny in your hands.

1. Reach to your school to know if online classes are available so you can join if you want to do online classes, bear in mind the time difference and data cost.
2. If you can afford it, travel to any neighbouring country and chill for 14 days and leave from there to Canada, by doing this you would have by passed the condition of the ban. Doing this will mean you would be paying for covid test at departure and arrival and incurring hotel cost at any of the country you go to.

Please weigh these options and decide to act on one, lets not just be praying and not acting.

Bro the two statement of account try to merge it and attach it to where you suppose to attach the statement of account.

Under client information any additional documents you want to attach merge everything and attach it there.

Pls im in the process of uploading forms on the IRCC site. Pls under letter of acceptance is it only the letter of acceptance that should be uploaded there pls reply. I have so many documents. Im wondering where to upload them.

Secondly under the optional documents. There is an option called client information, which document should be uploaded there pls. Also i have two bank statements from my sponsor and three bank statements from myself. How do i upload all these documents bikonu.

Alternatively, you may request to withdraw your passport at the VAC where you submitted your application during standard working hours. You will be requested to fill in a withdrawal request form there.
Please note that it might take a few days before you can get your passport back. Withdrawal will stop the visa application process, and any fees associated to it will not be refunded.

If you can leave better to do it on time. But I don’t think they will close border because how long they gonna do that. They said get vaccinated we do now they still want to close border. If they do I guess it will only affect unvaccinated people.
But we hope and pray they don’t close anything because we don’t want to hang in Nigeria here.

I went for my Biometric enrollment 2 weeks ago and I have been tracking the progress since then. The BIOMETRIC ENTROLLMENT DONE level was initially marked green immediately after I finished the Biometric enrollment at the VAC but notice it turns red this morning when I was checking the progress of my Visa.

Pls, has anyone experience this, If yes, pls what does it mean?

The only reason I'm trying to withdraw is cos I don't have that much time. Plus today is just 22WDs for me. I can't wait.

Be patient and your medical just pass on 22 of November. Maybe this week or sooner you will get your PPR.
