Ginaz: Some people will just come and be writing rubbish . That’s how you give men the right to just do anyhow things and get away free.
Which man in his right senses would watch his girlfriend grow up with him with no dreams of her own or even if the lady doesn’t have dreams, he can’t build her up? That means the guy doesn’t care anyway and he is just using the girl for sex.
Girls I would advise you to follow men who have visions, aspirations and a future cos even if you were the most dumbest girl in the whole world, their dreams would rub off on you to make you become better.
Na only empty and wicked boyfriends na fit do that . They are building their lives , they know the girl isn’t making any steps to build hers but would hang around, f***k her for years only to dump her like a trash. If she didn’t have plans, why not leave her ? Why hang around and use her and dump her? It’s very painful .
There is no excuse whatever in the planet that justifies that. It’s very painful and I sympathize with any lady facing this situation.
The man simply would have left her since she wasn’t good enough than to dump her at the last minute. first of all bae, sex is a two way thing so they are both enjoying each other. secondly no body should go into a relationship totally dependent on the other person for survival that's extreme stupidity and you can also call it greed in some way, beauty fades I hope you know. what if the guy was the irresponsible one and the girl decides to leave for that reason, y'all ladies will applaud her for not allowing a no good leach feed of her right? bottom line is everyone should work on their self so no one becomes a burden on their partner. |

babakb: He is not likely to win anyone again cus age has caught up to him, even Messi will not win at 35 years.
As a Cr7 fan I believe Messi is better but what I don't like about u Messi fans is to claim that Cr7 awards were bought, common we talking about the Top scorer and top Assists in UCL history. need I remind you that all this started because your guy and his family just wouldn't let our guy be. in the past four years he won three out of four ballon d'or no body (Messi's fan or family) complained, but now that our guy won it all hell is let loose. admit that your guy is a sour looser, a trait unexpected of a true legend. life isn't all about winning laurels or outshining your pears you know. |

how is this shocking, dude is hustling unlike mompher, hush puppy or Invictus Obi aka Mr Aspire to inspire. the fool making the video was even mocking him, that's the problem we are facing in this country, exalting criminals above dignified hustlers. earlier this year I was thinking of learning how to drive maruwa or start plantain chip production just to fund my dream but societal pressure didn't make me pull true on it, I commend MayD for not bowing to the illusions of his past glory and I hope other ex super stars going through hell will take a queue from this, some times we need to step back to move forward. |

codemaniacs: you're getting it wrong, its not how the world works even though its possible to earn millions in Nigeria...
doctors, web designers, web developers, software developers e.t.c.. are all travelling abroad for money so why should athletes not travel... highly paid employees are leaving every year for money ( people who earn at least ₦400,000 per month), only people who earn between ₦700,000 - ₦1,000,000 per month are interested in staying back, how many sports clubs are ready to pay at ₦700,000 per month to athletes..
people who are satisfied with their Nigerian salary will not want to travel abroad, but people who want more for themselves and their children will.
no matter how developed the any sector is, people will still want to go abroad for money because that's how the europeans designed it by giving themselves better currency value than other countries, smearing other countries in the media, making their countries look like paradise in their movies e.t.c. the leagues in Europe started from somewhere, their economy too; accepting that as a norm and not trying to change any thing about it in our end is cowardice on our part. how many Saudi or Qatari player do you see outside their country, and don't tell me it's because they are not good enough. |

purples25: Thanks. Even if i get employment in another place, once i leave i am not coming back. They didn't even tell me the deal was off, they let me come back and then ignored me. It wasn't enough that they let me off the main job early and i still came to do something small. It was just that they wanted me to look like i needed them, they needed the last memory of me to make them look superior. I dont blame them. I could have left and never come for anything but they had to do it this way, ignoring me. We Yoruba's have an adage that says, "where a man says good by" he never goes back to say "I'm back". but it's really not your fault though, after all they called you, something tells me they'll still need you and that's when you'll stick it to them. |

codemaniacs: you're right, but would you rather earn ₦80k per month or $40k per week I'd rather the sporting sector was developed so our athletes won't ply their trade in the backwaters of Europe and Asia just to make ends, even they want to travel abroad it will be for glory not money. |

ahmed musa started from kano pillars, stephen odey started from MFM, victor osimhen started from ultimate strikers academy, emmanuel dennis started from an academy in Nigeria, mikel obi started from plateau united. Odion Ighalo started from Prime fc. kelechi ihenacho, kelechi nwakali, taye taiwo, chrisantus, peter olayinka, okocha, kanu, martins, yakubu, yobo, e.t.c... you still don't get me, compared to their counterparts around the world, Nigerian talents are doing way more to hit stardom which shouldn't be so if proper infrastructures were in place, many shouldn't even have to go outside before fulfilling their dreams. |

an athlete has to be in an academy and participate in competitions to get noticed. so how many sporting academies do we have in Nigeria? scratch that! how many academy boys have gone on to fulfill their dream? lastly Newell's old boys is a club in Argentina not just an academy, how many Nigerian club can boast of a football academy? the situation in this country is just pathetic. |

ArticleBeast: Why do the rich keep getting richer? They have learnt to build relationships, gather information, and act on it. Has local messi invested in social media, take advantage of football competition or trials... Above all, village people fit get hand bro forget, this country lacks structure period, how many ties did Messi build before he went to Barca, the Boateng brothers were spotted on the street in Germany, a pure talent need not do any thing other than practice to be better at what they do, it is the job of a talent manager to do the rest but sadly in Nigeria it's the other way round. PS. Nigeria economy sef na village people. |
Sports › Re: Obafemi Martins Rejected $1.5 Million Deal To Play In Saudi Arabia by Jyde89: 9:46pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
Nostradamus: you're right even Anthony Joshua had to move out of this country before he became great.i believe any athlete who stay here to practice is definitely not concerned about becoming a global superstar. Nigeria have a way of stopping people's talent. In America,it's easy for a kid who has basketball talent to make it to the NBA.all he has to do is just go to a school that's active in the NCAA league(a sports league for athletes still in college)and join the school's basketball team,he should work very hard to perform his craft and when it's draft-day(a yearly event) a professional basketball team will come and draft him to play for them.even if there's no team that draft him,he can still make it as an undrafted rookie(just like Boston Celtics and Senegalese boy tako falls.tako falls Was The tall black guy who took a picture with Davido sometimes ago). But here in Nigeria,we have NUGA games but stars in that nuga don't go on to become superstars in their choosen field.we need to change in this country.
Presently, the best basketball player in the NBA is actually a Nigerian, giannis antetokoumpo(adetokunbo)but he grew up in Greece. I swear if this guy grows up in Nigeria, perhaps he might be into npower or yahoo now.
Even Austin 'Jay Jay' had to go visit a club in Germany before Nigeria gave him a chance. sadly that's our reality in Nigeria, and the worse part of it is that the people at the helms of affair ain't feeling any pang to change it. I mean you can imaging a whole NFF chairman going to watch a PL match when your own league is in disarray, the Nigerian basket ball league is another one that brings tears to my eyes, sadly it's the talented youth that will bear the brunt of this extreme ineptitude. |
Sports › Re: Obafemi Martins Rejected $1.5 Million Deal To Play In Saudi Arabia by Jyde89: 9:42pm On Nov 26, 2019 |
I don't get the reason why all this footballers will want to waste money in setting up night clubs, I mean can't they think outside the box. the sport sector has great potentials with talents springing up by the droves and dying without ever shining, our entertainment sector is fast becoming a force to reckon with around the world, our tech industry is also pulling it's weight in Africa and all this sector will employ millions of graduates and non graduates, so they didn't find any business potential in all this industries except for the already saturated hotels and nightclub industry that is already saturated, and we blame the govt for our woes in Nigeria.
the likes of Andrew Carnegie, Cornelius Vanderbilt and Rockefeller never had it as easy as this but it never stopped them from building establishments that made America what it is today, I mean Carnegie and Vanderbilt literally built the universities in America just to show who is richest.
I've never met Martins before but I've always followed him from his days in Inter Milan and I hear he has a kind heart but seriously he needs business advisers that will make him go from being just a football star to an elder states man, all our footballers do. |

Nostradamus: bros not here.his friend might be a better player than messi,i won't be surprised...
The first step for a good(quality)footballer or any other athlete here to achieve his dream is to first move out of this country. It will be damn hard for any talented footballer here to make it to the big leagues without having any godfather(football own better, a basketball player will have to find his way to either USA or Europe). no mind the guy, footballers plenty die for my area only few of them get to travel out not to talk of make it. this country can really make a mess of pure talent and grind dreams to dust. |
