Abi na godfathers dey nominate ministers for apc constitutions Nawaoo dis apc self I just tire for their style o Your ignorance is baffling....How can an opposition Governor nominate a minister for a president who is not from his state......Gentleman, please don't let hatred becloud your sense of judgement ooo |
Politics › Re: Ministerial Nomination: We Won't Endorse Amaechi, Rivers Senators Insist by Jyde81: 3:06pm On Oct 11, 2015 |
ziccoit: Amaechi nomination as a minister, and many others as contained in the list, serves a big blow to the opposition PDP and a plus to the ruling party APC. In emerging democracy like ours, political value of an individual holding an office is as important as his ability to deliver on his campaign promises.
Let's use Amaechi as a case study. Having a dogged fighter like Amaechi as a minister from river state is like having two governors in that state. He is definitely going to ensure the continuity of APC in the state by sort of clipping the wings of Wike if he eventually survives the tribunal case. Wike and PDP know what they are going to contend with in Amaechi. They would have preferred a pure technocrat who will not add any political value to APC.
GEJ administration started failing by the ways the so called technocrats such as Okonjo handled some issues. Close to last election, there were several times Okonjo raised alarms about the deplorable state of Nigeria economy giving people sense of hopelessness under GEJ if he was to continue in government. Okonjo would have handled the situation differently if she was happened to be political technocrat.
I strongly believed the 21 men nominated were not the original list of PMB. Never! He was probably enlightened on how performance alone would not ensure continuity of APC government at the center without adding political value.
Example, Falana vs Fayemi from EKITI state. Falana is expected to deliver more but with zero political value while Fayemi is going to perform and add great political value to his state and party.
So, politics in about calculation not bread and butter as many people think here. You where making sense until u spoilt it by giving the example of falana vs fayemi. What political value can fayemi provide? This was an incumbent Governor that was thrashed 16-0 in all the LGAs in his state during last year's Governorship elections. Give another example abeg... |

My question for you: is it possible for all the corrupt people in the country to go to court at the same time? If you have an objective, are you not suppose to start with the one that is trying to stop you from moving forward? Saraki is a stumbling block to the positive change Buhari want to bring to Nigeria.
No system in Humanity is 100 percent fair. If you ask some people, as perfect as God is, they will still consider God selective and unfair.
What is most important is the net gain of the fight against corruption in Nigeria. Fairness to all is not possible and does not exist anywhere on the planet. However improvement on the level of fairness is welcome. but this is just the beginning. it is too early to start shouting witch hunt. Bless you... |

atbu1983: This your pro corruption and pro crime arguments is satanic and should be thrown to the dustbin. On this human earth, there is no way you can catch and jail all the criminals and corrupt people. United state, China,Europe and United kingdom cannot boast of jailing all the corrupt people in thier country. We can only talk of reduction. Allowing every criminal to go free because you can not jail all of them is lame.
There is an adage in my place " a woman who knows how her buttock looks, will be careful when bending down" Saraki knowing fulling well he has some skeleton in his cupboard should have been humble in his dealings. His arrogance despite having alot of baggage is Extreme Impunity. If not checked. it will encourage more people to steal and put it to your face because he believe nothing will happen to him. Many a banks have realized the power of a woman when it comes to securing those deals. I challenge any female marketer on NL to swear that she has never at any point given in either by way of love or meeting target. I will rather marry a known pro than delude myself thinking I have a saint as a wife who is a female bank marketer. They will do anything for that deposit. God forbid. Family › Re: How To Tolerate Cheating Husband. by Jyde81: 9:25am On Nov 19, 2014 |
voltron: I feel your pain. (well not really).
I won't go around asking you to pray for him because quite frankly, it does not work. He will come around when he does (if he does) If this was not within his character then you have to consider the following:
1: Where is all this coming from: are you recently married? was he under pressure to marry? are you both careers parents, have you had a disagreement in the past.. one that you stood your ground over a matter he was sensitive about, is he experiencing pressure or stress from work? has he recently been promoted? do you cook for him? are you paying for your family's upkeep (the one he married you from?) . contrary to the general assumption that a cheater is born a cheater.. cheating usually has its roots. A Man does not marry you if he intends to cheat on you. there are usually several dynamics to his behavior which you may have blissfully ignored over time.
2: How far gone is his behavior: Has his cheating become a habit or is he just venturing for the first time.. if he is venturing there is a good chance you can consider the above signs is question 1 above and try to right what went wrong. If it has become a habit. hanging out with friends late into the night. Friday nights out till Saturday morning, payment alerts to guest houses and hotels, stops providing allowances, instagram, BBM, badoo female friends.. then you may have to deal with this behavior with you and your kids interest in mind. Does he still provide at least for the kids if not you? Do not get emotional and try to confront him or report to his family (it only makes it worse and isolates you more). Take it logically, start improving your looks as well as your financial position (Self-improvement). cheating husbands are usually in debt and at risk of going broke or loosing their jobs i.e if they are not millionaires. You need to understand that as long as you present a weak position, he will only get bolder with time. seek to empower yourself and carefully guide your kids expectations (they are not fools, they can see what is happening)
What are your thoughts @OP.. can things honestly be salvaged, how much do you want your man back Wow! A clap offering for this. Very deep and enlightened advice...Nice one |

Banks are smarter than that except they are targetting to inherit a huge collateral and I can vividly remember that the general once said he has no property anywhere. Also APC seperating men from boys means they uphold money at the expense of quality leadership. With that statement from the party chairman, APC has just murdered democracy and should be ignored by any meaningful and patriotic Nigerian. My thoughts though God bless u my brother. ujoinme: In just 10 months the airport was completed to a stage that i could airlift pilgrims to mecca. And the governor spent only N11billion on the project.
This is why i am of the school of thought that every state in Nigeria should have its own airport, they don't have to break the bank to do it, Bauchi used 8 billion to build its own, and now lamido used 11 billion this proves that standard airports can be constructed at minimal cost in every state without one, upgrades can come later when they are needed. So all state governors that are using the no money excuse should STFU,
Kudos to Gov. Lamido and the people of jigawa.
Many are complaining that GEJ is not working yet under his leadership 4 state government has built their own airport, if this is not development then i dont know what is, for this is the first time in the history of the nation that state governments are doing as good. .
