You folk keep on banging on ignorantly about oil companies in Lagos. Do oil companies pay tax to Lagos State? This is something people keep repeating like zombies. Personal income tax is what accrues to states while company tax goes to the FG. Now what proportion of oil industry workers are in Lagos?

why not take a walk into the oil companies in Lagos and see how many their staffs are.. so you will know that the bulk of the job is done in Lagos

okay.. everyone has forgotten that Lagos igr also comes from the oil coys that operates in the Niger Delta, insurance company that insure these companies, banks that directly bank with these companies and so on.. maybe you should check out an oil worker tax. the economist forgot that it is a chain reaction..

they don't send mail.. they contact you through phone call and ask when you think you will be available... then their reply is " we will get back to you"

I'm from benin and originally was supposed to do my I.t in warri.. but stuff came up and the space was no longer available. the company then said the only place there is vacancy is in their Lagos office. so I took the offer considering that I'm already one month into the program and there's no alternative.. I will be glad if anybody can help.. the location of the company is in lekki..
